He took over a week to even start my diagnostic and he deliberately ignored my phone calls when I tried inquiring about it (the store calls go directly to his cell phone). As soon as I called from another phone, he answered immediately. He tried to do the same thing again the next day when I called but since I did not have an extra phone to call him off of, I just called back to back until he answered and he did eventually after the 13th call. When I asked to speak to a manager, he told me that he was the manager, and when I asked to get a corporate number, he informed me that he is also part owner. So there was no one to report him to. Lose-lose situation. 2nd, he gave me a fake diagnostic. My toddler threw a a class cup at my desktop breaking my screen. David told me that it was not the screen, it was the motherboard that was bad and it would take $500 to repair but my husband knew he was lying so we brought it somewhere else and just like we thought, only the screen was broken, $200 to repair. I researched smaller independent companies in the Fort Lauderdale area. I hoped to receive more personalized service and created a short list. I made phone calls and inquired about computer replacement and configuration. When I called BBM Tech Computer Solutions the call was immediately answered by Brandon Mannie. I explained what I desired. He asked questions about the functions used on the computer. He listened and told me he would send me an eMail explaining hardware options in addition to options and suggestions. Immediately I made my decision to work with Brandon and BBM. We talked. I made a hardware decision. A acceptable bill of charges was presented to me. I agreed and the desktop replacement was initiated. I happily paid the deposit requested and Brandon acquired the new desktop computer. Off site he then preformed the necessary software loading and configurations. At the agreed upon date and time, Brandon arrived with the new hardware. He seriously worked moving the files from the old desktop to the new. He made sure the applications, profiles, related data and other necessary items were on the new computer and working properly. This computer exchange also included moving from Windows10 to Windows11. Brandon described some of the differences and was patience with the questions I had about this new operating system. I am most impressed by the professionalism and skills I experienced by BBM. I was encouraged to call them if I ever have questions. They are willing to do post installation support. Like I mentioned above, after more decades in the IT business, I am most impressed by BBM .
