I went in for preventive maintenance, and they ended up recommending additional condition-based services. When I asked for the total cost, I was told it would be $733. However, when it was time to pay, the total came out to $1,365. When I questioned the difference, they told me that the $733 was only for replacing the rear brakes. Sales and Service- salesman was a joke when negotiating our purchase of a new accord. Was not budging on window price citi g these things sell themselves. lol Service- $69 Oil change/tire rotation coupon. Did not rotate tires and $64 labor charge with $11 parts charge and $34 parts and "other" charge. Didn't get a courtesy wash and they didn't even reset the oil change reminder correctly. Vidmar Honda has the best customer service and the kindest service department. I had a really low tire right at closing time and the phone operator called the Service Manager and he told me to bring it in. I was just around the corner but he could have said no. He and his technician found a bolt and said they could do the repair in the morning. They let me wait in their lobby till my husband could pick me up. They definitely went above and beyond what one would expect and I am forever grateful and definitely will continue to do business here. read more

I changed the battery in my Honda and it activated the anti theft system. I tried everything that I could find online to no avail. I called Vidmar to talk to a mechanic for some help but the receptionist doesn't even let you speak to anyone who knows something. "Tow it too us so we can hook it up to our computer and reprogram it". I explain to her that I can't tow it to her when I can't put it into neutral, coukd I please talk to a mechanic? After getting up early and driving 124 miles from home in southern rural Colorado, I had an appointment for an oil change for my son's car (since he lives in a city and uses public transportation). The two women in the service bay could benefit from customer service training. The elderly woman who was checking me in, took the liberty of getting into the glove box to retrieve the owners manual, dumped everything on the floor and left it there. She also kept cutting me off when I tried to speak. There was some confusion about the vehicle's mileage, and the other woman with the long dark hair commented within earshot range "well, she would know if she can read the sticker on the window" referring to me, with a very snarky tone. I told her I could hear her talking about me since I was standing right there, and explained this isnt my car. Long story short, I left without getting my oil changed. Thankfully, since this appointment took up my entire day, Mike Maroone Honda in Colorado Springs was able to accommodate my appointment the same day. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I just bought a new 2022 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring from Vidmar Honda. We live in Gering, NE which is 4 or 5 hours from Pueblo, CO. and our local Honda shop just did not have any inventory. I called Vidmar Honda and talked with Mike and Mark, negotiated a price and approximate delivery date. I would call every couple of weeks for updates which they were on top of. Car arrived I paid MSRP plus Doc fee of around $570, got Honda financing at 2.3%, and out the door I went. Staff was professional, explained the tax (being an out of state buyer), most of all no hidden fees or markups. Good, Decent, Honest, folks that treat you well. Car technician Samantha should be avoided if you value professional service and time management. Worst service I've ever received. She will argue with you and she will never be wrong since she's a "car tech". Arguing in front of other clients and being rude are her fortes. Be careful if you don't know how insurance works with repairs because she will accuse you of Insurance Fraud (actual experience) in front of everyone with no evidence. Everyone else is lovely at Vidmar. You will have a great experience if you avoid her at all cost. One person can make a difference. read more

Made an appointment they say two hours wait I say ok, I patient wait almost 2 hours and paid regular service price like everyone else. thinking they would do a good work just to install accessory on car but it turn out the next day sticker was not stick ( maybe they did not clean before put on) and they also don't align it right to put in holding pin so pin pop out. I would give Vidmar Zero Stars, but Yelp makes you put a minimum of 1. My Ford Escape was purchased *from Vidmar* several years ago. I have been away for the last several years, but thought it would be ok to have some basic repairs done by them now that I'm in town. Due to delays in parts and scheduling their tech, I had to leave my car with them for nearly two weeks. I left the car with a half tank of gas and it was returned to me on Empty. They half fixed the ignition issue. The car now immediately shuts itself off when coming to a sudden stop. Like coming off the freeway. And the evap issue - they did not fix, reset the Check Engine light, charged me $300+ and sent me on my way. A couple weeks later the check engine light was back on. I promptly brought it back in to Vidmar service and Samantha, the rude and argumentative checkin person had the nerve to accuse me of having gotten in an accident; that the check engine light was on for the SAME ISSUE I had dropped it off for in a couple weeks previously - and she claimed I had somehow damaged the car. I told them to refund the previous $300+ spent on the previous visit... and they were now asking for over $1200...in repair fees. I declined the work and went to the local Ford dealer. The Ford dealer was prompt and courteous...and actually fixed the issue. Both of my parents have Hondas - and I've watched them bring their cars into Vidmar for the last decade; usually requiring a secondary visit - because the first time they would bring their car in, the issue would not be fixed - then upon bringing it in a second time - it was always MUCH more expensive and there were usually several things the techs claimed they'd "missed" the first time. Don't make the same mistake that I (or my family) did. Vidmar techs are incompetent and their customer service is non existent. They've got some kind of racket going on within their service department. I tried to bring this up with the owner and he was not in the office both times. Very disappointing. read more

