I'm unable to comprehend how we went from my beautiful nails on the last visit to the monstrosity of this visit. They are usually really great at this location, so I guess be cautious of which nail tech you agree to sit with. I've had miscommunication before but this situation has never happened to me before. I requested to take off the dip powder/current color because he thought I was requesting a gel polish. As soon as I sat down, he chopped my nail after I repeatedly pointed and told him these were my natural nails that I wanted to keep. With each chop I stopped and told him these were my natural nails that I want and with each chop he reassured me in different ways of 'Okays, Yes,' and demonstrating to me that 'I see your natural nails and here' and pointed to the underside of my nails. I attempted to trust the process because 3 nails were already chopped off plus my last visits ended in beautiful work. It got worse with each step. My nails are now breaking, flimsy, uneven, and so short to the skin that it's terribly tender. Needless to say, I won't be able to visit any nail salon in the foreseeable future. read more

Even though they have changed owners I still am a loyal patron. I have gone in to this salon for over 10 years for manicures, pedicures and eye brow wax. I am usually satisfied with the services I receive. However, less than a week ago I got a gel manicure and it's already chipped and looks awful! I have an event tomorrow night and I'm going to have to pay to have them redone! Very disappointing read more

I hear my friend next to me getting acrylics panicky say "MY FINGER IS IN YOUR SCISSORS!" she kept cutting... again she repeated it twice! ... unbelievable Gems on nails we're applied crooked.. I wanted my nails cleaned out underneath acrylics she said "no your nail will fall off"... 10 years and they have never Fallen off! So she reluctantly started cleaning under my nails while digging the rotating tool SEPARATING between my nail and finger! Two fingers injured... Still bruised and in pain two days later! Crooked nails... didn't finish color on tips of nails...said I couldn't have narrower nails like I wanted $45 dollars for a fill! I have NEVER PAYED $45 for a fill... Run away ! Had a basic pedicure that seemed far from basic -- a thorough foot massage with hot black stones, and what meant the most to me, I was treated like a valued customer though I was dressed a bit grungy for my bike ride and had a bag of groceries. This is a lovely, calming shop with friendly folks, and in an area that often tries too hard to court the upscale crowd, I wasn't made to feel any different than the guy in Ralph Lauren or the snazzy snowbird who followed me. I'll spend my money where people are treated like people, and these folks deserve the clientele. read more

And, they try to get over on you when it's time to pay by charging you more than what is on price list and claim "because you had gel" when you were never asked or informed. UPDATED 11/6/18 So I thought I would give them a second chance I went and got dipped manicure. When I got the service I asked the technician how long will it last? she said about three weeks for $35 that's pretty reasonable. However, not even a week later and my nails started to chip and break. I contacted the salon and the manager told me to come back and they'll fix them, went back to get them fixed to my surprise the next day three nails were chipped again not to mention she thinned them down so much and gave me a a cut on the side of my finger see pictures. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK AGAIN. Save your money one day after getting my nails done, multiple nails chipped! I informed the nail tech that the polish and the top coat were too thick, he seemed very annoyed and didn't care about it! I really liked the place but they need to upgrade their nail polishes as they are very old and thick. read more

By far the best acrylic manicure I've ever received! Walked in on a Saturday afternoon around 3:00pm, got right in and sat down with Tiffany. She did an amazing​ job, very polite & overall​ she gave me the best acrylic nails I've ever had! Will come see her again! The spa is beautiful & I love their pink & grey wall! Everything was very clean and well kept. The prices were amazing! Plus all nail services are 10% off! Even better right?! A full set acrylic paint job for $27!!! That's amazing! I normally pay around 40 to 60 bucks for a horrible manicure. I always get nervous when trying new salons but this is by far the best one I've found! I will be back!! Literally the worst nail salon experience of my life. Do not go here for dip nails! I have been getting dip on my nails for 2 years now and have NEVER had anyone use multiple coats of hardener and straight up super glue as a top coat. I'm convinced these are never going to come off. The nails themselves look alright...the shaping is a little uneven but it's passable. The tech also only took off half of the dip manicure I came in with and was going to just put new dip on top of my half soaked off old dip (gross!), I had to ask her to stop and soak off my old dip all the way. My cuticles are bleeding and raw, my natural nails are absolutely destroyed, and I am so disappointed...do not come here. read more

If they didn't want to offer a discount they should not have advertised it falsely on yelp - it's not fair to the consumer Update: manager responded that we were not first time customers. This was definitely our first time there - this was actually our first time in the state of Arizona! The tech even gave us tourist tips after we told her we were visiting. We were in Arizona for our first visit and decided to treat ourselves to some time at the nail salon. We went in a group of 5 and got a mix of mani-pedis and just pedis. The nail technicians were friendly and giving us tips on places to visit in the area. Although a couple of the people in our group got cuts from the techs. Then when we went to pay and presented the yelp check in offer, we were told that they would not honor it because it was expired. It clearly is not expired. We asked that they call the manager to clear this up, and he did not answer the phone. So we paid full price and left. Their prices are high, especially considering my pedicure was starting to peel off by that evening, even though I was in open toe sandals the whole day. And to make it worse was when my sisters posted reviews of our experience and to caution yelpers about their refusal to honor check ins, the manager responded and LIED, saying they didn't honor the offers only because we were returning customers - this isn't possible because we are not from the area! I would strongly recommend any potential customers look elsewhere and avoid this place and it's unethical practices. read more

I just paid $35 for the worst pedicure ever. Avoid this place at all costs. My tech spoke no English at all so she just ignored whatever I asked for. Then she cut me so badly that I bled for half an hour. No one apologized she just giggled and kept doing her thing. Since she spoke no English I couldn't get her to put pressure on it, she just kept dabbing it with alcohol which just made it bleed more. I had brought my own new bottle of quite expensive nail polish and she poured a bunch of nail polish remover into it. I have no idea why she did this but it is no good now because it is so thin. I was just looking at my toes and there is polish all over the skin and cuticles and the color is all washed out because she thinned it down and only did 2 coats. Summary: 1) ignored my requests 2) no English at all 3) ruined my own bottle of expensive polish 4) did a terrible job, leaving polish all over my cuticles and virtually no polish on my nails 5) cut me so badly that I bled for half an hour and have a big ugly blood clot on the side of one toe and 6) no one apologized for any of this until I told them off on the way out the door One other customer told me that I should be used to being cut if I get pedicures. "You have to live with the blood to look pretty" so I guess this sort of thing is par for the course at this substandard salon. read more
