Very atypical car buying experience. That is to say, pleasant, helpful, and straightforward..

After trying to get a transmission fixed that had been acting weird since purchase. With no help from the dealership or salesman, or general manager. Not even Ford themselves did anything. This was since the vehicle had already been bought and returned, with 5500 miles on it. Though it was listed as 'New' when i bought it. Finally, the transmission took out the engine. My thoughts. But it turns out that the engine had a Manufacture/ Factory defect that caused it. Bo never did file my Bumper-to-Bumper extended warranty so I have to pay $18k out of pocket. They say they did but never provide proof. It would help pay for this engine, right? This dealership will abandon you as soon as you sign the paperwork. I have spent over 3 years trying to rectify this problem with them. They refuse to help, or even communicate on the subject to find a resolution. They have even lied to the Attorney General on this matter. AG didnt seem to care either. Embarrassing. FYI - dont shop here. Dont buy a new vehicle since they have tons of flaws these days and this nonsense happens. Buy a used one thats broken in, and spend the left over cash on any repairs needed. Whoever the woman is that directs the calls is extremely rude and unprofessional. When I called today she said service isn't in so I can do it online. I had the website pulled up and it said I can't schedule this kind of service online. She said I can call first thing 7am on Monday like I map out my week by when I can call this dealership ??? I called yesterday during the day and left a voicemail to schedule an emissions inspection. No call back by the end of the day. I actually took my car into Dobbs and they can't complete it because my car software needs to be updated (I routinely take my car in for oil changes at Ford dealerships so this was frustrating in itself). Now it's been over 24 hours and I still haven't been able to schedule this and I've run into their service team being rude in the past as well. read more

Disappointed by Broken Promises and High-Pressure Sales Tactics I came to this dealership ready to buy a vehicle -- no haggling, no games. I had an appointment to see a 2019 Nissan Armada and loved the car. I was told I could either take it right away and return for a repair (a headlight assembly with moisture in it), or simply pick it up the following Monday once it was fixed. I chose to wait and made arrangements to pick it up on Monday. The salesman even texted me 30 minutes before our scheduled time to confirm. But when I arrived -- having taken off work and inconvenienced a friend to get a ride -- I was told the vehicle wasn't ready and wouldn't be for several more days. Still, I stayed open to completing the purchase. But once I sat with the finance manager, things took a turn. The pressure to buy warranty options was intense. When I declined, he responded condescendingly with, "Well, you assume all the risk then." I'm 55 -- I know what I'm signing. I found the tone disrespectful and the entire experience unprofessional. I ultimately walked away from the deal. After raising my concerns in writing, I was offered a full tank of gas as a gesture of goodwill -- which felt more like a dismissive token than a meaningful attempt to make things right. I'm sharing this not out of bitterness, but to help other buyers avoid the same experience. If you value your time and want to be treated with respect and transparency, I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

Put down a $500 reserve on a vehicle, with the understanding that I would pick it up in 2 weeks, as I was traveling from out of state. Dealer communicated that this would be no problem. Today I received a call because the GM decided to go against the agreement, and sell the vehicle after I had already purchased my non-refundable flight tickets, so now I am out that money. I would certainly think twice about buying a vehicle from a General Manager who doesn't honor agreements that were already in place. Would give 0 stars if I could. read more

On May 8, 2025 wife saw an advertisement for a dealer go-fer 2024 F150 XLT while we were finishing a 5000 miles road trip. We had been discussing replacing our trip vehicle which we had for 4 years with another F150. The vehicle BO was selling had a steep price reduction which would fit our budget, so we called, told them we were between Wichita Falls and Tyle TX, planned to be home in St Charles on May 10. Rhonda, our first contact, confirmed the vehicle was still available and present, so we asked her to reserve it for us, DONE. Daniel, sales rep, contacted us May 10, asked some questions about our truck (which was paid for), and set an appointment for 1 pm Monday May 12. When we arrived, Daniel met with us, took some more information, our truck was test driven and inspected, and an offer made. We accepted the offer and Jim in finance worked out all the details. We were there about 2 hours. Usually a vehicle purchase can take 3-5 hours, but this was great. Everyone was super, answering all our questions and resolving any concerns we had. They monthly payment was right where we wanted it, financed through Ford Motor Credit like we wanted. Daniel set up Ford Pass for us, gassed the new truck and we were off in 2 hours. Super crew working with us. On the way home, all the things we missed about our 2016 Ford F350 Dually which were not on our 2019 Ford F150 XL, were on this 2024 F150 XLT. Truck listed at one price, confirmed by the internet salesman, and confirmed by the sales manager only to be increased by the salesman Chris after a test drive. A $6,000 increase! To top it off they offered auction pricing for my trade. It was a complete disappointment. No response from Rory the sales manager to try and make things right. Went in to look at a V6 Accord for me I saw on the website. We were just walk ins. When I got there I also saw a Corolla that could be good for my wife's daughter. We are both replacing hail cars. First salesman seemed nice. Let me take the Accord out on a test drive. I asked while I was gone to pull price and mileage on the Corolla as well. Got back and he has Carfax for both. Corolla was more miles that we wanted which was fine, maybe they had something else after we were done discussing the Accord for me.. Accord had 2 rear end accidents on its record. Salemans schedule appt came in so he grabbed us another salesman. Accord had TPMS light on, some other warning light and one of the headlights was out. You could see new seam sealer in the trunk which says the accidents were a little more than a bump. Car was otherwise straight and I was still interested, just not at the price they were asking. This second salesman says that was the non negotiable price. I handed him back the key expecting he would do what a good salesman would do, ask questions and see how they could help me on this car or something else. I got silence. He let 2 possible sales walk out the door. A friend warned me of his similar experience but I learned for myself. Went down to Jay Wolffe drove. Camry and has a complete opposite experience. read more

