Took 35 to 40 minutes to get 4 cheese sticks, 3 potato cakes, and five wings. Cold and bland. Would of got better appetizers from White Castle!! Our server never comes back to check if it's good or not. 20 minutes later our main courses arrive orders are wrong and my wife's steak was overcooked like chewy rubber. I've been to the Dave and Busters on the north of the I-275 loop and looked forward to this opening closer to home. It was a disappointment. We walked in to be seated there were about 5 servers standing around at the desk and many empty seats. When my server sat me they sat me in a section with only 1 other group eating and I was place right next to the kitchen doors. Who places customers in nearly an empty section in the worst seating right off the bat. I decided to order the short rib & cheesy mac stack here is D&B's menu description "SHORT RIB & CHEESY MAC STACK Tender sliced short rib, creamy mac & cheese and bourbon- glazed onions sandwiched between two thick slices of sourdough and grilled to buttery, golden-brown goodness. Served with crispy seasoned tots." Don't believe what their menu says or what their picture looks like. My sandwich was not creamy, didn't have any bourbon taste, and was chunks of meat were not ribs and very little meat. When my server came back I asked them why it didn't look like the picture, he replied he didn't know the picture of the menu. I asked if he could get a menu to look at it and some supervisor figure came. I asked him why it didn't look like the picture and again this person didn't know what the menu looked like. I asked him to get a menu and look at the difference, he said "I'm not arguing with you sir" I'm not sure why he took a hostile tone so quickly, I reiterated that the menu and what I got were two different things and asked why. He stated "maybe the cook was in a hurry" then I said you mean you have no standards in place to make sure consistency of product?, he couldn't answer that. I was just shocked at the ignorance of the menu these people had. We decide to have it "redone" which didn't really change much but had another slice of meat added to it. It still didn't have creamy mac and cheese or a bourbon taste and the meat looked nothing like the shredded meat in the picture and was not tendor. After they "redid" the sandwich I could only eat half of what they brought out because the taste wasn't good and nearly everyone in my party was already finished eating their meals. The server did take off my meal without me asking for it, not that I would have asked them to, but it was a nice gesture. Needless to say we have zero plans to have an actual meal at this place in the near future. We might go and play games and order appetizers or eat before we go there. Until they make changes to staff or improvements to the staff I would recommend eating there. read more

Glad to see this is listed as an Arcade, not a Restaurant, because you don't want to eat there. We had been so excited to try this place; the food photos on the menu look amazing, and we had been to an Ohio D&B location and thought the food there was good. I never complain about food-I figure if I don't have to cook it, I'm happy-but this place was just terrible! On the evening we went, our companion's food came out looking like the menu photo, but if you see the photos I posted, our food did not look anything like the menu. The Philly burger photo on the menu is stacked high, a "half pound" burger loaded with philly meat and dripping with mushrooms, peppers and cheese, accompanied by a "half pound" of fries. (Along with a "half pound" price of almost $15.) What was served to us was nothing like that. The first time it arrived at our table, it had no Philly meat on it--just a smallish burger patty, a slice of cheese, and a couple bits of veggies. We sent it back since it didn't look anything like what we ordered, and they brought us the same awful things again. But it got worse--I took a bite of my burger which was supposed to be medium well, and blood dripped down the bun! (you can see in the pic). When I looked closer, there was a HAIR on the patty near where I had taken a bite! The managers weren't effective either. The first time we sent the food back, they should have made sure that the order was made correctly before sending it back out to us. Instead, it actually got worse! Dave and Busters open in Florence Kentucky and I was so thrilled that we finally have something to do for the adults. My son and I went on opening weekend just to check it out and we had an absolute blast. The problem is is that if you have a family of three or four you're not walking out with less than $150 spent. That's including the dinner the food and all the games. Stopped in with my grandsons ages 11 and 4; mid-afternoon on a "schools-out" weekday. We wanted just a snack, so we ordered 1 children's cheese pizza, 1 dessert and 4 drinks; for the not-so-paltry sum of $27, including tip. The pizza looked like cardboard; my grandson took 1 bite and left the rest. Any frozen pizza I've purchased at the grocery store would have looked better. We would have complained to the server, but she looked like she was about to drop, from exhaustion. Her and one other server seemed to be servicing the entire restaurant. I purchased the least amount games card for each, costing $36 total. My grandson's loved the arcade and the many games. I didn't see any signs indicating which games offered points. The cards lasted for about 1/2 hour of play. We went to redeem our points at the points store. One card had 0 points, after 1/2 hour of play, and one card had 8 points. The store offered many colorful candies and toys at easy reach for a 4-yr. and 11-yr. old. Both boys wanted a pack of Fun Dip which sells at Walmart for 2/.98 cents. They didn't have the 25 points required, so I got out money to pay for them. The attendant said, "No, unfortunately you don't have enough points for the Fun Dip, and we can't take money here." So, they had to put the candy back. This business "takes candy from babies!" Forget the poor value, bad food, and deplorable manners of this attendant! Bottom line: They could not give a .50 cent pack of candy to a baby, after I spent $63 there! I left with a crying 11-yr. old, and a screaming 4-yr. old! read more

