I went to Dave and busters last night with my son for dinner and games. We both had a really rough day so I figured we would unwind with some fun. We were greeted by the host and sat at our table. It took a while for our serve to come to us and let us know to order through the app. I submitted the order and 15 minutes later she comes back and asks if I submitted the order. Come to find out they didn't assign the table to the right server. 10 minutes later our food comes, we still have no drinks. I ordered the burger and it was the worst tasting burger I've ever had. The bread was hard and stale so I disassembled it and just ate the meat and veggies. The rose I ordered tasted old. However, not once did our server come to ask how the food was. She walked right by our table as our food was sitting at the edge, clearly waiting to be picked up. I made eye contact with her three times while she was walking around the dining room and still did not come by Finally after about 15 more minutes, she comes and drops off the check. Doesn't ask how the food was. I had to stop her before she took off again and let her know that the bread was bad and the wine tasted horrible. She took the check back and removed the wine. Didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. I know this may make me seem picky or expecting too much but as someone who has been in the industry, your job is to make the experience great and memorable. We will not be going back. read more

As we sat down, it took over 20 minutes before I requested a server to assist us. To add on the frustration, they took an additional 45 minutes to bring our food out (it was not a peak hour) that was wrong and missing items. After tracking down our waiters , we got condiment 30 minutes later. As much as they charge and the options available in the area, don't waste your time and money. Came for an early Father's Day celebration. The games were really fun and all open. The drinks were a little weak, but that's par for D&Bs. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was not well muddled (all the sugar sat on the bottom) and it was served over crushed ice (a huge no no as it waters the drink down). The waitress/ bartender was really nice. They were out of the Bavarian Pretzel and out of Wings. We tried the new Shrimp dip and I did not like it. It had a strange after taste. This used to be my favorite place to be an adult kid. Well, life has changed everything. I am served cold shrimp and fries , my wife's mushroom burger was so cold she took the cheese off and literally bit it and it crunched. i returned my shrimp to be reheated they brought it back blacker but still cold. He didn't see much to his liking but the winner circle was better than other locations This location seemed to be recently remodeled, They have an excellent selection of games but hardly any ticket coin games. Service was also mediocre our waitress named "Lily" who was completely unfamiliar about the menu or the dave and busters "taste for tickets". Additionally we never got drink refills until we asked a different server. The manager was very nice and helpful in the end when our server "Lily" was utterly confused. Ordered a whole bunch of appetizers and they all came out tasting like they had just been heated up in the microwave-- stale and abnormally hot on the outside cold on the inside kinda deal. They're just like any other D&B in terms of games. After someone's won the bonus for a game (like the Kung Fu Panda or block stack one), the game is kind of rigged so that it can't be won for some time. read more

There should be an option for negative stars. This is the WORST location ever. We are in San Antonio, from Houston, for a soccer tournament. We decided to take our kids (whole team) here and what a disaster. After spending $600+ at the door, things went downhill pretty fast. The only reason we stayed was so the kids could finish all the player cards we just got them. We wanted a table for 14 adults. The host for the restaurant said it would be an hour & a half. We couldn't wait that long as kids were hungry. He suggested we order from the bar. Ok! Kids go to play & 4 of the adults go to the bar. We wait in line for 20 mins. When we get up to the bartender, we ask for drinks and say we would like to order food. Immediately he was rude & says no food unless you're sitting. Mind you, they are showing a UFC fight so the place is packed. No bar seating available anywhere. I explained to him the 1.5 hr wait at the restaurant & that we had 30+ ppl to feed and the kids were hungry. Had he just listened, he would have learned that we just wanted to order 4 pepperoni pizzas. Instead he became irate & says NO and didn't care worth a damn. My husband spoke to the hostess at the front, who lied & said he told us order fast cuz kitchen is about to close. At 8:30?? When my husband says no he didn't say that, how do you know you weren't there, she lied again & said he said it on radio. My husband told her no it was a one on one conversation with him & I. Then she became confused & asked him if he wants a manager to which he says yes. A diff manager at the front of the store, came & told him yes you absolutely can order at the bar, so we went back to the bar and again the rude guy says no. I told him my husband spoke with a manager & it's ok, then he says I am a manager & no. We went back to the one that said we can order & he then went to the one being difficult. Another parent in our party heard the conversation that then ensued b/w those two. The nice guy told mean guy you must serve them then mean guy yelled at nice guy spewing several profanities saying he wasn't going to serve us! WTF is wrong with this place. Had we not spent $600+ to get all these ppl in & load player cards for our team, we would have immediately walked out. This place needs new management ASAP and more cleanliness (that's another problem). This place needs to learn from the Houston Marq E location & understand what customer service is. What a major disappointment for the one night the kids had to enjoy before playing again the next day. We will NEVER enter this location again & will make sure all of our friends, family & clients know never to come here. read more

They actually brought out 1/2 of the table's orders, then served 3 other orders for 3 different tables before I spoke up. The excuse was lame (we could only put in an order for 8, then had to put in the other order). Even if that's true, the orders for the other tables shouldn't have been served before our table received the completed orders. Management needs to do something. Who serves a southwest type of salad without actual pico and corn?? The salad had lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and cheese with cold chicken. There was no corn or pico at all! The bartender was made aware of the situation and called the manager who assured it would be made correct. Well, it was not! Same salad, just a tad bit warmer chicken. Great customer service! It was our first time to this location and the first time for my 12-year-old son to try the $10 Power Hour unlimited play. Unfortunately, he liked playing all of the coupon winning games instead of the limited number of Power Hour games, so we had to ask the manager to refund our unused card and to apply it to a $30 free-play card. The manager promptly arrived and after five minutes of trying to accommodate me, just voided or $10 charge and gave us $30 in free play at no charge! We found this location very clean and well-maintained, and pretty family-friendly at this time of day. Hey have a nice happy hour week day which my wife and I enjoyed by each having a cocktail at half price(~5.00). Didn't try any of the food.
