My daughter made an appointment to try on wedding dresses. We signed in and out consultant came to meet my daughter and hear about her big day and what she wanted in her gown. We were treated so well! Our consultant Becky was such a sweet heart and asked all the right questions to help my daughter pick the wedding gown just right for her. She really made my daughters day special. It was such a welcoming environment. My daughter found her wedding gown and it's a stunner not to mention we got a Jewel gown at a killer price. The selection was good and the store clean and bright. Kelly the store manager was also a delight! She visited with us and wanted to see the dress that my daughter chose. Erica is an incredible saleswoman! My friend and I came in to try on wedding dresses for both of our pending celebrations AND I needed a bridesmaids dress for yet a third wedding! Erica did not bat an eye. She jumped right in with her smile and enthusiasm. She brought us each a pile of beautiful gowns, helped us into them, and laughed with us the whole way. She helped me get a better idea of what I am looking for, as I had absolutely NO idea what might look good on me when I walked in the door. So, 5 days before my wedding, my maid of honor discovered that her bridesmaid dress no longer fit her. After multiple attempts to shove her forcibly into it, we made a panicked call to the David's Bridal alterations department. The whole team was amazing, especially Meagan A. They went above and beyond for us, finding her a floor model in the right color and style, and more importantly, in her new size, that would be ready before the big day. Then, to top things off, they did a straight exchange, so we didn't have to pay for a whole extra dress. I am so grateful for the assistance in making my special day perfect! read more

Plus, I was not told I'd be sharing my appointment with another bride, most of my time was spent standing in dresses I told my stylist I didn't like. I only got to try on 3 dresses. She did NOT seem sincere in any of our interactions. I was clearly just another customer to her and she didn't care about my experience for my big day. She had the worst fake laugh, and was horrible at listening to what I liked or disliked about the dresses. I felt defeated, dismissed and totally over the "Bridal experience" by the end of the appointment. In tears, I even left 10 min early because I was continuously disappointed with the services. Maybe David's Bridal is a good place to shop, but certainly NOT this location. I'd rather take my chances buying a dress online. Never going back to this location. read more

I have gone to David's Bridal twice this month. The staff is ridiculous and rude. There is a tall blonde there who goes out of her way to be mean to people. She treated my guests and I horribly and yelled at us for no reason at all. I honestly don't know why we were yelled at. I have seen her treat other customers bad too. I found the dress that I absolutely loved! Perfect price, with a wonderful consultant that took the time, and listened to exactly what I wanted in a dress. EXCEPT...my husband got orders for out of the state, in which resulted in me trying to get money back on my dress. I was very stressed out, and wasn't sure if they would even allow it. I called in, left a message, (Their manager wasn't there at the time) and Amanda got back with me the next day. She was so sweet, and understanding with my husband being in the military, and lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. Without a question, she refunded me full price on my dress. Best customer service hands down. I've been to other bridal places, that did not compare, Dresses and all. Down to earth people, not stuck up, like other bridal locations. I stopped in on my very first day of bridal gown shopping and was assisted by Megan. She was very friendly and allowed my sister, best friend, and I to walk through their collections and pick out any gowns that caught our attention. While I did not end up purchasing my gown here, I did fall in love with a beautiful Vera Wang gown that was exactly what I was looking for. Megan helped me to pick out accessories that she thought would compliment the look I was going for. She didn't pressure me at all and overall I would recommend this location and Megan for brides in search of their dream dress. read more

Employees need to have customer service training. Extremely rude and have failed to see customers come into their shop, when no other customer is in the shop. I had to go in, look around for 30 minutes, leave, and come back again before anyone even acknowledged me, and she made me feel like I was wasting her time. Also, how come they never have the color or size I need, but can order it (if I pay the shipping), and it takes longer to get it than if I order it myself online. Plus, if I order it online, I don't have to pay the shipping! This is the third time I have gone in, so it's not an isolated incident. But the third time is definitely the charm, because I won't go in again, or recommend the store to anyone else. read more

First of all I can see why this Davids bridal location has a one star rating. It was the worst dress buying experience. First of all we had an appointment but was treated like we didn't. I was there to buy all parts of my wedding outfit and brides maids dresses, but after I said yes to the dress they practicality pushed us out the door. It didn't make sense. After I met with my consultant she had me and my family comb through the racks and pick out my own dresses. she quickly helped me into my picks and then ran off to help with another bride. I then was left for quite a bit of time between dresses, meanwhile the "manager" was standing silently behind us not helping or introducing herself. It was awkward. Finally I picked my favorite and was ready to buy. She said that she was giving us a "deal" but it turns out it was the same discount that was online. She didn't help with finding me a veil or jewelry. We got up to the front and she said the one that I pulled off the rack was the one I was purchasing! Even though it was a size to big and I didn't get a chance to inspect it to make sure there wasn't anything on the dress from other people trying it on. After I paid for it she said all sales are final. It was such a horrible time. I hope nobody wastes their time at this location, because it will make a happy experience a frustrating one!! read more

