Very disappointed in the service provided which included an angry shuttle driver and lack of diagnosis for our vehicle. I can't even understand the logic given when they had our Ram truck for 4 days, were unable to diagnose the issue even though it exhibited the issue when we brought it to them. We were still charged a diagnostic fee despite there was no answer and we had to pay the shuttle privately for a 2 mile drive. So sad since this dealership has great reviews and I know many who have suggested them. I had to give at least 1 star, but honestly, no stars. We had used David's for oil changes and new tires for nearly two years and had average experiences. Our most recent visit changed this. Our car had been in good running condition, but less than 24 hours after our oil change, the check engine light kept coming on. We read our manual and had hoped it would go away. It didn't. We eventually took it back in on a Tuesday morning. It was a routine drop off and they asked if I would stay and wait. I chose not to, but after they were willing to ask me this question I was hopeful it wouldn't be a long visit. It was long though and with no communication. Tuesday ended and we hadn't heard anything. My husband had to call. They hadn't looked at it. Wednesday came and was nearly gone when my husband had to once again call to find out what was going on. $1,000 + we found the repairs would be! Red flags !! No communication and even more importantly how did our car go from no problems to having over a thousand dollar issue after being in their hands (remember the oil change visit I wrote about). We were both pretty upset and ready to give up on them if they didn't step up. Would they apologize for the lack of communication? Would they explain what was taking so long or why they didn't give us a heads up it would be such a long wait? Perhaps explain why the check engine light came on after it was in their hands and then tell us we would have to pay the $1,000 + ? I finally called to get answers from the service manager. I was done with the guy who was our contact for this visit. I was told the manager was in a meeting, so I asked if he was in with a customer. He wasn't with a customer, but someone internally. I then asked to talk to him. I was demanding at this point because we had been patient for too long, without answers. After getting the run around I finally got the chance to talk to the manager. The manager was friendly and gave me hope that I would have answers, and wheels! We had family to pick up at the airport that Thursday and had to have a car! He told us on Wednesday that we could come in and borrow a car. My husband did just that Thursday morning. There were four people waiting for a car and two available. Even though the people working the counter weren't expecting my husband (not sure why) he thankfully got a car. Our car was finished that day. We paid the thousand dollar bill. In the end we never did get any explanation or an apology. It's not the fall that we remember, it's the rise after the fall you remember. David's didn't rise up and therefore how can we move forward when trust is broken? All they needed to do to save our business and an ugly rating was to communicate. This is the first time I have owned a Jeep, or service my Wrangler at any Jeep Store. I choose to use David Dodge because after viewing the local Dodge dealers websites, this particular auto store's website was complete month in and month out. I even was able to use the 15% discount in the parts department found on Yelp when I checked in. This morning, at 7:45am, I arrived to the service department and David, the service writer, was the first person to say hello to me. I informed him of my issues and he stated to me that he would handle it promptly. I sat in their amazing waiting area with free Wi-Fi and coffee. The store was super clean and everyone was so nice. I said to myself, I might just come back just so I can feel good again. In parts, Jim offered me some information I did not know about the Wranglers since I purchase the car used from a Lexus store. I purchased a tool kit that allows me to take the top off any time I wanted. The price for it is $25.00.. Also, Jason, one the managers, help me use the Wi-Fi that is only available for the staff, since the customer service Wi-Fi was down. He didn't hesitate to help me at all, which allowed me to get some work done as I waited. All in all, it was a tremendous experience to have my car serviced here. I have two jeeps there In two day with appointments Each vehicle over 4 hours of waiting outside Yesterday dropped of for 2 pm appointment and was early- not completed until 653pm - on top of that the oil indicator not reset, car not wiped down inside, volume was on full blast. Several times I went to get my car ans it wasn't done and at outside waiting forever. Today drop one off for a 1 pm appointment and it's now 4:56pm and it's still not done. Not to mention they told us we should have received a wheel lock key when we purchased this last year and never got one ans they want to charge us for a wheel lock key we never received! We leased 1 vehicle and purchased 3 from this dealership. Service is on a rapid decline- time for some changes. And during this mandatory mask time most of your staff has masks not covering their noses or under their chin. People in waiting rooms not wearing them and sales staff had masks under their chins. Hence why I sat outside as I didn't feel safe sitting I side for such a long time with people not wearing masks or not wearing them correctly. read more

