When getting an oil change and tire rotation a few months later, the chevy dealership in beavercreek, not troy, said that the hex bolts were too tight and they were going to break if they tried to get them off, so I told them to skip the rotation. Turns out, chevrolet of troy over torqued my hub cap cover's hex bolts. Fast forward to today, I got a nail in my tire and took it to discount tire to have it fixed and decided to do a rotation. They ended up having to break one of the covers off to remove the tire for a rotation because their allen key broke when trying to break the hex bolts loose. Another cap's bolts sheared off when they tried to loosen them. Came here to figure out a solution and was told by troy's service manager that because I didn't come back to this shop, they would not do a thing. Why would I want to come back to this shop after this? 13 years and this was a first! I figured that because this was a dealerships shop, they would know when to use power tools vs when to hand tighten something, but I obviously assumed wrong. Steer clear of this place. (note that the pictures are after the work from discount tire, but I'm not sure what "magic" chevrolet of troy would have performed to get a different result when 2 other places said this would happen...)

He told me that they did not have time to run a diagnostic on the electronics but they would get to it the next day and the cost would be $140. "Did you test the battery?" I asked. "No but we will when ready we run the diag on the electronics. The battery test is included." he answered. Then I asked "Why run the diag?" "Because the car wouldn't start." It was logical to me that a simple battery test would be the first thing to do. Josh had ruined my trust it was obvious that he was trying to scam me. I'm finished with Arbogast. After 34 years of buying and servicing my vehicles at Troy Ford\Arbogast dealerships, I have no need for them.

She gave me an estimated pickup date of 5/1, which quite literally blew my mind, considering the damage to my car. Every business day my car was at their facility, I had a picture emailed to me of the work they were doing - it was great to see that my car was a priority to them and was being worked on every single day. When there was an inconsistency between their bill and my insurance's payout, they hashed it all out without my involvement. When I picked up my car on 5/1, it was completely detailed, inside and out, and was 99.85% back to it's previous self. The work they did is guaranteed for as long as I own the car, too - so in case something happens down the road, I feel secure that they'll back it up. It's been almost 20 years since my last accident, so I'm not sure if this is the new norm or not. But last time my car sat at the dealer for about 6 weeks (if memory serves). CarStar is not that place. If you're looking for someone to handle your collision repair, I would highly encourage you to place your trust in them. I'm so glad I did!

We had them detail the inside & outside of the wagon. It was quite rough when we brought it in, but came out looking like a new car! They somehow managed to get out all the dirt that seemingly was infused into the back seat leather from our kids' days in car seats! Not sure how pricing compares to other detailers, after all detailing is expensive, but this is one of the few places that will steam the carpets & mats, so to me they are worth the cost. They do such a good job I think it would be worth dropping a few hundred on the inside/outside detailing if you are going to sell your car.

I had tint installed on my new Traverse at the Troy…read morelocation, and after the initial installation I found scratches along both side windows and a chip in the windshield banner. I brought it back to have the issues addressed, but after picking it up, I discovered debris trapped underneath the passenger-side tint as well. I had to make multiple trips from Huber Heights to Troy to address these issues and ultimately had the passenger window redone at the Poe Avenue location. While the issue was eventually corrected, customer service did not provide any compensation for the repeated issues, inconvenience, or multiple trips required to get the installation done correctly. Hopefully, the company can improve its quality control and customer service when issues like this occur.
