Olive (my 5-year-old Boston Terrier chaos gremlin)…read morehas been going to daycare there three days a week for a while now, and it's hands-down the best decision I've made for her. The staff are not just professional, they're genuinely amazing. Every single person there clearly loves dogs, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. They know each pup as an individual, not just a number on the roster. The daily mix of group play, individual attention, enrichment activities, and structured downtime means Olive comes home happy, tired, and mentally satisfied instead of overstimulated or bored. I've never had a single worry about her safety or well-being while she's there. Even better, my 7-month-old Amstaff mix Bohdi has been taking private training lessons at Fieldstone, and wow, Lindsey, the training director, is in a league of her own. I've worked with several trainers over the years (both personally and professionally), and Lindsey is by far the best handler/trainer I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She's patient, incredibly knowledgeable, reads dogs like an open book, and makes every session fun and productive. Bohdi looks forward to seeing her and her pup Birdie, and I can already see huge progress in his focus, impulse control, and manners. The training isn't just about commands, it's about building confidence and a real bond. The whole team at Fieldstone shines with genuine care and expertise. If you want a place where your dog is truly loved, safely enriched, and expertly trained, look no further. Fieldstone is the gold standard. Highly, highly recommend... five stars aren't enough!

The manager in the ad states…read morethat there are purified air, music piped in and orthopedic dog beds provided to each guest. The website states that there are terf play areas. That is simply not true - none of it. We recently used Happy Tails as a last minute place (our usual dog sitter had to cancel last minute). The communication was not great at all. There was miscommunication about what updates I should be getting (we ended up with 3 over a 10 day stay). I called at least 3 times and it went to voicemail. I left messages and nobody called me back. I only got updates when I called and asked for them. I talked to 3 different people and got 3 different answers as to what kind of updates I should be getting. The only updates we ever got were 2/3 pictures on a "report card". Nothing about her well being or demeanor. When I picked her up she was FILTHY (it would've been another $50 - $70 to get a bath upon pick up). The amount of dirt I washed off of her was disgusting. She had open sores on ALL of her legs from what I assume were pressure sores from laying on the hard cots (not the orthopedic dog beds as the manager states). One of the sores was actively bleeding. A few of her toenails were split. When I questioned what happened they seemed shocked and took pictures and told me they would investigate and call me back by the end of the day.... 3 days later, still waiting to hear. She was exhausted....like wouldn't even open her eyes (and she's a 2.5 year old ACTIVE dog). I understand that its stressful and can be tiring, but she slept from noon until the next morning. For what we paid for our 10 day stay (super expensive) compared to the treatment we received we will never return to this place. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Ever. We will be going another place next time we need someone to take care of our furry family member.

My dog was there for 8 days. I was told the daily rate was $44. I was the asked what activity package we wanted, and I said whatever was the lowest/included. Very poor customer communication. Very expensive vacation!

Unfortunately, my last few visits have felt more focused on money and repeat appointments than actually helping my dog. My most recent visit was urgent because my dog had an infected, actively draining elbow hygroma. We were scheduled with Dr. Christians Morales. Throughout the appointment, he repeatedly started sentences with, "It's quite pricey" and "The cost is pretty expensive," even though I never asked about the price. I repeatedly asked for a clear diagnosis, but instead received uncertain explanations, including that my other dog may have bitten him during rough play or that it might not be the hygroma. I left without a clear answer. However, when I later requested the medical notes for insurance, they clearly stated that my dog had infected elbow hygromas. Why was that not explained when I directly asked several times? I understand my dog can be difficult when sensitive areas are touched, but this office repeatedly presents anesthesia as the only option, even for a nail trim, without discussing alternatives such as trazodone. Continually putting a large breed dog under anesthesia should not be treated casually. I also asked how to stop him from licking and scratching the infected area. I was told to put him in a long-sleeved shirt, even though the hygroma had been leaking blood and fluid for days. I was then told to use a cone, which may prevent licking but does not stop him from scratching his elbow. I left without a realistic wound-care plan. He was sent home with pain and infection medication, but his condition has continued to worsen. I was told to return in a week if it did not improve, which would mean yet another costly visit without a clear remedy. While there, I also asked about missing patches of hair that may be allergy-related and a persistent bump on his chin. I was told that was "too much to go over in one appointment" and that I needed to schedule another visit. Three days later, I sent updated photos showing that his elbows were getting worse. It is now the following day, and I still have not received a response. I have since scheduled an appointment with another vet because I still do not have clear answers or an effective treatment plan. I understand veterinary care is expensive, and I do not expect it to be free. My issue is paying hundreds of dollars across multiple visits while leaving without a clear diagnosis, proper guidance, or improvement. I am genuinely disappointed because this was once a veterinary office I trusted completely.

Very disappointed with the care my dog, Scotty received during the stay from July 3-July 11, 2026…read more I chose this business because I expected my Scotty to be safe, comfortable and well cared for. I completed all necessary questions, completion of documents, physicals, etc. prior to admittance. I explained the care my that was needed, and I was assured that he was in good hands. Unfortunately, upon departure, Scotty was given to me in my arms rather than placing him on the floor I noticed unusual behavior and poor hygiene. Upon arrival at home I placed him in grass to potty and he could barely stand. I picked him up and took him inside and begin to wipe him off and I noticed that his front paw pads were damaged. It was obvious that an injury was sustained. I attempted to communicate by calling and emailing this company. I was able to raise my concerns with the staff. Eventually the owner, Laura responded to my email. She admitted that she meant to communicate with me before my departure, but I had already left. I could have been contacted when the injury was observed. They did not notify me of any issues and I called three times while on vacation. I never received any report cards on a daily basis as mentioned on the website. Laura also implied that it was my fault as owners are not aware that concrete can burn off the paw pads. I do not walk my dog on hot concrete. Cozy Canine places dogs in outside kennels with rocks. It was a concern of mines and I asked about the hot rocks. I was told that they monitor all pets and only keep them out for a short while when it is hot outside. I took my dog to the vet and the vet said that it looked like his paw pads had been pulled off. The paw pad was badly infected and was treated. We went back to the vet twice and the paw was not healing. This impacted Scotty because he was suffering. I could not see him continue to suffer. I had to have him euthanized. It has also affected my family and I because he was part of our family for 17 years and we loved him. It was his one month anniversary of his death on 8/21/2026. I am sharing this review so other pet owners can make an informed decision. I hope the facility addresses these issues and improves the quality of care for the animals entrusted to them. I have raised my concerns with the owner, but no resolution offered.

Very disappointing. We've used this place twice, first as a test run and second for a week as we were gone for our wedding. We dropped our golden off and when we picked her up, she is covered in "hot spots" all over her body, from her lower back, under belly, and bloody pussy scabs all over her neck. I was not notified about my dogs condition my entire trip. When my husband went to pick her up, they said they just noticed it as they were giving her a bath, but the coverage on her body, and the severity of the puss and blood on her neck suggests it's been several days developing. I knew she was going to smell after the last time we dropped her off (as you can tell from all the reviews) but I didn't think the conditions would cause such terrible rashes. This is the first time she's ever had a rash like this. I wish they would have utilized the vet information we provided or called us while we were away. It's hard to understand how they didn't notice her bleeding from the neck until my husband was physically there picking her up. She is in a lot of pain and I would have at least scheduled an appointment with the vet asap. Pretty disappointing.
