I am extremely disappointed with the service and management during my first visit to Dave & Buster's for a family back-to-school outing. We had a party of approximately 10 people, and unfortunately, what should have been an enjoyable evening was overshadowed by extremely poor service and an even more disappointing response from management. I arrived after several members of my party had already placed their orders. I ordered wings along with spinach dip as an appetizer. Despite ordering after everyone else, I received my entrée before several others, yet my spinach dip never arrived. Everyone at the table eventually received and finished their meals, and I still had not received my appetizer. Our server had not returned to check on the table, so I had no opportunity to even bring it to her attention. When she finally returned and I told her I had never received it, she appeared surprised and said she would get it. It arrived approximately another 5-10 minutes later, long after it should have been served. Getting something as simple as water was also unnecessarily difficult. I requested water and did not receive it, so I had to ask again before finally getting it. Later, members of our table requested additional water multiple times and still had not received it by the time we were ready to check out. We had ordered desserts that were very rich, so naturally we wanted something to drink, yet repeated requests for water went unanswered. Another member of our party requested plastic utensils when her pasta was served. Approximately 15 minutes passed without her receiving them, and because our server did not return to check on us, she eventually had to leave the table and go to the bar herself to find plastic utensils just so she could eat her meal. At that point, I requested to speak with a manager. Approximately 20 minutes passed, and no manager ever came to our table. I finally had to get up, locate another employee, and ask to be directed to management myself. There were two managers nearby, and rather than immediately approaching me when the employee explained that I wanted to speak with them, they appeared to avoid eye contact and walk away. The employee practically had to stop one of the managers and direct her toward me. I explained our experience to the manager, and she told me that my spinach dip would be removed from my bill. Unfortunately, even after speaking with management, the situation did not improve. It took approximately another 30 minutes for us to receive our checks. Instead of reviewing the bills with us or making sure everything was correct, our server simply dropped the payment device at the table. When we reviewed the checks, there were errors, including additional items placed on one guest's bill, and my spinach dip had NOT been removed as the manager specifically told me it would be. Once again, I had to physically get up and locate our server to have the bills corrected. When I told her the spinach dip was supposed to be removed, she responded by asking, "Who told you the spinach dip was going to be taken off?" At that point, after everything we had already experienced, I found the response incredibly frustrating. I even asked her, "You don't think I deserve for it to be taken off?" What was equally disappointing was that the manager I had already spoken with was nearby during this time. I attempted to get her attention, but she appeared to avoid eye contact and never returned to our table to make sure the issue she said she would resolve had actually been resolved. This was not simply a matter of one forgotten appetizer. We experienced a pattern of poor service throughout the evening: missing food, repeated requests for water being ignored, a guest having to find her own utensils, little to no table follow-up, a 20-minute wait for a manager who never came, incorrect checks, an agreed-upon adjustment not being made, and management showing virtually no concern about whether our experience improved. For a party of approximately 10 people celebrating a family back-to-school night, this was extremely disappointing. More importantly, management had multiple opportunities to turn the experience around and chose not to do so. This was my first visit to this Dave & Buster's location, and based on this experience, I have no desire to return. I am submitting this experience because I believe both the service we received and management's handling of the situation fell well below what customers should reasonably expect, particularly from a business that promotes itself as a destination for families and group celebrations. read more

Saw the billboard going north on I-35 over by Dave & Busters about 40ft tv screens so we decided to pull over and watch the thunder game. Well we walked in and come to find out that half of the area is booked and the other half is closed because they didn't have enough wait staff. The games at this location all seem pretty well maintained and if there's anything broken then there's someone working on it right away. Back again and have I mentioned that if you aren't a rewards member you should really think about it. With every level you achieve you get rewarded from chips to food. With that said I'm here on a Tuesday which is t a regular day I'd be here but they kept mentioning trivia so I decided to come out and see what it's about. The venue itself is LOUD, between the music playing and the games dinging, it can be a bit much. They do offer a happy hour M-Th from 4-7 and Kate night after 9 as well. At the time of this review they are offering their $5 bites on certain food items. There are lots of TVs so I have watched a football game or two here in the past and I never felt out of place amongst strangers. With that said, there was NO TRIVIA this evening. I was told they stopped that about two weeks ago although there was a sign by the front door advertising it. I was told that they are about to do some remodeling so it will be interesting to see what comes and what goes. All kids are suppose to be accompanied by an adult over 18 but far too often I find myself feeling like I'm at a playground. We went on a Saturday with the kid. It's a huge building with games, eating, and drinking options. Ample parking. We did not eat or drink there. The kid had fun so it was worthwhile. She wants to go back. I give it 3 stars because it is really noisy in the building with music and lots and lots of people. We were there probably 90 minutes or so, but after awhile I started getting a headache. Second, the games are expensive. Some of them are easy to understand and play immediately, but some seem complicated so you waste money trying to learn through experience. And some are not very fun at all. I think D&B must be a huge money maker. The cheapest games are are over $1 per play. Some games approach or surpass $2 per play. It adds up fast. Tip: they charge you $3 for the card that you swipe to play the machines. It can be recharged so don't throw it away when you leave. Bring it back, put money money on it, and save yourself the $3 charge. read more

