Usually, I don't write bad reviews, but I am very hurt and disrespected by the front desk workers and this person that calls himself manager. VERY unprofessional in their job. I have no complaints about the dentist, Aida Sahakian. She is great, and she knows what she is doing. I got a call from this lady from the front desk demanding a payment on a tooth that is not complete, yet I understand I missed appointments and couldn't reschedule for about a year. I don't write yelp reviews. I've only written one because I was asked to. Im writing this one because it I'm blown away with the work they did on my teeth and my over all experience. Let me be clear. I dread the dentist. Or at least I used to. All the dentists I used to go to prior to Sahakian DDS had always been an experience where I'd honestly dread the mere thought of having to visit. Even if it was just a cleaning I know I'd have to endure some sort of pain involving an instrument hitting a nerve only to involuntarily make me Jostle out of my seat. Upon my 4th or 5th visit to Sahakian DDS I was informed that I'd have to have 6 route canals done/redone all at one time. Hand over heart...my experience was painless. Zero. Nothing. Even when she has to administer a shot of novocaine it was painless. The previous dentist I had would grab and pull the side of my face. And seriously stick me with that needle nearly having my eyes bulge out of my head. She administered a couple of shots without causing me any pain. Next came the 6 route canals that i slept through simply Because I was tired from work. And NOT ONCE did she hit a nerve or cause me any type of pain as I slept through the procedure. I wish I had her as my dentist before. It would've saved me years of painful drilling, and having to endure the hellish pain of one of the nerve endings in my tooth getting poked at with a sharp instrument. I cant think of a single reason why I'd ever have to think about changing my dentist for any reason. And her staff only consists of people who are the most qualified, knowledgeable, and professional. I had some work done on my teeth recently. For the last 10 years plus i couldn't smile in a single photo. Now i can. And it's strictly Because of her and her incredibly qualified staff. If you're looking for a new dentist you'd be insane not to give her office a visit. Don't make the mistake visiting another dentist. To Dr. Sahakian and her incredible staff. Thank you so much. I had an amazing experience every single time. Which as everyone knows is quite difficult to find in any office let alone a dentist's office. The receptionists are incredibly nice and help you with everything before even going to the office to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible. My first few appointments I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Aida and she is so nice explained everything that needed to be done and did everything so fast! The next appointments I was with Dr Laura and same way explained everything walked me through all my options and was extremely patient with me. I think I'm finally ready to settle down with one dental office, I've found the one! I think I'm on my fourth visit and it's always a pleasure. Friendly appointment reminders the day before via text message. Love that detail. Friendly and easy check in. Never waited more than 10 minutes to be examined. I believe today was my first cleaning with Dr. Laura P. The prior done by Dr. Aida. Seamless transition with these two...efficient, thorough, professional...shall I continue? Haha They got the skilled hands that make for a gentle but effective cleaning. I don't have an anxiety issues when it comes to dental work or pain of that nature but if you do, I think this might be the office for you too. I had to provide an update with my experience with Dr. Laura Pogosyan. It comes without surprise that Dr. Pogosyan is just an incredible as Dr. Sahakian. She is so gentle and makes sure you are comfortable throughout the entirety of your treatment. Even more importantly for someone with a busy schedule like myself, she is very efficient! My appointment was at 4:00 p.m. and I was finished with my cleaning and was out of the office by 4:30 p.m. My waiting time in the front prior to being seen was less than 5 minutes (AMAZING!). I called about a month ago looking to book an appointment at this place. I gave them my insurance info. I have a PPO in my general health insurance but unbeknownst to me at the time my dental plan was an HMO. But the receptionist after I gave her my insurance info said they were in network and set me up with an appointment. Normally when a doctors office sets you up with an appointment I would believe that means an appointment is expected but apparently I was wrong. I called earlier today to check on the status of the appointment and they said they can't see me and I have to make an appointment at another dentist. Confused, I asked why the receptionist I called a month ago and gave my insurance info to said they took my insurance and made an appointment. Why on earth would you schedule an appointment with someone who you can't see as a patient? The receptionist never gave me a straight answer on this and repeated that I had an HMO and couldn't see them. I called my insurance and verified it, but considering the fact that I literally gave the insurance info to the last receptionist she should have TOLD ME they couldn't see me so that way I wouldn't have wasted my time making an appointment for a dentist I can't see. Edit: oh looks like they replied to me. While yes it was true I was mistaken and did think I had a PPO instead of an HMO, I DID give the receptionist I initially called my full insurance number. It's not my fault she didn't check it and see that it wasn't a PPO. That's why I gave her the group # and member ID. She should have been able to look it up and see that it was in fact not a PPO and could have told me. This whole thing could have been avoided if the first receptionist did her job properly looked up the plan and informed me she couldn't schedule the appointment read more

The thought that this dentist has had thousands of patients gives me peace of mind. Dr. Sahakian recently started on a root canals and tooth extraction process. She works so fast I didn't get a chance to 'get scared'. She is charasmatic and definitely knows her work. The office staff is polite and professional. Update: Have been back to Dr Aida's office a few times for various dental work. The most recent was two days ago after I had a very old crown fail while I was chewing gum. I called in and they booked me a same-day appointment for 1:30 in the afternoon. Showed up to find all the usual staff are there, happy and full of smiles. I didn't wait long at all before Dr Aida had me all fixed up. Although she's always busy, she never seems over-booked.
