Best pita chips & hummus combo that I've had up here so far in Atlanta. I also quite enjoyed the lamb meatball pita and Chicken and Right Rice. For the record in regards to that Chicken and Right Rice bowl, I customized it with: brown rice super greens, crazy feta, red pepper hummus (regular hummus is good too), half grill chicken, half felafel, tomato+onions (tomato+cucumber is a good substitute), pickled onions, Persian cucumbers, kalamata olives, yogurt dill, tzatziki, greek vinaigrette. This location needs to retrain their staff on the online orders. I placed an online order and it was completely botched, several ingredients missing - lamb meatballs, tomatoes and the serving options were so small. The bowl was halfway versus being to the brim as usual. They forgot my two drinks I ordered as well and didnt adjust my price of my meal for the lack of lamb and two drinks. So disappointing! I usually go to the Sandy Springs location but they weren't accepting online orders at this point. First time at this Cava. And I can tell you, the staff was cool to me. My friend had never had Cava so I wanted him to have the whole experience. The staff was patient w. Him when he asked questions and was helpful. When another person came in line, another staff member came to assist. The other customer was patient too since it was my friend first time. 5/5 for service. At the end, He ended up liking Cava and will definitely return back! I ordered the garlicky chicken shawarma and it was so good. I ordered extra sauce but it was my fault for not asking for more rice in the beginning. Knowing I love sauces. I have passed through Cava but never planned on trying it until this fortunate day. A quick heads up, I chose to Uber Eats it to my residence. The Bite: I love a good Falafel, so I ordered A falafel Crunch Bowl and a Chicken + Rice Bowl. Both orders were quite similar except for the protein source. The vegetables were very fresh and crunchy. The dressings and the meze were soo good, hummus, tzatziki, and skhug were very flavourful and creamy. The chicken was succulent, and the falafel was crisp. The Harissa was a flavor bomb too, but it was a little too spicy for my liking. Loved the crispy pita chips that added an extra crunch to the bowl. The bowl came with a side of pita, which unfortunately was too dry. Travel proof or not: The takeout package was quite sturdy; it keeps together. My issue with most food deliveries that involve salads and crisps is that they usually lose their texture and freshness by the time they arrive, but somehow that wasn't the case with CAVA. Extra Sauce: In my opinion, Cava is quite reasonable; the portion is sufficient for an adult. Their menu is extensive, which can be slightly overwhelming. First time visiting this Cava location & it was just as busy as when it first opened. Although there was a line Sam that was at the cashier greeted us with a warm smile as we waited in line to order. When we finally got to the cashier to pay for our food the young man Sam was still smiling, very friendly & made small talk as he rung up both our foods. When we got over to the drink area I realized there was no ice in the machine & I went back to the register to let Sam know & he kindly said he "I will get right on that for you guys", turned to his coworker to let her know he was stepping away & he went somewhere to get ice and came back very quickly so we could be on our way. I was very impressed with Sam because although some workers may look overwhelmed when their lines are long or when customers are asking for assistance Sam was smiling the entire time and looked genuinely happy to be at work and to assist his customers. I was also impressed with Sam's communication with his coworker because instead of just walking away from the register or asking another coworker to get the ice he communicated with her well and I noticed the other worker got on the cashier while Sam was refilling the ice machine. Although it was not a quick order & go experience just due to the restaurant being busy which is a great thing to see it was a friendly at ease atmosphere & experience due to Sam providing exceptional customer experience. read more

CAVA is often hyped as delicious and worth trying, but one consistent issue I've encountered at several CAVA locations in Atlanta, particularly the Perimeter location, is the poor customer service. When you walk into a restaurant, a warm greeting goes a long way--especially since staff don't know if it's your first time visiting. Unfortunately, the workers at this location often seem to have a negative attitude. Asking a simple question feels like an inconvenience to them, as if you should already know the menu. Good customer service is about more than just serving food. It's about being knowledgeable, courteous, and providing an overall pleasant experience. At this location, the staff consistently appear unhappy, and if you ask them to create a bowl, they give very small portions. If you request more, their