I wanting to go to D & B as a part of my birthday celebration, it was supposed to be the second leg of my fun. I was celebrating with my family, so of course my kids were there. As soon as we entered, had trouble hearing anything. Talked to the person at the bar and had a hard time hearing her. Decided to look around before sitting down to order and eat. Never been in this place before and didn't know what to expect. This place was loud, even my kids complained. My youngest started to get a headache from just walking through. They must have had every machine on the highest volume possible and no machines were even being played. What would it sound like if machines were being played. This is the only Dave and Busters I've ever been to, so I can't quite compare it to other locations. However, I've been to this location quite a few times. None of the appetizers I've gotten have wowed me and the two times I ordered from the bar, my drinks were terribly strong and I sent them back. The games are decent, but some aren't all that great, or they cheat you out of your "tokens". It's somewhere to go in a convenient location, but it's not all that great. Our waiter (which we had both times), would go MIA for a while and did not keep up with our table. He brought someone in our party the wrong food and didn't fix it. read more

I used to go too the Dave & Busters in Tri County. We had the worst experience ever at the new Florence Ky restaurant. Started out fine. Sat at the bar got our app. in a timely manner. It took over an hour to get the cheeseburger and wings we ordered. Then the wings come out absolutely room temperature. The worst part is we never had anyone once say we are sorry for the mix up They did say we'll take care of the food bill. But they left a bill for our 1 beer and duet drink. We have not eaten there, but just took my three kids for the games today. We had a great time. I knew going in the games would be expensive, but there are plenty of coupons for $20 free. We spent about an hour and half there. Their game selection was great. Classic arcade with large sized "app" games. Got a decent payout of tickets. Four player air hockey is super fun. The best part was when I lost our swipe card with 3000 tickets on it. I asked Kelly G in the reward shop if anyone had turned it in. She had it right there! This is our family have fun spot... found this gem a few months ago and have been a handful of times since. We have always had a great time and the food is good..but for a family of 6 be prepared to plunk out some cash. I gave it 3 stars because the last two times we came,, there was a discussion in the car on the way home about the food quality vs. the cost. I recently took my Grandchildren for a night out including dinner and games at our new Dave and Busters. Within about 4 hours of our return home my husband became ill with all the symptoms of food poisoning. This lasted through the night and gradually subsided the next day. The most significant difference in his meal and ours was that he ate the shrimp off of my grandsons Surf and Turf meal kids meal. I called the local establishment. They connected me with the "Head Chef ". Who told me that what my husband experienced could not have been food poisoning, because the onset time for symptoms is a minimal of 12 hours after ingestion. He referenced this time frame to training he received from the company. I expressed doubts, and explained that I was very disappointed with the experience. He was polite and attentive and assured me that Dave and Busters are very concerned about costumer care and satisfaction. He explained that he would forward the information, and that I would be contacted. He seemed very positive that Dave and Busters would want to address my concerns, I was contacted the next business day by a representative at the corporate office. The woman with whom I spoke wanted to know if we'd been to the doctor or emergency room. No, we didn't feel it necessary. She then proceeded to tell me again that food poisoning doesn't show symptoms for 12 hours, and under the circumstance she would note the call, but Dave and Buster's could do nothing more to address my concerns. First, This Company needs to retrain their employees on types of food poisoning and onset times. According to the US FDA there are a variety of foodborne disease-causing organisms that frequently cause food poisoning. The onset and symptoms vary. Onset times range from as little as 1 hour to days. To address compensation: I was not really wanting or expecting much. However, when I purchase a product I do expect a minimal level of quality. Paying for a tainted meal just isn't acceptable. Even the gesture of offering compensation for that one meal would have shown me that Dave and Buster's were concerned about their customers' experience, and stood behind the product that they are selling. They were unwilling to do so. Go if you must, but by all means skips the food service! read more

