My daughter was even suffering from bone loss. Dr. Lee had to go in and try to fix the other endodontist's poor work and errors. Dr. Lee was patient and compassionate. He explained that what his work would entail, how complicated it was, and that it may not work. He said he would try to save the tooth, but he may not be able to, and it may need a surgical root canal through the side, or even extraction due to the damage, bone loss, and poor work of the other endodontist It took two visits over two weeks and amazingly, Dr. Lee was not only able to save the tooth but was able to correct the faulty root canal. We will go back in one year to check the progress of the tooth and see how the bone is regrowing around the tooth. He said none of the surgical interventions should be necessary. Throughout this entire process, Dr. Lee took the time to explain to me every step, then he would repeat, and explain it to my daughter. We were reassured and informed. We are so grateful to Dr. Lee that he is so adept at fixing root canals that have been performed poorly and not just failed, but failed miserably and caused such horrible pain and bone loss. I didn't even want to by this time as it was late at night and I had work in the morning (Sat). I decided to try, and low and behold Dr Gigi answered my call. She said 'don't worry I will meet you in the morning'. I got there at 8 am. She took a look at the tooth and saw how upset I was that I might lose it. Well to my surprise, she saved my tooth! This tooth had broken on the inside corner and left a gaping hole where the HUGE filling had been from the previous dentist. She had never seen a filling that big. One of the most important things to note here is that I have been terrified of going to the dentist because of the horrible work I'd had at other dental offices. I have been back for my crown which is so perfect you can't even tell its a crown. It feels like the tooth and fits perfectly. I also went for a cleaning which she did herself...I loved it! I needed two fillings replaced from the previous dentist. How could I ever love going to a dentist appt!! Today was my second filling and I had zero pain.
