Ordered easily on a large tablet screen off to the left, they were out of a few items since it was late night (understandable). Ordered an OG chicken sandwich with fries, an OG chicken taco and an OG chicken slider. We are pansies when it comes to spice, so were looking forward to some crispy chicken, but purposefully didn't order the spicy versions. We then proceeded to wait, and wait......and wait. I'm a pretty reasonable person for wait times, but it was us and one other couple, and it took 47 minutes from our order confirmation that was emailed to us from when we were handed our food. Regardless, we were excited to dive in! Disappointed that they forgot the chicken taco, asked about it, and he said they were out, so asked if it could be replaced with another chicken slider and fries, which he said yes, but another 5-8 min wait (fine). The bun on the chicken sandwich was a delightful brioche, and the chicken was crispy, but my gosh it was SO SPICY. Our friends ordered the spicy chicken on purpose, and even they were dying. The chicken slider was also made very spicy, but there Hawaiian King roll it was served on was really good. Our 'replacement taco' slider was now ready, only to see it was just a tender, and it didn't include fries. Waited 5 more minutes, and received literally 6 fries in a box. Total wait time of over one hour. Just overall disppointed that our order wasn't correct for multiple reasons, replacements did not quite make up for it, and the wait time time was unreasonable for what we ordered and the amount of customers. 2 stars for the good bread and everything was served fresh and (temperature) hot! Hopefully Secret Hot Chicken can figure out their timing, whether it's cooking or staff related. I would personally not come back unless I ordered ahead on Toast Tab and had a confirmation it was ready, and would check my food for accuracy before leaving.

But now that I've had Double Dub's in my life all other wings are nothing compared to them. The wings are perfectly cooked and dripping with sauce. Big juicy wings that there are plenty of meat on so you don't feel like you're not getting what you paid for. Service is always super fast, and I appreciate that they give you pagers so you don't have to keep track of when your food is supposed to be done or be standing around waiting but the truck. I like that they stuck with the theme throughout the naming of their sauces, the different meals that are offered, and the decor of their truck. The staff has always been super nice and helpful for answering questions. Also this is the only establishment I've found where I will order the fries every single time over the tater tots. I've had their tater tots and they're perfectly good tater tots, but Double Dub's does something to their fries that makes me want to get a job there just to know how they're made and seasoned. I dream of both their wings and fries, and I may have a new final last meal now that I've discovered the wonder that is Double Dub's.

It's in a great location right off the highway by the Public Market. I was greeted immediately by the bartender and a server very quickly came to seat me and supplied me with menus and water while I waited for my friend. He came back immediately when she got there to greet us and see if we needed anything right away. We ordered margaritas and a few appetizers. Shortly after, we ordered dinners. We had biscuits and fried green tomatoes, and we each ordered a different type of spicy chicken sandwich. We both really liked our food. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was really good and the biscuits were soo good!! The fried green tomatoes were just so-so, but I don't have much to compare it to. Our margaritas were very tasty. The server was fantastic. He was very friendly and attentive, but not over the top. He asked if we wanted more drinks or dessert. We did get another round of drinks.