The food is always great here. The drinks are good too, taste wise, however they are grossly overpriced. The service has been less than terrible the two times I have been. I recently went with a group of friends, attempted ordering drinks 3 separate times to which the server returned (more than 10 minutes later) to tell us they didn't have the drinks we were asking for (despite them being listed in the menu). It took roughly 45 minutes for our food to come out to our table. The server made numerous excuses as to why it took him so long, and once our food was out he was very inattentive. A member of our party had to retrieve napkins, straws, and silverware himself from the bar. A couple in our party went as far as saying they will never return. read more

This was the first time I had visited this location (as it is very new) and it is safe to say it is likely the last time I will be visiting. While the food was average, the service was remarkably terrible. It was slow and inattentive. Slow service can sometimes be justified if a restaurant is busy, however, on this particular Friday night it appeared quite slow by any restaurants standards. Every visit to the table was followed by a 10-15 minute absence by our server, this included waiting on our drink orders. Every break in server absence was met with a new excuse, ranging from "I forgot what you ordered" to "I have a table over there that is out of my section". Not to mention, the one variation in any order, no tomatoes, he managed to foul up. The icing on the cake came when he stopped by our table as we were finishing up to ask how the check was going to be split up. We told him how to split them, 3 separate checks, and he ran off to the computer. 25 minutes passed by before we saw him again, and we asked could we get our checks. He responds "Yeah, I will go get those for you." So my question becomes "What was he doing for 25 minutes?" Finally, he brings our checks, which are not correct, so he has to take them back to correct them, which takes another 10 minutes. It was really unfortunate because I wanted to order another drink on our tab, but I feared we would never make it out of there, so I walked up to the bar and grabbed a drink on my own. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:08 pm, and finally payed our checks at 9:42 pm. There are fine dining restaurants that don't take 2 hours and 34 minutes to eat at, and Dave & Busters in Florence is anything by fine. Your money is better spent elsewhere. read more

My boyfriend and I came to Dave and busters for a bite to eat and to play a few games. we were seated immediately and our waitress was very friendly with a cute personality. I ordered the artichoke and Parmesan chicken with noodles. It was edible but not flavorful. The "sauce" was very similar to water. The portion size was very small, I ate my entire dish and let's just say I weight 100 lbs and a chipotle bowl lasts me two meals. after finishing my dish I was still hungry! My boyfriend was smart and ordered a hamburger. I will admit his hamburger was delicious!!! I will only order a hamburger next time I eat here. As for the billing, we participated in a deal that you pay X amount of money for your meal and for $20 worth of game points. So our bill was $75 but $40 of that was to play games in the arcade. So we tipped our waitress only based off of the food and drinks and not for the game play. I feel like the way they have this set up is a way to make more money and get tipped based off of game play. As for the arcade they had a great selection of games. We did enjoy our time playing and feeling like kids again. Walking in to the building it was unclear of where to go for a hostess. When we finally found it, she led us to a nice little booth. It took a few minutes for the server to get to us. After ordering an appetizer he asked if we were ready to order even though we already said we were waiting for someone else. The girl who brought us our appetizer of wings spilled the sauce all over my menu and didn't even offer to help clean it up, she just handed me napkins. The wings tasted pretty delicious and was a great appetizer. Once our third person joined us and our server got our orders, he didn't bring out our third person's water even though he walked past our table several times and we had to ask another staff member for it. Our food didn't take too long to come out which was nice. The chicken tenders were stringy, the ribs were excellent, and the philly cheesesteak was subpar at best. The fries were also underseasoned.