MAKE SURE YOUR DRESS IS PERFECT BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR ALTERATIONS FINAL FITTING. They do not make sure they have done their job well before you come in. My dress is not finished, the bustle is currently not operable because of their lack of assurance. I live in Twin Falls, which makes this issue more of a pain. Also my wedding is in 3.5 weeks. Their alteration department had an extra week to ensure that my dress was finished and done well, yet they did not do so. Their lack of communication and service has caused extra stress where it is not needed or necessary. On top of this I have made every appointment to wait an extra 20-30 minutes after my set time. The staff is not promt with their appointments, they do not make sure their work is finished, and I will not be visiting again. I now need to make another trip to Boise because of their mistakes. Money is taken out of my pocket on their poor alt department and service. read more

I have the great blessing of being in THREE weddings this summer with three VERY different women. All of them have given me free reign to pick out my own bridesmaid dress, which is great in theory...but makes it hard at the same time! I was going crazy hitting store after store trying to find what these brides have in their "vision". I finally decided to throw in the towel an just make a stylist appointment at David's Bridal. I have to say that I was SO impressed. Although I am not a bride, they treated me like gold and took notes on everything all three brides have said to find the right fit for each of the different weddings. I left after one visit with all three dresses taken care of, feeling excited (not exhausted and frustrated), and spending a LOT less than I would have buying the same types of dressed at department stores. They were accommodating with various shipping needs due to my job which puts me in a tough spot with traveling and needing things to be sent in different directions. I am so happy I made the decision to go there today. Alex and Ashley made my life so much easier and all three of my awesome brides are very happy! read more

I came in with my wife multiple times to assist her in getting a dress for her to wear as the Maid of Honor for her best friend's wedding. Which is in South Carolina and she is the only member of the wedding party not living local. The first time we went in just to look and have her try on a few that the bride had said she wanted to see her in the staff was AWESOME! Well I should say that night Andi was AWESOME! She was so helpful with giving a great opinion that my wife and the bride loved. Bride was on video chat. She made both of them very happy and at ease with the added stress of not being able to be together when doing the dress shopping. Fast forward a month or so to when we purchased the dress for the wedding. Made an appointment to be with Andi who will be the only one there we will ever deal with in the future. What I thought was going to be a very painful ordeal was a very pleasant happy experience. My wife and the Bride "on video chat again" where ecstatic with the final dress purchase and that Andi had help solve the problem my wife was having finding the right shoes to wear and found the perfect pair as my wife put it. And during this time Andi found another dress and showed it to my wife just for her to give it a try and by doing this she made my wife feel great and loved the other dress and better yet loved how she looked in it. So we will be getting that one also for her as a just because she looked amazing in it dress. I made an appointment and received great help (i believe the person who helped me out was named Alex). I found the perfect wedding dress and I can't wait till my wedding day! The alterations department was amazing I got a corset back put in my dress and they got it done in under four weeks! Carrie was incredibly friendly and offered great service! The alterations were absolutely perfect!! Thank you David's Bridal for making this part of my wedding so easy! I honestly never looked at any reviews before I went into the store, and I'm really glad that I didn't because the girls here were phenomenaly helpful and wonderful. I went in on a Sunday after looking at their website for a few weeks and picking out some styles that I liked. I hadn't made an appointment, my mother and I were just going in to look at what they had. One of the consultants helped us find the dresses I had picked off the website and warned us that there weren't any fitting rooms open before leaving us to look them over. I found out that my top choice was on clearance and the last one left in the my size. We asked the consultant if they could hold the dress for us until we could get back in for an apointment in two days. She said they weren't allowed to hold them, but told us to wait for a moment while she spoke the the manager. When she came back, she told us that she could squeeze me into a fitting room even though she wasn't really supposed to. The dress fit like a dream and my mother even cried when she saw me in it, and I knew that we were going to buy it, but this wasn't even the best experience we had here. A few weeks later, I took my bridesmaids in to try on their dresses. It took considerably longer to find their dresses, but we made it work anyway. Unfortunately, every one of them had to be ordered in, but the girls all knew when to make the orders by. A week after I ordered the dresses for the girls, one of my bridesmaids dropped out of the wedding, leaving me with a dress and no one to wear it. I knew I wouldn't be able to return the dress, but I went back in anyway to ask what we could do about it. Rayannon, one of the managers, was able to exchange the bridesmaids dress for a dress for my mother, saving me from having wasted $120 on a dress no one was going to wear. One of my bridesmaids hadn't been able to try on a dress before I had to order it and we ended up with the wrong size for her. It was the day before the wedding before she was able to try it on and we were desperate. We called the store fifteen minutes before they closed, and I'm pretty sure they heard the desperation in my voice and agreed to let us come in for a replacement. When we got there ten minutes later, Rayannon had picked out several dresses in the right color and matching fabric for my bridesmaid to try on. They were happy to stay past closing just so I could get a dress for my bridesmaid the night before the big day. She exchanged it for us, and it was even the same price as the original dress. The girls here were absolutely wonderful every time I stepped through the doors even after I had made all the payments. They never tried to pressure me into buying something I didn't want or need. And Rayannon even helped me box up and send out my dress to be cleaned and preserved. They went above and beyond their jobs to help me out and make sure my big day was perfect. After reading the reviews I was worried about shopping here. My best friend is getting married and asked us to meet her there. We had a appointment for wedding dresses and bridesmaids. The girl that worked with us was awesome! Her name is McKala. Our appointment started at 5:30 and we left around 8. That was the perfect time to go in. The store wasn't busy and we didn't feel rushed. My best friend found her dress! We are going in again to figure out bridesmaids. I hope that goes as well as this did. I had my first appointment yesterday for wedding dress shopping. it was a saturday and hectic which I understood. I found out my consultant was double booked and I was a little worried about it, but I understood considering it was a free appointment at a big box store. However, it felt that my consultant wasn't listening to me at all and I could feel she was frustrated when I'd have to tell her no again and again. (I am not a diva and it is hard for me to blatantly tell people no when I dont like something). I showed her dresses I did like and when we felt we were on the right track she would bring dresses that had nothing to do with what I had said. I wonder if she was getting me mixed up with the other girl. It seemed she helped her more than me as she would just take off to go somewhere without saying anything to me. She brought me a corset to wear under a dress, it was nice David's provided those! She handed it to me and said if you need help let me know. and then she took off again! I did need help, but i somehow managed to get it on myself. I ended up not loving anything I tried on unfortunately. I had three "likes" and I felt very pressured to book an appointment to come back to see dresses I only liked that didnt look great. I booked the appointment just to get out of there with the plans of cancelling later. I left and surprisingly found my perfect dress at a local boutique that had a beautiful dressing room and beautiful seating area for guests. read more

