First time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and it was good overall. The restaurant was very clean, airy, and bright. The girl at the counter was friendly and helpful. The chicken is made to order, but it only took about 5 minutes. It was lunch, so I got the 1 slider with fries meal, which was a perfect size. At $10 it was a fine price. The piece of chicken was pretty big and it comes with pickles and a kale coleslaw on it. Definitely a filling meal. I was kind of a whimp and only went with medium, which didn't have really any kick to it at all. I should have atleast went with hot to get the flavor I was hoping for. The fries were tasty - crinkle cut with a cajun seasoning on them. They also offer you their Dave's sauce and honey. I put some honey on the chicken, although it didn't really need it since mine wasn't very hot. Overall, solid chicken sandwich. The breading was a little thick and because it was dipped in the sauce, it wasn't super crispy, but it wasn't soggy at all. I'll definitely want to try it again and at least go for hot sauce to get that kick you expect in a hot chicken sandwich.

Restaurant was very noisy as the ceilings were high, the music was loud and as an employee was wiping tables he was slamming the chairs into the table. The fries were delicious, my mild chicken seasoning was just right. Didn't care for the sauce and had no use for the bread. Yep, two slices of white bread. No butter or honey. My daughter liked her Mac and cheese, hubby liked his mild chicken. The chicken and fries were nice and hot, but we did have to wait 16 minutes for our food. Also, since when do you get taxed for take out? We weren't asked if we were eating in, which we planned to do and did do, but everything was packaged to go. The food was expensive and mediocre overall, won't be

The restaurant looks amazing and full of color, but thats about it. I feel like my chicken was kinda bland even tho I got medium heat. The store just opened so I'll check back in after a few months

Waited thirty minutes for a slider combo. It was 5pm with mostly empty store. Seems like they were only doing door dash orders

The guy at the register was very helpful with the menu and suggestions. They were quick to make our food and we enjoyed it there. They make smashburger style meat for their burgers and it was nicely seasoned. The texture was on the dry side though. The buns and toppings were great. There fries were also very nice, crunchy, and spiced well. This is mostly a carry-out joint, but they have a couple of tables inside to eat at. Overall, nice place for lunch.

But whoever is grilling the burgers at the other location is who is keeping me coming back. Other than that, other location is farther from me, it's worth a drive. What I really like about this place is the fresh meat and the disclaimer about the meats and how it's prepare. Well, I didn't like this time around is at the meat lacked seasoning, and the meat did not have that crispy edge or the juiciness in comparison to the other location. Unfortunately, I will not be back to this location unless I'm really thirsty for a good burger. If this is your first time at this location, then yes it's delicious. It's one of the best burgers in Cleveland. If you visit the other location first you're definitely gonna be disappointed when you go to this one.

I consistently recommend MoMo's as the best Cleveland Heights dining experience even considering…read moreall the other dining gems in the city. My former Moroccan colleague recommended this restaurant to me years ago, and I frequently enjoy eating here. MoMo's is a heartwarming immersion into Moroccan culture and cuisine. It always fills my belly and my soul. AMBIANCE: Open space dining room with a Moroccan flair - tagines, Moroccan arches, ornate plates, and camels. Your party can take a sit at one of the tables or nooks. Nooks have blankets and pillows for ultimate relaxation. Lighting is pleasantly dim with a few Moroccan lanterns overhead. The restaurant is usually pleasantly quiet. FOOD: The menu is very simple yet features the most delicious Moroccan dishes. The restaurant caters well to vegetarians and vegans, my friend used to join me for dinners (she's vegan). I prefer to order tagine (Moroccan stew) with lamb ($23) and Moroccan tea ($5 for a teapot, refillable). The two most perfectly combine. Moroccan stew is served in tagine. The meal includes a tasty salad and bread. Stew includes generous pieces of lamb, potatoes, and carrots. The stew is always so hearty. Moroccan tea is so delicious. It's a combination of green tea, mint tea, and sugar. Momo pours it in the most interesting and theatrical way. A must drink and see. The tea is served in a traditional tea pot. You'll sip it from an ornate glass. It's always perfectly steeped. The restaurant is alcohol free. SERVICE: Chef Mohammed (Momo) takes the time to socialize with guests and is incredibly welcoming. Momo shared that his dream is to retire in Morocco and live mountainside among the olive trees. So, you'll really feel the love for Morocco and learn about the culture. The service is just incredible! I highly recommend MoMo's for solo diners, couples, and groups. It provides a unique dining experience unlike any others in the city. Stop in for a hearty tagine and warm atmosphere!

The door is wonky though...super heavy and opens weird. They have a lot of different options and premade bowls. For someone who is not very familiar with Indian food, this place makes it easy to customize and try out stuff. Nothing was too spicy or too overspiced, thankfully. Everything tasted relatively fresh but the portions are too small for the price. It's not like at Chipotle or Cilantro where they fill up your bowl. I almost never finish my portion in one sitting but I had no problem doing so here. I wish there were more veggie toppings and not just pickled ones. Scallions and cilantro would be great options to have. The mango lassi was delicious but so small. The inside is high ceilinged, spacious and has plenty of seating. The big group bench in the middle had such heavy and had awkward block seats. They were hard to get in and out of and were so uncomfortable.

Everyone loved the food and the flavors were so satisfying. The real tandoors behind the see-through glass were eye catching. Being able to see my food being cooked was very satisfying. The servers were very sweet, made great recommendations and were very patient with my very chaotic family. My only issue with this place is the unisex restrooms. Men absolutely mess up the restrooms and women bear the brunt of it. Petition to go back to restrooms specific to the sexes.

I'm glad to report that Jerusalem Food Imports (JFI) falls in the latter category. Hungry for Mediterranean food and having tried all the other local destinations, I gave JFI a try. Boy, am I glad I did. JFI is a specialty market with a kitchen on the left side with a full takeout menu. No space for seating, but I'm working from home, so I was just doing a buy and fly anyway. I was in a chicken shwarma mood, so I ordered one. If you can't tell by the picture, it is monstrous. It looked like they used about a pound of chicken when preparing it. Add in a side of fries (which I didn't know came with it and really didn't want) for $5.99, and you have enough for two meals unless you're extremely hungry. Ate half and saving the other for dinner. It's much tastier than comparable sandwiches (specifically Ghossain's), with the requisite picked veggies and tahini sauce. They also had a complete selection of meat pies, chicken pies and spinach pies. I picked up a spinach pie for $1.99 for later. I also picked up a pint sized tabbouleh for $5.99, where competitors charge $4.99 for 8 ounces. I did try some of it and it's very tasty and fresh. I look forward to trying some kibbeh and hummus next time. K'nafa practically next door is good too. But if you're looking for a lot of food at a tremendous value, give JFI a try. The gentlemen working there couldn't have been nicer, and even offered to include some water without asking. I hope to get the word out on this hidden gem. Give them a try if you like Mediterranean food.
