I made a point of stating that we wanted our entrees to come after we had finished our appetizers (sadly, that's something you have to specify in some restaurants, and it still doesn't always help) and she took good care of us. The manager stopped by to ask how everything was, and I expressed my concerns. He listened attentively, and said he would pass them on to the kitchen. Hopefully they will take note.