I went to purchase a new 2021 Ford F150 Platinum, listed online for a sales price of $59,020.00(I have time stamped proof of this price). After my test drive, I informed the sales rep that I wanted to purchase the vehicle. 15 minutes later I'm heading back to the dealership with my trade in. I get a call from the sales rep saying they've made a "mistake" and now the vehicle price is $62,500.00. A FULL $3500 more than the advertised website price. I'm not an attorney, but feel this clearly breaks Missouri's Bait and Switch laws. I spoke to the sales manager - Mike - and requested they honor the advertised price. Mike was not willing to offer any help. In fact, he told me they were under no obligation to honor any price listed online or on the lot. I will never step foot on this dealership again and would suggest anyone looking for a square deal do the same. read more

I've had multiple issues with their service department. First I paid over $500 for them to install a back up camera, the camera is only working about 85% of the time, I have taken it back 3 different times and they haven't been able to diagnose the problem. Their latest proposal was to charge me by the hour to continue their diagnostic, of course I wouldn't agree to that still have the same issue. Latest problem with this dealership was when I took my truck in for service and fuel filter change they said I needed new batteries so I authorized that. When I picked the truck up the check engine light was on I was told to give it some time and it should go off. It didn't so out of frustration I took the truck else where and the problem was quickly resolved. read more

Done with Bo. Step back into the 70's but without the "customer is King attitude" from that era. I've been servicing my vehicle for several years there with OK service, but nothing outstanding. Brought my wife's vehicle in for service last week with promise of an oil change being completed by 2:30 in the afternoon. Dropped off in the a.m., and arrived at 2:20 for pick up. Vehicle was in same spot as drop off and they had not even started the job. No apology, no "can we reschedule", no "sorry for the trouble, we will take a few bucks off next service." The guy just said, "here is your key," and we walked out! Also, over the past year I have experienced problems with Sync in my F150. Always asked if there was a software update, etc. to see if it would help. "NOPE," is what I was repeatedly told. This month Bluetooth totally failed and I ended up calling the Ford support phone number......... Oh my, there have been multiple updates that have not been installed. I downloaded firmware, uploaded in the USB port and problems solved. Lastly, you want to see your service records online? Nope, this dealership does not report to Ford Owners online. Stuck in the 1970's and I am done! read more

Horrible experiences...plural. Bought car in late Nov. no battery in extra key. Told to come back to get fixed but parts is only open until 630. Fine. 1st problems in the middle of Dec with windows rolling down randomly and not being able to close on passenger side. Bring in it on my day off. Told it is fixed. Approximately 4 weeks later same window problems and windshield nozzle now having problems. Try to make an appointment; no loaners available until Feb 8. Have the original and extended warranties. Was told GM would have to approve of fixing of problems or I'd be on the hook for all of the parts and labor. Just picked up car today Feb 14. Got a bill for $180+ and another $16+ for the battery on extra key. Will never use this dealership and want to warn others about experiences. Buyer beware. read more

I'm always skeptical about salespeople because the nature of their job is to win. I took two months looking for my Tealman (the name of my car) . I searched for the features I wanted and pricing was key. My financing was completed before going in, so I really didn't want to hear a lot of this and that. Bowtie was the Man. I expect my salesperson to be courteous, have personality and know their stuff. Well he got all of that correct. He didn't know that I spent soo much time looking into the car and provided all information accurately and I even learned something. What I like was he kept it straight and was up front about my questions, concerns and disappointment (My China (trade in car) was worth nothing)... It was late on Saturday so I drove Tealman home for the weekend and had to go back Monday to finalize the paperwork.
