When I asked why, they said I had chosen the second option for my pedicure. I said I had selected the basic option and that I had been asked if I wanted a polish change and asked if changing polish cost an up charge of $10. They told me yes, a polish change costs $10. I don't believe it. I think there was miscommunication and I was given the upgraded pedicure although I clearly stated I wanted the basic pedicure, which is an unfortunate rip off. Not what I was planning on paying at all and would deter me from returning for future services despite the pedicure itself being nice.

I had called other nails salons to see if they would attend to my mother and give her a pedicure in a manicure in their salon , and many of them said no. They said if she was in a wheelchair , they just couldn't do it that she would have to be able to get up and walk and get into the chair. I don't know if this is just because they didn't want to be bothered or they didn't have the space , but either way it felt awful that they didn't even want to modify or try. Ruby and her husband Ray went to extra mile as well as their wonderful manicurist , M a i and they took very good care of my mother and made her feel very cared for and special and did a wonderful job and gave her just the color she wanted and a lovely paraffin treatment on her hands and also discovered that she had an ingrown toe nail , and we need to be seen by a podiatrist. They were warm and caring and helpful and professional, and they did a lovely job.They both went away very happy and they wanted to see her again They said I could just send her with transport and they would take good care of her. She had a stroke 7 months ago and has been paralyzed for the most part.But she is getting better, and she has come a long way, and I believe that today was very healing for her, it healed her heart and her soul.And we are grateful and thankful.

A guy had done my nails and they were all uneven, different thicknesses and rough to touch, but I paid and left without complaint. Second time, I didn't get the design I wanted and went with something basic because I didn't think he would be able to handle it and during this visit, he (same guy) changed the entire length and shape of my nails, which I did not ask for. So I was given a gift card for my next visit. This last time I got the shape I wanted and had a lady do my nails, but it looks like the bed of my nails are mountains because they're so thick and so completely unnatural looking. They just do not look nice or clean at all. She took twenty minutes just to do one heart, and finally, after sitting there for an hour and forty minutes, I said, I need it to go and to not worry about it. The guy who used to do my nails said. "Oh, you don't like your nails again?" Actually no, because this is the second time in a row, I didn't get the design I wanted. He knew this because he had come over and tried to help her do hearts, and then they were both struggling. I was still made to pay for it. I've never got my 10% off for my birthday. They are usually really great at this location, so I guess be cautious of which nail tech you agree to sit with. I've had miscommunication before but this situation has never happened to me before. I requested to take off the dip powder/current color because he thought I was requesting a gel polish. As soon as I sat down, he chopped my nail after I repeatedly pointed and told him these were my natural nails that I wanted to keep. With each chop I stopped and told him these were my natural nails that I want and with each chop he reassured me in different ways of 'Okays, Yes,' and demonstrating to me that 'I see your natural nails and here' and pointed to the underside of my nails. I attempted to trust the process because 3 nails were already chopped off plus my last visits ended in beautiful work. It got worse with each step. My nails are now breaking, flimsy, uneven, and so short to the skin that it's terribly tender. Needless to say, I won't be able to visit any nail salon in the foreseeable future.
