    Steak and fries
    T T.

Bartender was very friendly and nice. Staff is very friendly but stayed in the back a lot more than I am used to seeing. The steak and fries really had no flavor. That irritates me. It sounds gorgeous on the menu and then you are immediately bummed out. And, they used flank steak cut the wrong way so you have to saw through it. Had to be the toughest $44 steak I have ever had. Used 1/3 of a bottle of Worcestershire sauce to get it down. I asked for medium cooked and they DID give me medium, so very happy about that. The food had beautiful presentation. Just had no flavor whatsoever. The bar itself is super clean. Really it's more like 5 stars for staff likability and presentation and 1 star for the bland food and poor cut of beef at a ridiculously high price. Gave em 3 as an average.

Very standard airport hotel restaurant. I ordered the steak frites medium rare and got a very well done steak, but they quickly replaced it. The Parmesan fries were crispy but not very flavorful. When I was there, there was only one chef working but the staff was very transparent and helpful.

Bistro Danielle is located in the Doubletree Hilton Hotel at CVG Airport. I ate most of my meals here, morning, noon and night for 15 days while I was working a job fair that my company held at the hotel. Here's why the restaurant earns 5 stars: Breakfast: The buffet offers a fruit bar, cereal bar (including homemade granola), bread & jam station, a juice station, a hot bar featuring scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy and a dairy bar. In addition, you can order eggs and omelets off the menu. Coffee is fresh and re-freshed quickly by the hard working morning crew. Shout out to Becky! Lunch: The asian salad, club sandwich, and cobb salad were my favorites! Warning - the salads are huge! Dinner: Hamburgers! Really delicious hamburgers! Bar: Fabulous service from all the bartenders! I had a Cincy-Made Rhinegeist TRUTH IPA nearly every day. I adore this beer! My colleagues liked the wine selection and I thought that their cocktails were pretty awesome! Filthy olives or Flithy cherries anyone? Shout out to Jared! My heartiest compliments go to the restaurant manager who made all my dining experiences memorable! 5 stars Bistro Danielle!

"Best breakfast restaurant", if you're staying in the hotel. Re-read that enough times to get it. Waiter (Layne) was VERY courteous and helpful. He was the best part of the whole experience. Johnny-on-the-spot with seating, a carafe of great coffee, checking up on me, answering questions, etc. Omelet was great and was exactly what I ordered. Why not 4+ stars?... ...I posted some photos showing -- despite showing up more than 30-60 mins* before they stopped serving (desk operator said they stopped "around 1030"..."around") -- I was lucky to forage from the leftovers. *Later found out they stopped at 11, so when a guest calls downstairs and asks; "around 1030" evidently means "1100". Very Spinal Tap-ish. I helped them empty the fresh blueberries, but there were other empty fruit bowls, oatmeal add-ons, one lonely piece of bacon, and an empty "mystery" section that must've been great, stayed away from the apples, since one was rotting. Grilled potato wedges were overflowing, tho...no prob with them. Ok, I get it: Saturday morning at the airport hotel is not necessarily the busiest time but... ...What Would Conrad Think ? If Conrad was at the airport Hilton, he'd think he better show up earlier in order to sample everything offered that morning. (But, not the apples.) Get the omelet. It's great.

Always like when the hotel bar has the local brews available. Great tasting Rye Pale Ale from Rhinegeist.

Let me just say this. Skyline Chili is one of my favorite decadent comfort meals. It is not health…read morefood. It is not subtle. It is a beautiful pile of happiness. So when I saw they were open at 6:00 in the morning during a layover in Cincinnati, I knew the angels were singing and my day had purpose. Breakfast? Chili and cheese wrap. Like a responsible adult. And it was absolutely stunning delicious. Decadent. Cheesy. Warm. The kind of meal that says, "You have nowhere important to be," even though you very much do. Now here is the issue. This is an airport location. Time is not just money, it is literally whether or not you end up in Cleveland by accident. You need a minimum one hour and twenty minute layover to even consider ordering. Anything less and you are playing boarding pass roulette. They are that slow. At one point there was a person standing at the front counter staring thoughtfully at the ceiling tiles like they were studying architectural history, while the lone hero in the kitchen was trying to crank out orders for the entire airport. It was like watching a two person play where only one actor knew their lines. The food is delicious. Truly. Worthy of devotion. But the process moves at a pace that suggests no planes are actually leaving today. So I have to ding them one star for the time warp and give them four stars overall. Come hungry. Come early. And maybe stretch before you stand in line.

It reminded me of school spaghetti and sauce lunch from the school cafeteria. I think its the Cincinnati concept and not the problem with this place, but I didn't think it was very good and don't think it would be different any where else. I get the sense that people from Cincinnati just dont know what good chili or good spaghetti sauce is. Sorry locals, dont mean to offend you all. It just wasnt very good. Th staff was fantastic, friendly and attentive however.

I saw a few reviews that referenced how good the food was at Boone Kitchen (at Marriott). I was of course quite skeptical, but I hand them five stars for having such an amazing selection like a fusion bowl, boom-boom shrimp, garlic shrimp endive lettuce wrap, an Ahi poké appetizer and they also have favorites like wings (that looked absolutely delicious) and then if you have kids: pizza everybody loves pizza, right? Equally impressive was the martini I had when somebody serves it to me in a glass that looks like it came out of my grandma's cabinet circa 1932. I'm impressed. Sea Bass was my order and they nailed it. Again, you have to remember you are in a lobby of a hotel so I give the Seabass five stars. Probably more impressive than the food was the service! I walked in and the bar was completely empty. I went to my room, took a shower and came back. The bar was packed and there's one bartender she was serving the entire bar and four tables with drink drinks AND food. Shout out to JENNIFER!! She's the amazing ringleader of a circus! Alone.
