We had done business with them over the past few years and bought two new trucks from them. Matt Cross was great to work with but the service department is a different story!! They are very rude and don't ever take a modified car in there to be looked at, tech likes to go out and hammer on your car. He hurt my engine and never owned up to it! They didn't want to do anything about it or even work with us after we had bought two new trucks from them and we have two family members who retired from GM!! Guess that's the way GM does people!! Will never do business with ever and we are car people and know lots of people who know our story and will never use them!!! read more

Never take your vehicle to Dave Cross Motors for service. They have terrible communication with their customers and they took 3 weeks to fix my vehicle. Which ended in a full refund and I had them take their parts out. They told us 3 times our vehicle was fixed, we went up there 2 times and it was in worse condition then when we dropped it off. The third time they said it was fixed I told them we wanted a refund because we want people who know what they are doing to work on our vehicle. Gene is extremely unhelpful and when we said we wanted the parts out, he said it cannot be done today and that we have to wait even longer. Don't bother and let them go out of business! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service.Recieved unprofessional and confrontational attitude from service dept mgr.I brought in my vehicle that had a recall on it,as well as a couple other things to get done.I was told that would not give me a ride and that I have to sit around for an unspecified amount of hours.I called the area for a couple other dealers who stated they would give me a loaner.I definitely dont recommend Dave Cross.I even took it to the supervising mgr of the car lot to no avail of customer service being shown. read more

On July 21, 2014, I took my truck in for Certified Pre-Owned service.(Invoice #27321) This is a free service GM allows on certain used vehicles. It consists of an oil and filter change, a tire rotation, and a multi-point inspection. Since I usually do this type of maintenance myself I thought I would mark the tires just to see if they would rotate them. Sure enough when I checked the tires later, the rotation was not done. I took the truck back and told the service manager what I had discovered. He was certain there must be some mistake. When he reviewed the video tape he did see that the rotation was indeed not done. He apologized and the tires were rotated immediately. I told him that since it was the first time it happened to me I would not contact GM. On February 5, 2015, I took my truck in for the same service(Invoice #33011) and once again marked the tires. And once again I found that the tires were not rotated. This time I went directly to the Director of Operations, Dave Raming. He was very upset that I was telling him this and wanted more proof. He went to the Service Manager David Lee Cross and he reviewed the video tape and proved that once again the tech, a completely different tech than the first one, did not rotate the tires. My truck was immediately put on a lift and my tires were rotated. By the way, while the truck was on the lift I said I wanted to confirm that a new oil filter was put on and David Lee Cross did not know where the filter was located. How can a service manager not know where the oil filter is on one of the most popular trucks in the United States? So what does this mean? DAVE CROSS BUICK/GMC IS BILLING GM FOR CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED SERVICE AND COLLECTING THE FULL AMOUNT AND NOT PERFORMING THE REQUIRED SERVICE. THIS IS FRAUD. I told Dave Raming that I would be contacting GM to report this fraudulent business practice. Dave then asked me what I would like the dealership to do to keep my business. I told him I could use some new tires. A couple days later David Lee Cross called and offered to put new tires on my truck for a very good deal of only $1000.00 dollars. I denied the offer. Why would I pay a dealership a $1000.00 that ripped me off twice and ripped off GM and other customers countless times on prior occasions? Since GM was informed of the situation, they gave me $250.00 to spend on any GM accessories. (Case #71-1436009035). Dave Cross has still not offered anything as an apology and has since told me that they will no longer do business with me since I was a whistle blower to GM. What sore losers. They get caught defrauding GM and countless customers and they get mad even when the proof is video taped and they admitted wrong doing. So what does this mean? This dealership is a first time buyers nightmare!! I bought a 2012 Chevy Cruze back in April, which was the worst mistake I could have made. Every single month this car has been in their shop for some type of problem. First problem was a coolant leak which someone forgot to tighten something down. Second thing I took it in for was the car was idling rough, they told me it was a build up of carbon in the catalytic converter so they cleaned it out. Ah you can't clean a catalytic converter and if so I need to meet this talented mechanic! The third thing was a check engine light which they told me they can't check due to the light not being on. Then in August I go in for my oil change and my check engine light came back on. Well that is the day I will never forget, I got hit with a $2,500 bill for a pcm, map sensor, catalytic converter, brake booster, and turbo (which the turbo was the only thing under warranty). I was in complete shock, so I was introduced to one of the finance guys that could try and see if he could get me out of this car. He told me there is really nothing he could do for me and that I should burn this car to the ground and let my gap coverage cover what I owe. That is the most unprofessional thing someone could say!!! So I get the pcm, map sensor, and catalytic converter replaced (which they said needed to be replaced first before they could replace the turbo) and drop my car off the first week of September. I go to pick up my car because they one of the mechanics was test driving it right now and it should be done. I get there and was greeted by Jason and was told that we were good to go ahead and leave. As I am pulling out of the parking lot my car is rolling smoke. I call the dealership back and ask them if my car is supposed to smoke this bad I was told to hang on a minute while he looks into that, he gets back on the phone and tells me to drive the car back so they can look at it. My car has flames coming out and you want me to drive it back?!?!?!??! So I did what I was told and took it back to the dealership, this was oil everywhere. Come to find out one of the oil lines were broken when they replaced the turbo. So I almost died because someone didn't do there job and check over the car before handing it back over to me. So David the director of operations told me while I was gone on vacation (which was September 6th through the 15th) he would have my car looked over. He did generously give me a loaner car to take on vacation. I get back from vacation to drop off the loaner car, to discuss some options, and pick up my car. The only option David gave me was to lease a car from them, which is almost double what I'm paying on my car now. I told him I would think about and asked for my car back. The moment I started my car up I knew it was not running correctly. They had my car for over a week and it is still running like crap?!?!?! But hey they got it professional detailed David told me. Are you kidding me! I don't care if it looks good in want you to fix your mistake!!!! So I took it to a real mechanic, I now have a miss, vacuum leak, and it is making a God awful ticking noise. And still Dave Cross is going to do absolutely nothing about this! So please do not waste your time or money at this dealership!!!! read more
