My husband did get a lentil dish (not sure which one) which was the best out of the tree we ordered. Overall we were disappointed as Nalan had a very high Yelp rating (probably because of its nicer interior--cute wall with a word cloud of food) but the food itself was underwhelming. Deep fried nuggets of chicken covered in spices. For the main course we had butter chicken, chicken vindaloo, and palak paneer. We got them medium and they were spicey! I think the paneer was surprisingly the hottest but it was delicious. The vindaloo was very good as well. It had a stronger clove flavor than I'm used to but I really enjoyed it. There were bones in the chicken, which I don't mind, but I know some people do. The butter chicken was also very good and no bones. If you like Indian food this unassuming place is definitely worth checking out.

The soap is refilled in an old hand sanitizer bottle. The roll of toilet paper was cut in half to make two toilet paper rolls. Then they have the nerve to charge me $46 for 2 people to leave still hungry. Hungry because nothing gets refilled and I'm not eating just rice and sauce. Literally everything is done here to screw you while saving them the most amount of money possible. I'm calling and reporting the lack of cleanliness to the state on Monday.