The service level is ... horrible! I mean how much can one expect from a huge guest occupancy, but come on, do we settle for this poor of service? I hope not! We opt not to eat here for fear the food would be ice cold before it hit the table. We had 3 drinks total while we played games in a matter of 2-3 hours. We spent more time at the bar waiting for our drinks or tab than we did on the floor. It's rainy and it was predicted last week. Be prepared with adequate staffing. Great renovations but maybe spend a dime or two more on staffing so the experience can be better than marginally poor. read more

I have not been to a Dave and Buster's for a year and there is one near my work which is awesome. They still have 1/2 off Wednesday and said sure why not lets do it and check it out. You get greeted and they asked you if you are in for the arcade, food or both and I said both. They told me to take a seat anywhere and order through the phone. I sat at the table and I had 2 people asked me if I was ordering since I was sitting on the table by myself, but I was looking at the menu. Ordering through the phone is okay as it was short and condense now. I remember the Dave and Buster's menu being huge, but not it is smaller. I ordered the chicken, bacon, avocado, lettuce and tomato sandwich with fries and the blue jolly rancher drink. Food was very good as I got it pretty quick within 15 minutes after ordering. The only problem is you have to pay first with tip and usually with tip and on I believe with tipping it is based on how well the customer service is. But I was lucky the service was pretty good. I would give the restaurant process a 4 stars. Oh yes I am amazed how many TV's and seating area is like, I was really impressed as it would be a place I would go on a sporting event. Now time for the arcade. They have hand sanitizer stations, but it has a certain horrible smell on it. I rather go to the bathroom and wash my hands. They have a lot of machines where you can buy more tokens and recharge your card. I heard you can use your phone as a card, but not so sure how great the technology would be. So lets do a math of how much each chip costs. So if you get 750 chips worth 100 dollars that is around 0.14 cents a chip. Games for half of range from 1.3 chips being the cheapest which is usually skee ball and then the high ones which are the pirate treasure which is 5 chips. So you are paying between 0.25 to 70 cents a game for Wednesday I think. The arcade games you are going to get your money's worth on it as they last a lot longer than the ticket games. Most of the games require luck involved and cost the most. Dave and Buster's have caught on to the games that require a lot of skill has less payout like the Carnival Milk jugs. I had more fun playing the arcade style games than the ticket games as it last me longer. It is hard to get the jackpot on those. Anyways I accumulated 70,000 tickets over the years as there was a game that I was great at, but they do not have it anymore. The prizes here were not great and not much selection especially for the bigger prizes. Lots of junk prizes I would say. read more

Fun for the entire family! I went to meet up with a group of millennials at this location to grab food and play games. I had the vanilla old fashioned for my drink, it was super delish and strong! For my entree I had the bacon burger, it was superb. There was some sort of bacon jam on it and it was divine. I got my burger with a side of the garlic truffle fries, way too much garlic and truffle oil for me to really enjoy them. Our server was nice and attentive. Games are awesome and they have a good variety of them. I am giving them a 4 star review due to food. Food is just Ok. They have a lot of dishes. I have tried most of their appetizers and some of their entrees and nothing has been spectacular. If they could focus on half of the dishes and perfect them they would not only save money but make more money. Once again, if you are going just for food try somewhere else. We've been coming to this location about once a week this summer and have just had okay service when dining every time. However, today we had a server I didn't recognize, maybe he's new but we had AMAZING service with him today. He checked on us several times and always anticipated every need. He was the first server there to ever check back on us after giving us a chance to try our food and also the only server to not have us waiting 10-15 minutes for the bill. He was also very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. And I hate that I didn't get his name but I think it was Nathan? So sorry but thanks for the service!