This place is a rip off!!! A couple weeks ago we brought in mine and my sisters cars. Both for an oil change and one for a brake light issue. We waited there for three and half hours and had to keep checking in on our cars. When we were able to finally flag down one of the girls about our cars she said that my sisters car needed a special part and that it won't be in for a few days and apologized for how long we had to wait for the oil changes. She said she gave the oil changes to us for free. When we went back the next week to get my sisters car back they not only went against their word about the oil change being free but her brake light now keeps coming off! We returned the car today and they claim that the brake light coming out is not their responsibility to fix and wants to charge us to pop it back in!! They are the only place here that works on VW's and were the only ones that worked on it! This place is shady and treat their customers like crap! We will never be back again! read more

Absolutely the best customer service from any car dealership I've ever been too. I was in a very vulnerable position moving from California to Colorado. I had moved up to Colorado to start a new life for my family and I. I got a good job working for a local water district and had my Honda Civic Hybrid to make the commute. Well my Honda has stalled on me one day and coded: "Electronic Charging System fail" I was able to start the car and hobble it into Vidmar Honda. I was introduced first to Alexus Griego, who out the gate was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable of the ins and outs of Honda parts and warranties. I had known about the California Emissions Warranty on green vehicles and knew it would cover this system issue but didn't know how it would help me here in Colorado. Alexus and her team took the ball and got to Work immediately! I had to take the next day off to wait for my vehicle diagnostic and to relax. They kept me in the loop the whole time with updates, and cost expectations so I was not surprised. The part was my intelligent inverter system, a $2,000 part with about $1,000 labor cost. She assured me she would be in touch with her District manager to see if they could find some way to use the California Emissions Warranty to spare me a lot of the cost. With her persistence and diligence she had made all of the calls, all of the paper work, arranged for a loaner car for me, and got my cost down to $600! Now I could do that! Overall the team over at Vidmar Honda provided me with some of the best customer service I could expect going above and beyond! Bob Sanchez only requested my continued business and didn't expect anything else in return. Well I have to let everyone in the Pueblo area, or passerby's, that if they ever have any issues with their Honda to GO TO VIDMAR for the best service, best price, and best people in my experience. It was a headache buying a car from this place. 6 years ago when I got my first lease, it wasnt as bad. There is a high turnover there and the salesman I dealt with had very little customer service skills. They acted like we were inconveniencing them by purchasing a car. We also waited for longer than acceptable with very little apologies. While we were waiting with no accurate time given to us, nothing was offered. No drinks or anything. I also had to go back the next day because they didn't thoroughly check the finance options and told me the original wanted a cosigner or 10% down, which I did not want to do. I live in Gresham, OR (about 1,400 miles from Vidmar Motor Company.) When I was looking for a specific model, trim, and color, through a car search website Vidmar was the closest dealer to me that had it on their lot. After communicating back and forth with Mike Baer primarily by email for several days, my wife and I decided to fly to Pueblo (actually flew to Denver then drove a rental car from there) and buy the car. Larry Miles took great care of us, and you couldn't ask for a nicer person. He made sure that the car I wound up buying was what I really wanted. Then, he and another gentleman whose name escapes me at the moment (sorry!) gave me an actual hands-on walk through of all the advanced features that my car has. Before I knew it we were on our way home! Larry even called to check up on us during our road trip home, and reemphasized that he was there for us should we need his help with anything. Some friends of mine think it was a bit nutty to travel so far to buy a car and then rack up 1,400 miles on it driving it home. But I have NO regrets. I enjoyed it! If I could give a zero star rating I would. The owner or a relative (last name was Vidmar) emailed me back after I inquired about a certain vehicle and I don't believe I have ever received a more rude email. My daughter went down to the dealership to ask about a car and was told her credit score was 100 points lower than it actually is and they wouldn't show the score to her. I'm sure that was so they could try to say her credit wasn't that good when she actually has above average credit and charge her a high interest rate. Run, don't walk from this place. Rude staff and sketchy practices. Mr. Vidmar, my daughter got a great deal from Front Range Honda in Colorado Springs - the deal you stated she could never possibly get from anyone. Stop taking advantage of people whom you think don't know anything about the car business. We're all more intelligent than you think. read more

I went to Vidmar a couple of weeks ago to inquire about purchasing my car since my lease was about to end. The salesman I first encountered, Ed Mastreno, was very personable and helpful. However, that was not the case when I encountered Kristi Biggers in the Finance department. Kristi was exceptionally rude and her practices were not ethical. She gave me a credit score over 75 points lower than it actually was and refused to let me see a copy of my score. She then proceeded to accuse me of "illegally" obtaining a copy from previous dealerships that I have worked with. When trying to talk to her about interest rates, she would not explain why I did not qualify for a lower percentage and told my boyfriend to "stop interrupting" on more than one occasion. She then became very pushy and told me that I need to decide now because she "has other people to get to." I would AVOID Vidmar Honda at ALL costs. They are extremely unethical and very rude. It is worth a trip to Colorado Springs to avoid dealing with this immoral and dishonest dealership. read more

