I came to Yard House for lunch and had a bit of a mixed experience. I originally ordered the lobster garlic noodle and honestly it just did not hit for me. Something about the taste was off and I couldn't get into it, which was disappointing because I had heard good things about it. I ended up switching my order to the chicken and waffles, and that completely saved the meal. It was so good. The chicken was crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. I got the spicy syrup on the side along with regular syrup, which was the perfect move. I also tried their garlic truffle fries and those were amazing, easily some of the best fries I've had. Their ranch is really good too, which made it even better. Shoutout to the hostess for being so kind and helpful when I asked to switch dishes. They didn't charge me for the pasta, which I really appreciated. I was definitely sad about the lobster pasta because I was excited for it, but overall I still had a really good experience. My cousin ordered the watermelon margarita with a sugar rim and it was just as good. For appetizers, the cheese curds are a MUST. They came out super fresh, hot, and perfectly crispy. The parm fries are another can't-skip item, especially if you're into truffle and garlic. Definitely the move to start your meal. Of course I did the classic thing and remembered to take a picture of my food after it was already halfway gone I ordered the stacked turkey club, and my cousin had the lobster garlic noodles. Haven't been to Yard House in years, possibly even a decade. Went out with the girls and the Jambalaya was calling my name. Service was great and super fast. It was a little dark for me but I understand it mixed with the ambiance of the place. Ordered the queso dip for the appetizer and it was your average Joe, nothing special. They have some great happy hour deals, but it does get busy--we came around 4 PM and were seated easily, but by 5 PM there was already a line out the door. Happy hour includes half off select appetizers and pizzas, plus $2 off beers and cocktails. We ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and the chicken nachos. For drinks, I got the Grey Goose strawberry mule, which was delicious but very sweet. After about 5-10 minutes once the ice melted and diluted it a bit, it was perfect. Unfortunately, the buffalo chicken pizza was a miss. The chicken was very dry and overcooked, and we didn't even finish half a slice. On the other hand, the chicken nachos were excellent--huge portion size and very tasty. Between the three of us, we demolished the entire plate. Shoutout to our server, who was friendly and attentive and kindly comped the pizza since we barely touched it. Drinks were good, nachos were great, prices were reasonable, and service was on point. If you go to Yard House during Happy Hour, you're doing it right. The deals are fantastic--about 50% off appetizers, which honestly makes it hard not to overorder. My favorite spot for happy hour. They do get really busy so plan accordingly. Sometimes the waits can be long. My last visit I went with my boys and we had the best server. She was friendly and very attentive. Our food came out within 15 minutes. We ordered pizza, chicken tenders, fries and boneless wings. Their pizza looked a little extra crispy that day but my son said it was delicious. Their wings and tender were cooked perfectly. All of this was on happy hour and I spent less then 30 bucks which is a steal in my eyes. They also have plenty of beers and other drinks on happy hour. First time at Yard house and I have to say I wasn't impressed. We ordered the Chicken Nachos and everything was just piled on top. It was sloppy and had no presentation. It was severely over cooked because the cheese was brown in some spots. The service was really good though. It was really good with pieces of steak on top of brown rice and quinoa with sautéed vegetables mixed in. Slightly spicy but really flavorful. My hubby ordered the wiskey salmon plate and thoroughly enjoyed his as well. His plate came with a large grilled salmon on top of mashed potatoes and perfectly sautéed veggies. The entrees we ordered were as good as some other high end restaurants! The atmosphere is a bit loud and dark but we sat in a booth and were able to be comfortable and enjoy conversation. Went for a night out with friends and it was my husband's birthday. My friend and I wanted something light so we each order from the under 700 calories menu. She had the cilantro lime chicken and I had the chicken bowl. My chicken bowl was great with veggies cooked just right and juicy chicken on top. She said her chicken was dry, but I tasted it and it had amazing flavor and a really generous portion of chicken. I would definitely get that next time. We each had a drink, but she doesn't like the taste of alcohol so the waiter recommended the Malibu Peach, which actually has cherry vodka in it and tastes like fruit punch. She loved it. The complimentary cake for my husband's birthday was a nice touch. Service was great with us being checked on several times by multiple people, even though it was a slammed Friday night. The only negative is that it's so loud in there on a busy Friday night that you have to yell to talk to each other and people were standing next to our table talking with their drinks like it was a waiting area. But I guess you either skip a busy Friday night or ask for a table that is not right at the edge near the checkin area. read more

