Tilapia with spicy rice, cheese fries, wings
    Kim L.

Everything my family and I ordered was just okay. We got cheese fries, white fish with spicy rice, and wings. The cheese fries and the rice were more than what we thought we'd get and quite tasty. The fried fish and the chicken however were really bland. The breading on both the chicken and the fish had no seasoning so it just fell short despite looking and smelling good. The other thing is that we had ordered wings ONLY, but what we got had ZERO wings in it (as you can tell by the box). Since we already got made it home, it wasn't like we could've just asked them and figured out if it was a mistake. We also got the world's smallest gyro. I wasn't aware of when we ordered how small it would be, but that at least tasted good. On the brighter side, the people were really nice and the service was good. No complaints there. Overall, I'd probably just come back for the fries and more likely the gyro. I'd give the fried chicken and fish another shot if they actually seasoned the breading.

    Chicken kabob and spicy rice

Wooooweeeee, I get the hype. This is some GOOD fried chicken! I'm from the South and have pretty high expectations. This exceeded them! The mashed potatoes were average, and the Mac was alright. Rolls are just simple ones, nothing fancy. But DAMN that chicken makes up for it. Seasoned beautifully- the kind where you can taste it in there, with each bite. It's a light and crispy skin, more similar to KFC than the thicker more crunch Popeyes. It came out piping hot. That first crunch was worthy of a Mukbang video. Just absolutely delicious. The kabob was also good, but nothing extraordinary. Didn't like the chewy Oreo cake (it's probably old), but the Tres Leches was alright. Aside from that, I'm already craving this chicken again. Only thing missing was some fresh sweet tea ;)

Great fried chicken joint. Way better than kfc, which is just down the street. My go-to for fried chickens.

It's the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed but still excited for the meal ahead. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. As for the food, I ordered the quarter pound lobster roll, and it was absolutely outstanding. The lobster was fresh, tender, and generously portioned, with flavors that were rich yet beautifully balanced. Every bite was satisfying. Overall, this restaurant delivers on all fronts: atmosphere, service, and quality. I'd happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal!

Honestly very heavy and was glad I split the one size they had with a friend. It would have been too much. There was a little layer of oil on top too. The Faux Fiz mocktail I got was good. However, a lot of "spices". I ended up requesting more ginger beer and lime to cut it. That helped. But overall good quality drink. The Atlantic salmon crudo was very interesting. Nothing close to what I expected. It was gross. Really thick salmon over globs of a black garlic aioli. The ratio was so off. It was so pasty. I am shocked they haven't reviewed that item on their menu. Usually crudos are so nice and light. This was not. The wild Spanish octopus was the better of the three dishes. Just needed some more salt. Or more of the chorizo would have sufficed. I was surprised that this place was nothing like it used to be. Will not be back :(

Our waitress was pleasant and prompt throughout our dinner. On our first visit my co-diner ordered the fried scallops, and thought they were very tasty. So, on this visit we ordered: * 2 - Fried Scallop Baskets (one with regular fries, the other with sweet potato fries) * Chicken Wings Side with BBQ Sauce Our order arrived quite quickly, and I immediately sampled a sweet potato fry. Tasty! Hot, crispy, and nicely cooked. The same could be said for the regular fries. It's unfortunate so many restaurants are French fried challenged, with fries that are served too cool and limp. Kudos to Juicy Seafood for great fries. The scallops were also tasty, with or without the bread crumbs (which come off very easily). They were fresh tasting, very hot and very juicy. However, the chicken wings were not good, they were overcooked, overloaded with sauce and difficult to eat. I wouldn't recommend those. Overall, we were happy with our dinner and would be delighted to return.

We love seafood, and I'm often in the mood for high quality fried seafood in particular. The seafood is fresh, not greasy, cooked perfectly, and complemented by great sides. I'm not an oyster person but.. I couldn't resist trying them and they are excellent! Tuna tartare topping recommended. Fisherman's platter- HUGE and tasty! I tried this to sample several dishes at once. I almost always finish my food and I took half of this home! I did have a pre-meal and some oysters but still.. Crab cakes- big and really fresh crab forward! Unlike so many other places, any breading stays in the background. Lobster roll- great brioche roll and plenty of lobster meat. This happened after they gave our 12 oysters to the wrong table then took 18 more minutes to reshuch 12 oysters. I got a fish sandwich. There was just some crumbled pieces of fish on it. Meanwhile other tables got the fish and chips and it was over flowing with fish. I don't get it. Wife got the lobster roll, it was just ok, the roll was soggy so she just ate the lobster. The glasses of wine are insanely priced. My daughter got a ceasar salad that had mostly white romaine, the grilled chicken was bland and dry. The best thing they made was the tuna tar tar, ironically. Then to top off a not great 200.00 experience for 2 people, it took the waitress 15 more minutes to bother to come back and run the card. Maybe drinks and apps on the deck only. Very dissapointing. Lesson learned which I knew... don't get seafood so far from the coast.

When are they busy you ask? Any Friday during Lent is bonkers. One lady complained she was waiting over an hour after she ordered. Another customer explained it's Lent that's why it's busy. She was perplexed at how that should impact her as she does not observe Lent. Witness ordered at 3pm and asked for it to be ready at 5:30. Being late and arriving at 5:42 some thermal loss was to be anticipated. The food was in fact ready and very hot. Impressive. Witness was in and out in under 5 minutes. Flying solo, only one item was ordered, fried shrimp plate. There were plenty of fries and shrimp. So much so that the to go box had to be taped shut. Both the fries and the shrimp had a similar taste that was imparted by the oil. Not a bad taste, just unexpected and distracting. The shrimp had another flavor in the batter that was unexpected, familiar, and unwelcome. As it turns out, the shrimp appear to have been coated in mustard aioli before being breaded. While this kept the shrimp super moist, the mustard flavor is very unexpected and Witness could not get past the wild juxtaposition. The provided cocktail sauce was over run with hot sauce. The star is meant to be the horse radish but this one is about Tabasco. The spicy factor switched all the way to the smack you in the face flavor and added a watery consistency and creating a thin condiment. Last having been here 6-7 years ago, this repeat business has been a long time coming. Unfortunately, Witness will need to move on to another shop this Lent.
