If you've ever been kicked to the curb in a relationship and had no idea what happened, but you had your heart and soul in it and no matter what you tried, you couldn't fix it, well, you'll understand the feeling I had. In the case of my hard drive, however, I was glad I found Ace Data Recovery, who could fix it. My drive had some precious data and artwork on it, and Ace Data got it back. As you likely know or will find out, this is not a cheap proposition. All drives will eventually fail and, fortunately, these days it's fairly inexpensive to buy a good external drive. But if the day comes that you're stuck and need an honest assessment by a reputable company...this is a good one. Diana and Don were very helpful and responsive, and I got back everything I'd hoped for. Fwiw, I spent several weeks after first contacting them, learning everything I could about data recovery and comparing prices. Ultimately, it became obvious that it's faster and safer (and cheaper in the long run) to take your drive to an expert. The price I received from Ace Data was consistent with other places of the same caliber!