reactions are visibly negative. Dining out should be a positive experience, with good food and great service. When customer service is lacking, it makes customers hesitant to return. As good as CAVA's food may be, something needs to change in their customer service training--especially at this location. Just showing up is not enough; customers want to feel like they're valued. I usually like Cava but today I saw something so gross at the Perimeter location that I feel I have to write a negative review. A woman ahead of me ordered brown rice, but then said she thought it looked dry. She wanted to touch the rice in her bowl to see if it was dry. She stuck her fingers in the bowl, felt the rice, declared it was too dry, and told the guy behind the counter she wanted white rice instead. I was shocked and disgusted to see the guy throw the fingered rice back into the pot! Gross! Disgusting! I went ahead and ordered my meal but I'm really feeling like I want to throw it out. I wonder what other gross things they are doing there behind the scenes. Somebody really needs to train the employees at this location about food hygiene. As someone who picks up from this location once or twice a month, I'm pretty surprised at the rating. I usually order on the app, and have never had an issue with my order. The few times I've ordered at the counter have gone well too. Quick service, they get it right, store inside is clean. And of course the flavor of the food is top notch in fast food/fast casual. Everyone raves about CAVA so much that when we found out there was one nearby, my friends decided that they wanted to try it out. Think: Mediterranean Chipotle. There's an assembly of options to choose to make your bowl, plus pitas that you can have. There's also pre-made options to choose from. I had no idea what I would like so one of the employees suggested what her favorite combination was. I chose to get steak and I added rice, a tzatziki sauce, lettuce, and veggies. It was almost a salad. It was very filling and it tasted good, but I wasn't wowed especially for the price I paid. It was over $15 which I couldn't see spending on a regular basis. There's also some house made lemonade options and different types of sodas to choose from, so not your regular Pepsi or Coke products. I love this Cava location & it's staff! First, Cliff & his staff are amazing! They are always so nice and courteous while paying attention to details when it comes to my order, every single time! I visit the location often and Cliff and his staff are always so attentive to all my request for my bowls. They are always made to perfection! Second - this location is always so clean. The stations are always prepped so nicely and full! I never see any messes & the staff is quick to restock / make sure that all the napkins, utensils and drinks are filled! Doesn't matter what time of the day it is! Cleanliness is a big deal for me and this location hits it on the mark! Lastly, Cliff & his staff are FAST. There's usually a lunch rush sometimes, but other than that, they usually usually take care of the lines quickly without mistakes to orders. 10/10, thanks for all you do Cliff! Please keep it up. I don't frequent Cava as often as some people, but when I decided to go here yesterday, I decided that I wanted something healthy. I had just had a good workout. I go and I order the harissa steak bowl which was almost $20 with the drink. I ended up having to wait until the steak was finished being prepared. Once I got my bowl I got my drink and headed out only to get home and find hair in my food. In 2025 as expensive as things are to find hair in your food tells me that nobody is being strict on the employees about food preparation and the proper way to handle food. I was starving and had taken medication which required me to take with food and had to go all the way back to the store and get my money refunded and figure out what I was going to eat. I was disgusted. And sadly, there were so many customers in there ordering food and I wanted to yell to the top of my lungs "Don't eat here". No one should ever have this experience when spending their money in a restaurant. I'm glad I pay attention the way that I do otherwise this could have made someone physically sick. This location was empty around peak dinner time, which probably should have been an indicator of what was to come. Regardless I went in and began to order. I got a bowl with grains, the server gave me half a spoon of lentil and rice. When I asked for some more they added a few more grains of rice and probably a teaspoon of lentil. It didn't stop here, they were extremely stingy with all the salad items, dips, and protein as well. Less than half the bowl was filled up by the time I was ready to pay. I eat at Cava a lot & this by far is the worst location that I have visited. The food is delicious but the service here is not the best. Although there may be a long line out the door, there is NO sense of urgency by the