The food here is good, it's American bistro food and a Great selection of beer. Over the years you can notice the overall quality of the restaurant had gone down. Cleanliness is at an all time low. We can in one of the first through the door at lunch 10:58, sat second in order to a table with crumbs all over it. We had to ask for it to be wiped off. I looked around to the other tables, same thing. The menus are constantly sticky, and the floor is littered with stains, crumbs, and pieces of glass. Let me set the picture, it's Thursday evening and your boys hit you to go to Yard House. You've never been before and you're excited cause this will be your first time there. I wish I could've kept this optimism. Upon arrival my friends and I head straight to the bar and grab 3 seats, we order 1 beer everything's great. Some time passes and we decide to order another round this is when the vibe just went downhill. One of the bartenders I don't remember her name but it was a Hispanic lady with glasses. She comes up to us and looks me directly in the eye and says "your eyes look really low I don't know if we can serve you." My friends and I look at each other and laugh but she seemed to be serious. She then continued to antagonize me about being inebriated. Mind you I had 1 beer prior to this. She eventually serves us our 2nd beer. My buddy spilled a little bit of his drink and asked said bartender for a napkin to which she replied "let me guess the sober one dropped it" while glaring directly at me. I've been going to Yard House for years. While majority of my visits have been good (7 out of 10), there has been times where the service has been lacking. The review below is based on a 6/4 visit. Service: Came in during around 11pm just after a HS graduation. I wasn't expecting much as I anticipated that there's a chance we would be waiting forever but wasn't terrible at all. We had to split our party of 8 into two tables as they stated wait would've been an hour or so while two groups would just be around 15-20 minutes. We ended up doing the later, luckily, we were seated booths just behind each other but was seated 15 minutes after each group. Our wait staff was attentive and took our orders prompt with an average food turnaround. 4 of 5 stars Food/Offering: We would normally start of with the usual appetizers: Sliders, Ahi poke, Calamari. In addition, my guests ordered BBQ and Chicken Strips. The food has been consistent and most likely prepped ahead thus the fast turnaround. The drinks at the time were margaritas and beers on tap. Some drinks were on happy hour so that helped a little bit. 4 of 5 stars Overall: Not a lot of places north of Fresno are open until 1am so this was more of a hail mary to satisfy our hunger and unwind with some drinks. They do not accept reservations but they could guestimate waiting times if you call. The place is always loud with animated drunkards but they are mostly controlled (aka no fighting). A vast beer selection from sours to IPAs. I like going here, but if you are out and about around 8pm, there are better places to choose from. read more

We decided to try this place for lunch as they have a great selection of beer and food. We were sat within 5 minutes during lunch hour on a Sat. Our server, Yvonne, arrived quickly and took our drink and app orders. She was very knowledgeable of the different beer and offered the 4 flight option since we wanted to try certain ones, so opted for that. I got 4 beers: Voodo Ranger Juicy IPA, house hazy IPA, house honey blond, and another one that wasn't on the menu. The two hazy IPAs were my favorite out of all as have been on a hazy IPA kick lately. The ahi app came out quickly and was really fresh and tasty. The only, very minor, complaint was that it only had tiny amounts of wasabi drizzle in the sauce. The general manager Ed happened to stop by and check in on us, so we found out we can also get a side of wasabi next time. Ed chatted with us a bit and was very personable where we enjoyed talking to him. Im always impressed when a manager walks around and checks on the guests as feel we don't see it enough. Our food came out quickly and we dug in. My guy dropped his knife on the floor and used his butterknife to cut his steak for the rest of the meal. I felt our server could of stopped in sooner to check on us, eventhough she was busy. As for the food: the Korean ribeye was cooked medium rare perfectly, great flavor paired with chili garlic fries, delishious! I had the Thai pork chop which was also tasty, although I didn't like the side of vegetables at all. They were way over sauced and didn't care for the flavor. We ended up sharing a mango cart beer for dessert and was great! All in all we liked this place, but the food sauce was heavy for me personally. We will come back again and recommend! read more
