Do not go to this dentist office. The front desk provides the worst customer service--patients are treated like they should feel privileged to be there, when in reality, it's the office that needs the business. Completely unprofessional and unaccommodating. I have insurance they don't accept, so I've had my exams, x-rays, and major work done elsewhere, but I came here for cleanings because the hygienist is excellent. After booking weeks in advance, they had me drive all the way in only to refuse to see me unless I paid for another exam with their doctor. This was nothing more than a bait-and-switch money grab. On top of that, they only called me 15 minutes before my appointment--far too late to avoid wasting my time. And to make matters worse, I've seen them offer incentives for patients to leave positive reviews, which explains why the ratings don't match the reality. I could never run my own practice this way. Unprofessional, disappointing, and dishonest. Save yourself the frustration and do not go here. read more

I have been patient of Dr. Littlefield 3-4 years. He is damn expensive. Lately, I noticed that my crown was chipped from the bottom after cleaning. It happened before also that my filling came out after cleaning. When I brought this to the doctor. He became very aggressive. I was in the Military and he is definitely better than the service I received with the Navy. Staff was very kind and professional, but when littlefield came to review my X-rays he missed 3-4 crucial things. 2 fractures on past zirconia restorations that later caused me trouble. One missed root canal from my last dentist. Had I known this when I went there, my condition would not have progressed to the point that it did. And one class 5 cavity on my tooth number 5 my premolar. It's crucial that healthcare providers address all issues present regardless of how much it will cost and how complicated treatment will be. Other than that they were nice, but deeper issues may be glossed over at this office. I was experiencing tooth pain all week and called to see if I could be seen. Dr. Littlefield's office fit me on the next day. Thank goodness! The night before my visit my toothache was severe. I ended up needing a root canal which they did during the same appointment even though several staff had to stay late to finish it up. Wanted to wait a few weeks before submitting this review to ensure no issues with my crowns. I was referred out into town by the VA and after doing my research, I decided to go with Dr. Littlefield, even when referred to others by some of my friends and a few from Nextdoor Eastlake. Process was pretty easy, come early on first visit to fill out all the paperwork, then to the back. I needed to two crowns in the back, one on top of the other. Dr. Littlefield discussed the procedures, then got right too. First time in the chair was fast for two temp crowns. No need to grind as the first fitting was on point. He discussed the materials to be used and since these are way in the back and my main chompers, we went with the strong material. A few weeks later, I came in to get the permanent crowns put in. Fast, easy and painless....Fit again was on point and feeling real good. No problems with my new crowns. My family of 3 initially visited Dr. Littlefield's Dentistry on 1/8/22 for our routine cleaning, exam & x-rays. I discovered Dr. Littlefield's practice through my insurance website and sought the opinion of a friends' dental experience for referral. My family was pleasantly satisfied with their experience as I was too. We all shared how each of our hygienist was courteous, professional and competent. My hygienist was Nicky, whom I immediately found to be personable and proficient. Her demeanor alone made my visit an enjoyable process. The entire visit from check-in to check-out was a seamless transition with quality patient care from beginning to end. My family and I decided to schedule our next follow up cleaning/exam. In addition, I returned on 1/10/22 to have a previously chipped tooth repaired by Dr. Littlefield. I was in for my appointment yesterday for oral surgery and as always I was a little nervous not my first time. As soon as I walked in Dr. Littlefield walked out and said hi we will try and get you out by 5PM mind you it was just 1PM as he was walking past he said just kidding. Awesome experience! Clinic is clean. I was filled with anxiety coming here; but that all went away when I arrived.

We recently moved to the area, so I was looking for a new dentist. We tried out another dentist, but felt like they were just trying to get us to do unnecessary dental work done, including extra cleanings. I decided to try out Dr. Littlefield for a second opinion. The receptionist was very helpful and was able to get me an appointment quickly, even offering to waive the full X-ray fee if needed. Dr. Littlefield was very kind and authentic and took time to review my medical chart and look at my X-rays and ask me questions. He also seemed to have a good sense of humor, which put me at ease. He was able to do a quick fix on one of my teeth that was hurting, instead of recommending a crown and said he wouldn't want to do one unless absolutely necessary. Ohmygoodness!!! My Sister is a dentist so when she moved from our hometown San Bernardino to central Ca i could no longer use her as my dentist. I thought I'd never find a superior dentist & staff ever again! I am at my age and with a sister an outstanding dentist, extremely picky! I have had many other dents here in San Diego but never wrote a review! From the receptionist to the dental hygienist, to Dr Littlefield the entire team was absolutely outstanding! So personable, professional, gentle and skilled each of them are! They did an outstanding job individually. For instance the receptionist was very warm and inviting professional & efficient! The dental hygienist was very careful efficient and did an outstanding, genitalia job doing my teeth cleaning. But in addition to that she talked just enough to be personable and warm and kind. The same could be said for Dr Littlefield who did an outstanding job on my teeth! He was of course superior in the job he did on my teeth. He is extremely personable, and talks just enough to make a great connection with his patients. But what was even more outstanding with the fact that they all worked SO incredibly seamlessly together as a team including the Dental hygienist that assisted Dr Littlefield! Everything was well prepared & it was like they had a mind reading thing going on they were so great together!
