My family has been seen by Dr. Lester and his staff since 2000 and it has been wonderful. Although he is located 14 miles away, his honesty and services are wonderful. We used 2-3 other dentists nearby, but they were recommending unnecessary procedures (e.g., tooth extraction, new crowns, new fillings) with high co-pays when we had PPO. Dr. Lester would ask the typical questions: 1 - Does it bother you? 2 - How does it bother you? 3 - Is it painful? 4 - When is it painful? 5 - Others These questions allows you to participate in the process and determine if it is necessary. Best dentist I've ever been to. Got to my 4pm appointment at 3:58pm and they immediately greeted me and took me to the room. Lora was incredibly nice, she and Dr Lester took the time to explain the difference in sealants and fillings that I have. When I pointed out I had some jaw pain and thought it was a cavity, they were able to explain it was actually due to jaw clenching which is why my tongue is shaped a certain way. I've never heard any of this from previous dentists and left feeling well informed. Done in 45 min! Ive never been a huge fan of going to the dentist but this experience changed that. read more

I am a new patient of Dr. Lester and have never been happier with a dentist. After a bad experience with a dentist and cancer treatment last year, I was in desperate need of dental work. I already had a partial on my upper teeth but had more missing and loose teeth. Dr. Lester put me at ease and said "let's get started". I have always been very hard to deaden. He pulled the loose teeth without any pain, zero. Next, after my mouth healed, he made me a new partial. The new partial fit perfectly the first time with none of the going back multiple times for adjustments. There were no sore spots and every one tells me my smile looks perfect. Everyone was the consummate professional and most competent. I felt at ease instantly upon meeting Julie at the front desk. She was so sweet, compassionate, and answered every question/concern I had. A first impression is crucial and Julie was the perfect ice breaker. She also provided vital information regarding my dental insurance, which was very helpful to me. I then met Lora, the dental hygienist who made me feel so comfortable while cleaning my teeth. I must state that I was so embarrassed for the state of my teeth-I had been a poor college student for years without the means to provide routine dental visits. Suffice it to say the sight of my teeth revolted me. Within moments of my interaction with Lora my anxieties were washed away and the best part was after my cleaning, I was once again able to smile with confidence. My next encounter was Dr. Lester's assistant Stephanie who greeted me with a smile that negates any bad day or anxiety. She was also very sweet, compassionate and professional. I don't like the dentist. I'd been to two dentists in Orange County before I found Dr. Lester. He makes you feel very comfortable and is attentive to his patients. I had a crown and a few months after it was on, it broke. Dr. Lester replaced the crown with a tougher material at no cost because he stands behind his work. Pretty much everyone at work goes to him now and I've not heard a bad word against him. read more

Dr Lester is really a very good dentist - professional, knowledgeable, thorough and doesn't rush into something before considering what is really best for you as the patient. I had my front two teeth 'filled' by him after chipping one tooth slightly and having the other one quite worn down. I was worried the result would look fake and the color would not match but OMG! he did such a great job...you really cannot tell at all that my front teeth have been filled. They are now strong and healthy and I don't need to worry about further chips and so on. My husband uses Dr Lester and I also take our kids to him. I like the fact that he is concerned about the health of the teeth more than the 'cosmetic' obsession you often get here in Southern California. A true professional. read more

I ran into him in the parking lot next door, and he took the time to talk to me about what I needed done.