About two years ago, I took my Honda to Vidmar due to an airbag recall. They put my phone number in their system. Since, they have called me once or twice a month with promos and/or what services they think my car needs! I am on the National Do Not Call list and their back-door tactics are basically illegal, especially because I have asked them at least six times to stop. A week or two passes and I get another call! The 2014 Honda Ridgeline we purchased from Vidmar in December 2014 lost a patch of paint off its front bumper. We stopped in and spoke to Bob Sanchez. He concurred that it was a defect in the paint job and arranged for us to leave the vehicle for your outside body shop to fix. Since we live in Lamar and the vehicle would have to be in for work at least 2 days we whined that we would need some type of transportation. Patiently Bob listened and said he would arrange for us to get a vehicle. The plan was to bring the Ridgeline in early Monday, February 1. As you know, dire reports of weather came on the horizon for the time period. On Saturday I was thinking we would have to delay the appointment. My husband called the dealership who got in touch with Bob via his cell phone. Bob managed to get the loaner vehicle available on Saturday (if we could get there by noon). We arrived, he took us to Enterprise for the vehicle and we were off. On Wednesday afternoon the service department called to say the Ridgeline would be ready by 3:30. I arrived at the dealership, dropped off the loaner and got our Ridgeline back in pristine condition with the inside also cleaned. Seldom if ever have we received such excellent service. Bob did a tremendous job for us and we thank you for stellar service and help we have received from Vidmar. So far I am NOT impressed. Our car broke down over the holiday (we think it's the timing chain). Honda said they would call after they looked at it. My husband called them before 4 this afternoon and was told that the supervisor stepped out for half an hour and she would call us back because she had the estimate. I waited until 4:45 and called back. I spoke to Monica, who said, " The mechanic was just now putting the estimate together and i'll call you back in a few minutes." I asked if she would for sure call me back before they left for the night and she assured me she would. Not knowing what the service hours are, I called back at 6:30. Yep, you guessed it, the service department was closed. They close at 5:30. The sales department closes at 7:00. However, when I called, I got caught in the perpetual voicemail loop. " Thank you for calling, blah, blah...all incoming lines are busy right now. Press 1 for parts. Press 3 for service...blah blah..." I pressed 3 and another message told me the service department closed @ 5:30 and transferred me back to the main number. Which again told me all lines were busy and I could leave a message after the beep. But you never get a beep. Just the message, then the line rings 3-4 more times and you get the same message. Over and over! So, my issue? 1. The first guy should not have told my husband that Monica would call us back with the estimate if it wasn't ready. He should have been honest. I don't think they even looked at our car until we called (5 hours later!)! 2. Monica should not have lied to me and said the mechanic was "just now" putting the estimate together and that she would call me back before they left for the night. She could have just said the estimate wouldn't be ready until morning. I would of been fine with that. I mean seriously. Why lie? Just be honest. Now I'm afraid they're going to really screw us on the work. I mean if you can't be honest about a call back, what are they going to do with an estimate? I will update my review and let you know what happens. But right now, I'm not impressed with the customer service from the service department. UPDATE: This morning Monica told me they were going to recommend that we replace the whole engine. My husband spoke to the mechanic and asked what sort of diagnostic tests had he run. The mechanic said he didn't run full diagnostics bc it involved taking the front off, blah, blah. So they recommended we replace THE WHOLE ENGINE WITHOUT DIAGNOSTIC TESTING? Who does that? They assumed that the engine needed to be replaced without asking us what happened. I drove the car to the store and when I left, my car wouldn't start. It didn't die while I was driving it at a high (or low) speed. It just coughed a few times in the parking lot and died. No check engine light had come on before that. We've had oil changes every 3-5k miles and used synthetic oil. Never have we had any other engine issues. When my husband did tell the mechanic that, he said, " oh I didn't know that. Yeah, it's probably the timing chain then." Come on people. I hope I don't regret not taking it to the Springs! read more

$90 to investigate a supposed electrical issue with the light over my license plate that turned out to be a light bulb.

If I could leave less stars I would. This dealership DOES NOT want to sell cars. My daughter and her fiancé were ready to buy. They had the money in hand for a 2015 Honda Fit. I started the research and found the perfect car for what I thought was the perfect price. (through TrueCar.com) I had my "certificate" and called to speak to the recommended dealer. Mike Baer, manager of internet sales, immediately told me that the car was not actually priced at what TrueCar said. He proceeded to explain that "accessories had been added to the car" and "they could not possibly put the price of every car they have on TrueCar.com. TrueCar clearly states that these things must be disclosed on the price certificate. After several hours of waiting for a call back, I finally spoke to the owner, Derek Vidmar. He explained that $545 worth of accessories had been added to the car and "that someone forgot to update the 'TrueCar' page". He offered to split the difference. It was more about principle at that point. Needless to say-they still have the 2015 Honda Fit EX in white. Ralph Schomp Honda, on the other hand, has one less 2015 Fit in their inventory, I have a happy daughter and we got it for $1191 less than we would have gotten it from Vidmar! read more