workers. Therefore, you are in line for most of your allotted lunch time. Don't think about visiting this location on Sundays. They are usually running out of all their ingredients because they seem to not have mastered their projected supply quantities to last them until the next truck delivery. Also, the portion sizes are significantly less than other locations. Almost always, I am charged for a bowl that is half-filled. Poorly managed location at 1165 Perimeter Center W Ste 340, Atlanta, GA 30338. One positive is the gentleman who made our pickup order apologized for it being 15 min late. He put the order on the counter for the team working the front line and then walked from the kitchen to bring it out to us because the woman working the front did not hand us the order after he told her twice our meal was ready. The manager may need to evaluate their staffing model as there was a consistent long line the 30 mins while we waited. Several people rightfully complained about the small portions. I would have as well but didn't want to cause further delay for others waiting to get their small portions. After repeated issues at this location, they'll be two less of us in line. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect when we went to CAVA in the Perimeter area in late September. They hadn't been open all that long when we went, and it sure showed! This CAVA location is in a strip mall, and parking is always available in this free lot shared by many other small businesses. When we walked in, there was a short line which got longer as time went on, and stayed long the entire time we were there, even though I noticed some people in line got tired of waiting and just left without ordering. I don't think the employees were well trained. Yes, they were nice, but they lacked knowledge on how they could be efficient and didn't show that customer service was high on their task list. Some of the employees lacked knowledge of some items on their menu. We got to the front of the line after a while, and the employee just looked at us, then walked away without saying anything, which I thought was very odd. Apparently, he went to get a few little bins of ingredients from the back so that he could refill/replace the bins that were on the serving line, but that still left us standing there at the beginning of a long line just standing there without anyone taking our order. After a couple of minutes, someone else came to take our orders. However, this restaurant was new to us, so we had to ask what we needed to do. Similar to other fast food style build-your-own bowl, CAVA lets customers build either a bowl or a pita, or lets customers select a set chef-curated bowl (with all of the ingredients already set so that the employees just add to a bowl everything that goes into it). If customers choose to build a bowl of their own, they just select a base, a protein, dips, spreads, dressings and toppings. During my efforts to build a bowl, I asked the employees (there were three employees who took their turns building my bowl) what each ingredient was, and, most of the times, they couldn't tell me what anything tasted like (you know, like it's spicy, or vinegary, or mild, or crunchy ... they didn't know many of the items they were serving up). Unfortunately, I picked a lot of items that were on the vinegary side, and I couldn't finish the bowl. The store was mostly clean. There were ample amounts of available tables and chairs, both inside and just outside the windows. The tables inside were spread out and allowed customers to practice social distancing. If I come back to this location, it'll be a while. At least the price of the bowl I built was reasonable. read more

CAVA fills that Mediterranean food gap that I have been seeking in the Perimeter area. The set-up of CAVA is similar to the look of Chipotle-- you build your bowl as you go down the line. You have 5 main things to choose: your base(s), your protein(s), your dips/spreads, your toppings, and then your dressings. They have a good selection of bases, from salad, to grains, to pita. I usually go for the salad base for a healthier option. My go-to protein is the spicy lamb meatball or grilled chicken. The dips I add are tzatziki (greek yoguyrt with shredded cucumber and some spices), harissa (a spicy spread made from tomatoes and peppers), and hummus (chickpeas pureed with tahini, lemon juice, fresh garlic, and kosher salt). I love the toppings area-- there are so many to choose from, such as: lettuce, onions, cabbage, cucumber, crumbled feta, pita crisps (LOVE IT FOR TEXTURE!), olives, and more! I love to add the cucumbers, feta, avacado, tomato+cucumber salad. All great and healthy options too, but still SO filling. Lastly, for the dressing I like the lemon herb tahini and hot harissa vinaigrette! I will say, the few times I went during the lunch hour, they do not have the greatest of logistics for taking on a huge line. The line probably starts around 12 and stays long with quite the wait.