I purchased my car brand new from this dealership and have had nothing but problems since I got it. My car literally cuts off randomly twice on the interstate on me with my kids in the car. The first year I got it it had to be serviced twice the first time they told me it was nothing second time it happened they claim they replaced my fuel pump 6 months later happened AGAIN shut off on me. They put it thru the warranty again and was denied because they lied and said they had already replaced it and they didn't so the warranty company came to check and finally agreed to replace it. Now here I am again shut down on the interstate and the repair shop tells me this part only last 2-3 years and they have had multiple problems with it so now it's being recalled which I wasn't informed. 4 times for the same problem putting me and my children in danger this place is HORRIBLE! You just don't know it yet. Yeah, I've seen a Stalker, and that sure sounds like something from a Stalker. These guys are relentless. On the other hand, I've dealt with some other people who were nice. one place they sold the car that I was looking to get between the time I could get there. They told me at the end of July they'd have more cars and they suggested to that they did have it stopped, and I might be interested in. But that is as far as it went. After I told no thanks. BUYER BE WARE!!! I have never dealt with some snakes in all my life of buying cars. My experience started off pretty good, until I ran into some issues pertaining to this new 2021 Dodge Durango that I bought from here! The truck if it was inspected correctly, they would have caught the issue before allowing a buyer to buy the truck and have to take it back. I let them know that the truck's front left fender was crooked, was told to bring it back in to correct it, only to find out that the truck was damaged elsewhere and not what it was brought in for! It gets better from here, I dropped the Durango off and not only did they give me a Pacifica, which wouldn't have been an issue if it didn't SMELL, was DIRTY, covered in ANIMAL HAIR and other people's belongings left in it and let's not forget that the windows were DIRTY as well! Since I was driving, I never got in the back until my kids got in the car and then got out of it, because it was so nasty back there!! Just Gross!! Dropped the truck off on a Monday and they said it would be ready pick-up on Thursday, received a call on Thursday, stating that my truck was ready for pick-up, only to get there and be told that they called the wrong customer to come pick up there vehicle. Yes I was very upset!! I called them to let them know that I wanted to change out the loner for a different vehicle, because the dirty one they gave me just wouldn't do! I wanted to speak to the sales manager, who happened to be a Mr. Chuck Marlin. Not only was this guy rude, but he was VERY dismissive and that was just wrong! ESPECIALLY, since I spent a lot of money and Chuck Marlin was treating me like this???? Well apparently he didn't want to hear what I had to say, because he came over to me looking disinterested, barely listened to what I had to say and although I was upset, I wasn't disrespectful to good Ole' Chuck Marlin. This man had the audacity to say nothing, not a word about this situation, no discount, no words of encouragement and oh yeah, NO APOLOGY whatsoever. I purchased a used car there 2 years ago. I had issues with the brakes almost immediately after purchase which resulted in multiple trips to the service department, some of which were because of errors made by the technicians....with the brakes. I brought my car in today for service because of abnormalities with the way the car was shifting. I was initially told it wasn't going to be looked at today (after the car had sat there all day) despite the fact that I had made an appointment over 2 weeks ago. THEN the called back to tell me that they did look at it, and that it was going to cost $800 to repair. After telling it me it was going to be covered by the extended warranty I was talked into purchasing (by the person at the dealership) when I financed the car, the service advisor told me that I was over my mileage. Do NOT get your vehicle serviced here EVER! Like most franchise dealerships this dealership and service shop runs on malicious and shady practices. As you can confirm with other reviews, other people have had the same or similar issues happen with their cars over the course of them using this dealership. My girlfriend came here to get diagnostics check on her Chrysler Pacifica. They found that a previous repair on some wiring was done incorrectly and a new AGS and AGS connector were required. $1600 job. I have a mechanic I trust and use, so we declined stating that she needed her car and could not have it kept overnight. Days later her car started smoking from under the hood. The coolant tank was EMPTY and a crack was found in the radiator. There was a hole made. Go through the other reviews and you will see that others have had the same thing happen. They damaged her car, and it could have caused irreversible damage, potentially totaling her car, if she had been on the road. Not to mention the amount of danger she would have been in with an overheating car. Multiple reviewers have also stated that they are now regular customers here because whenever one thing is fixed, soon after another thing needs fixing. These people put my girlfriend's life in danger, cost us extra money all because we did not want to have them fix the car. Scumbags. Please find a trusted mechanic no matter what type of vehicle you have. I will be contacting the BBB. DD diagnosed the heater core is bad. Took for a second opinion, cabin air filter was the original. So they wanted to replace a part that was fully functional for $1475. Glad we got a 2nd opinion and was charged $25. DD and the people there are crooked! They have now lost her business too! read more

