Decided to finally try this place after noticing its opening months ago! Food - honestly I was very surprised at the taste of both wings. I think if I had to change anything I would've ordered boneless for my garlic honey wings, and probably would've not got the secret sauce (it wasn't very complementary and the chicken didn't need it). If you do order the garlic honey wings expect INTENSE garlic flavor, I truly love garlic so this was a dream. The wings are also super crunchy, mine were not noticeably greasy in taste/texture either. For the golden original boneless you kind of get a sense of oh this is greasy since there's no sauce to really cover it up, but they were just as crunchy. I recommend the pickled radish as a palate cleanser, it really helped when the garlic was super overpowering. I cannot really comment on ambiance or service as we ordered online and did pick-up. I ordered the fried dumplings, honey garlic wings, & the Caribbean spice bowl. I started with the bowl--super crispy chicken with a nice kick & a huge portion. Next were the honey garlic wings, which were insanely crispy, almost candied, with great flavor. The potstickers also definitely hit the spot. The new bright red building in town caught my attention so I had to give it a try. The place is spacious but weirdly only has 4 tables. I tried their Honey Garlic boneless wings and Gangnam Style boneless wings. Both tasted delicious. Perfectly juicy and well seasoned. I really like the Gangnam style sauce, it was pepper based with a little kick from garlic and onions. I've had bb.q Chicken which serves up crunchy Korean style fried chicken, wings, sandwiches, other Asian & Korean food selections, milk tea drinks, and cooler drinks. The prices are moderate. The place is order at the counter or at the touchscreen or online. I stopped by recently and the place was slightly busy. I ordered at the touchscreen, entering my phone number for points. I ordered two items, totalling just over $27. My order took about 30 minutes to be ready since food is prepared to order & fried to order. Kpop was blasting over the speakers. The 8 pc Galbi Boneless Wings ($13 plus tax) with side of chopped radish were crispy and tender smothered in a sweet & spicy sesame sauce with green onion. The Ddeok-Bokki ($12.95 plus tax), a classic Korean street food made from soft rice cakes and fish cakes in a sweet and spicy chili reduction, hard boiled egg half on the side. Second time getting take out- we don't live near by so we drove 15 min your of our way in a snow storm for this chicken! The chicken here is just sooooo good. I love bbq chicken and was so excited that a location has opened relatively close to us. The soy garlic chicken is scrumptious. I wish they gave more pickled radishes with each order. I would say the chicken here rivals my favorite which is Don chicken, and the radish is not quite up to par but still tasty. My boyfriend LOVES this place and would give it 5 stars but personally, this is a 4 star for me- good but not impeccable! Perhaps the best dish is the rose tteokbukki and if you add cheese it's an additional $2 but you definitely need the cheese. The rice cakes are bouncy and chewy. The sauce is creamy, not too spicy, and flavorful. I do wish it was a bit more spicy but at least everyone can enjoy it. The portion size is also pretty good; if you are only eating the tteokbukki as a side dish to the chicken it can easily be shared by three people. The wings are crispy but I personally don't really like the two flavors we got. Specifically, I had high hopes for the cheesling wings but it was EXTREMELY sweet which I hated. I thought the sweetness would just be a hint but it was like the whole flavor profile. The soy garlic wings were also a bit too sweet for me. My boyfriend loves the soy garlic wings tho and craves it sometimes. The kimchi fried rice is also pretty good. I think it's worth it to add cheese. I wanted it to be a bit more spicy though. Please beware that the wait times are pretty long- I suggest ordering online and then arriving an hour later. It takes at LEAST 30 minutes for the food to be ready but it's also a popular spot so the kitchen must be swamped. It also might be best to go takeout because there's only like 3 tables inside.
