She was honest and gave me recommendations of what I should look out for and what should be treated sooner than later. Personally I have had some sub par dental visits from other providers in the past so I wasn't expecting to be this impressed but...wow! I've lived all over the United States and this is by far the best Dentist office I've ever been to. Everyone is super friendly and make sure you're comfortable at all times. While they're working on you, they give you wireless headphones to put on so you can watch whatever you'd like on the TV that's mounted near the ceiling. The services were absolutely professional and I received MORE than what I expected. I walked in after setting up an appointment with no expectations as this was the first time using Golden State Dental. I hadn't received any dental treatment for like 7 years before this appointment and my teeth were turning brown and honestly I thought they were rotting away. Dr. Alec Garoian brought me in, X-Rayed my mouth, and sat me in his chair where a conveniently placed TV (pretty much on the ceiling) distracted me from the services Dr. Garoian was about to perform. One hour after my teeth cleaning, Dr. Garoian picked up a mirror and told me to look at my teeth. White. Sparkling White. I was honestly amazed to see the difference and I really wish I took a before and after picture so that you all could see the difference Dr. Garoian made. I don't have a before-and-after picture but I can tell you that I was so happy with the result I told him to take a picture with me so I can put this review on here. Moreover, Dr. Garoian accommodated my late working schedule which made it all the easier to enjoy the services. I was incredibly nervous returning to see a dentist after neglecting visiting the dentist during COVID time. Dr. Alec Garoian was quickly able to help me feel at ease. He had to do a root canal (my very first one) and he did a wonderful job. I was very pleased. We then discussed the crowding on my front, lower teeth. Due to that crowding, my toothbrush could not reach certain areas. The only time that area was fully cleaned was during my dental visits and that in fact did bother me a great deal. Dr. Alec then told me about Invisalign. He explained everything so clearly and thoroughly. I had further questions and he never rushed me and did not move forward until I felt comfortable with my understanding.