Thanks to them I lost my lifetime powertrain warranty because I was never informed of a specific service that had to be performed at a specific time. We scheduled an appointment to see the one Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT in stock (STOCKC19115VIN1C4RJFDJ9KC629445). Appointment was for June 1, 2019 at 9:30. Drove an hour to get there and were immediately told that the vehicle sold late the night before and was gone. The salesperson didn't even have to look it up. The vehicle is still listed on their website for sale. If it was true that it sold then someone should have called us to cancel. What a waste of out time! So, the story begins by the heat wasn't working in my grand Cherokee. You start the car the air would run and then cut off. Took it to this shop David Dodge to have it looked at. They gave us free diagnostic to look into our issue great. When I went to pick up the car they wouldn't give a printout so I could understand which piece and what actually went wrong with my car. They wouldn't even let me see the screen so I could have a better understand of what they were talking about.... Didn't have the money or time to give them my car for 4 days while they ordered in parts to fix the issue right away. They got an attitude because I asked for a printout to better understand what pieces malfunction had then they got mad they couldn't keep the car to fix it. Sorry, I don't have a stash of money and a private chauffeur to wheel me around. Instead of taking to another place to get fixed against better judgement I took it back, because they said they kept all of the diagnostic information in the computer for easy look up and replace. They replaced the initial parts of the car and then some. I got a phone call saying they found my rear turn signal wasn't working (Which wasn't true), and that they had replaced it along with the other car issue and I could pick it up any time.... Okay fair enough, you replaced a bulb, while doing heating and cooling work... why were they even looking into my lights idk. Went to pick up the car and there was an additional charge for the bulb replacement. First off you told me you replaced the bulb you did not ask if I wanted the bulb replaced, and then second off the bulb didn't even need replacing. The bulb that they left sitting in the cup hold still worked was nothing wrong with it.... Morale of my story be careful because they will definitely will try to take advantage of you, that's how I felt after my last experience here. What a great experience! I knew what I wanted already and did some internet communication with three dealers. David was the furthest from me but the first to respond and gave the best price off the bat. There was no surprises and the dealer has a good vibe to it. Dave Manning was my sales person. Very laid back, no pressure and very transparent. Utterly Disgusted. Let me start off by saying, I never used to go to the dealer for service. I only buy cars from dealerships, although one would think that their service department would be experts in the items that they sell... they obviously are not. I have read thru the reviews on here (and I should have done this BEFORE having service performed...but, live and learn...) and noticed that people are raving about the dealership from a SALES point of view... not a SERVICE. ... here is my experience why and how I agree 100% now... My partner and I have had our vehicles serviced from this particular establishment for over 2 years for me... and over 4 for him. Always minor things, oil change, brakes, tires, etc...normal wear/tear items. Service really cant be fouled up much with these (...shudder to think...), but when we took one of our vehicles in because of a busted A/C unit., it became the beginning of the end of our relationship with this place. First of all, they have the vehicle for 3 days to repair a part for $1900+. They were kind enough to give him a loaner car (2015 Chrysler 200... nice car ... oh, remember this! They provided the loaner...). We get the call that it is repaired and return back to collect his vehicle. As we drive home, the A/C is working exactly the same as it did when we brought it in. Of course, at this point, it is after hours and there is no one there to attempt to explain why this is happening. We make the call the next day to explain that repairs were not properly performed, and they ask us to bring it back. This time, they again provide us with another loaner vehicle (2015 Charger...again, nice car...). BOTH TIMES, all we had to do is sign the paperwork that we were taking the loaner car. A few days later, we get a call stating that they needed to order another part... an additional $325+. QUESTION #1 - WHY WASN'T THIS REPAIRED INITIALLY WITH THE $1900 VISIT?? No reply... no explanation. They proceed to order the part they need and install it. Six days later, we get a call that the truck is repaired and we go in to pick it up. "... that will be $325+ plus the cost of the rental of the Charger." Wait...What?? WHAT?!? There was never a mention of a cost for the loaner car?? The first time our vehicle was brought in, we received a car at no cost. QUESTION #2 - WHY ARE YOU NOW CHARGING FOR A LOANER CAR AFTER WE JUST DROPPED OVER $2,200+ FOR SERVICE THAT WAS NEVER CORRECTLY PERFORMED?? The paperwork we signed DID NOT have any daily rates for the usage of the vehicle. "Just return it with the same amount of gas as you took it out with..." That's all that was told to us. Not, "...there is a daily charge for the usage of a loaner vehicle... " ESPECIALLY, SINCE WE WERE NEVER CHARGED FOR THE FIRST LOANER!! Again... no reply, no explanation. So... this dealership has now lost not one... not two... but as many people that i can share this review with to warn them of the service department and their horrible maintenance policies. read more
