This is the only fast casual place I will cross the city of Worcester for. The consistency between DHC locations has not failed me yet, and they do fried chicken extremely well. Fried chicken is like ginger ale: easy to do, but hard to do really well. I did get a reaper slider on one of my visits, and I can assure you it is straight fire. You will feel it again the next day. Good food, good service, and nice ambiance. I got the Dave's #2 which is 2 sliders (basically chicken sandwiches, these things aren't small) and fries. Sliders have pickles inside, but extra pickles are offered on the side. Also comes with plenty of sauce. I also paid extra for some cheese. These sliders were crispy and juicy, but the sauce definitely was the star. Fries were also well seasoned. Service was fine and the restaurant itself was clean. Box is messy when they gave it to us but that's fine; taste above all. Hot is pretty hot so I'd recommend nothing above hot unless you're wild like that. read more

My nephew asked me to take him here. When we got there, the line was out the door and I questioned him to whether or not we were at some hookah bar because of how chill the place looked. The artwork on the walls were so vibrant & beautiful, and made me feel so excited, waiting in line. The staff was quick and friendly. The food was amazing. One of my favorite fast food chicken sandwiches I have had. The cheese sauce is to die for . The slushies were on POINT. I would come back here over and over again. I was on a long, late ride home. I stopped at the plaza to stretch my legs. I happened to notice DHC and decided to try it out this time. It looked like business was doing well. ... a good sign. I ordered 10 pc. Dave's Bites w/ Fries, medium spice, $12.99, PickUp, via Yelp/Grubhub. There was a slight bit of confusion while claiming my order because I wasn't sure how my name would appear on the ticket. I liked the unique and original decor. The chicken was dry and much worse since they got bought out and the meals don't come with a drink when they are like $15. The lines were long and it took me a while to actually get my food. The area is in a nice spot which is the only positive thing I can say about this. read more

This place is decent. It's definitely very busy so it might take a hot minute to receive your food. However they have a tv screen that shows the status of your order so that's cool. When I got my food, I noticed that the packaging was a bit messy- sauce was smeared on the outside of the containers and the bag. Also, the tables inside weren't wiped clean Lol, there was grease and crumbs all over where we sat. The food is not bad. Fries were probably the best part because they are nice and crispy and seasoned. The fries are good with the sauce they provide. The chicken in my opinion was a bit over-seasoned; very salty. It is good for the first few bites but then I felt like if I kept eating I was going to get high blood pressure haha. Mac and cheese was pretty good, it tasted like KFC Mac and cheese. Ngl, I had heart burn after I ate here so if you are prone to that like I am, beware. I must say, for an American chain their spice levels are on par with what I would expect to be spicy. With some other places, their "spicy" just doesn't cut it. So, if you are craving something spicy, super unhealthy, greasy, and high sodium, this place is for you. read more

I've ordered from here maybe 5 times. I love the food. It really is fantastic. I've dined in and the ambiance is nice and the restaurant has been clean. Sometimes doordash and uber orders can take a bit of time but overall I love Dave's. My only reason for it not being 5 stars is the price is a little steep depending on what you get. read more

Food was very good for a fast food place. We got one slider combo meal and a two slider combo, order of Mac and cheese and kale slaw with two drinks $50. That's very excessive and sky high good, definitely not worth $50 for slightly better Wendy's chicken. read more

It's not bad for fast food chicken. The various options were good. I ordered online for pickup, so all I had to do was drive over and get it. Staff was nice as far as I could tell for the 30 seconds I was in there. I unfortunately found the chicken to be to salty for my taste. read more

What a nightmare! Ordered 1 hour in advance. 8:45pm. Grubhub said it was ready for pickup at 9:54. I arrived at 10:00 and they had no record of it. I showed them the order, payment confirmation and notification that the order was ready for pick up. They had no record of it. I called GrubHub and nobody picked up. They had to do the order again so i got charged twice and I had to wait another 30 minutes. So GrubHub needs to reimburse me and explain why they said it was ready. I gave them a second chance a few weeks after the wild wait times of their opening weekend. It seems a lot has improved since then. I did a takeout order and it was ready right on time when I went to pick it up. Chicken was hot and fresh. Staff was super friendly! The portions are BIG, haha.