This was my first time visiting the Boise location. I am pregnant, so the bridesmaid's dress I had bought months back no longer fit me. I tried the next size up, the dress fit, but felt a little too snug for my liking. The lady in alterations (I cannot remember her name right now, pregnancy brain) was very professional and very pleasant. She brought me another dress that was the same, but had different straps. She did her very best to try and accommodate me. Unfortunately, the bride was very set on the other style of dress. Kelly Bishop, the store manager was BEYOND helpful. I was distraught and stressed out and she did everything in her power to remedy the situation. She was able to return the dress I had, and buy the correct dress and size over the phone from another location. She even went on to COMP the shipping costs for me! She seriously saved the day. Definitely had an amazing experience and felt like these girls really cared about me and my situation. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a dress for a special occasion. read more

I think the folks at David's are great. I am an older first time bride. I didn't find my dress there. I didn't even think to look there. But I went there because I heard about a sale through the grapevine. I needed some stuff for my wedding and they helped me, I didn't have an appointment, didn't know you needed one of those, never was even asked if I had an appointment, they just jumped into action and found me what I needed...all in one box even. I am not the greatest at giving praise I think its a bit strange this yelping thing. Sorry I am doin it so late after my visit. I just recently purchased my wedding dress at the Boise location. This was my first time physically looking at wedding dresses. I was very impressed with the way they took care of me. I was not expecting to find my wedding dress, but to get more of an idea of what I was looking for. I came to my appointment with an idea of what I thought I might want and was open to trying on different styles. Ashley was the stylist that helped me out, and she did a fantastic job. I told her what I wanted, and she started showing me dresses that I might like to try on. We picked out about 6-8 dresses. When I was trying on the dresses, Ashley asked a lot of helpful questions along the lines of what I did and did not like about each dress. I actually found two dresses I really liked within the first three dresses, but I did try on a couple of different styles just in case. Ashley was very patient and helped me see what I could not realize myself, which was how my face lite up on the dress that I ended up buying. She allowed me to take my time as this was not a decision I wanted to rush. There was no pressure from Ashley to buy a particular dress, would constantly remind me that it was what I wanted, and also knew what veils went with different dresses. Everyone at David's Bridal made it a personal and special experience. A huge thank you to Ashley for helping me find my wedding dress! I am newly engaged and getting married in about 7 months. I went to David's Bridal in Boise a few days ago with my mom just planning on browsing, I didn't even book an appointment. After looking around I asked if it was a possibility to be set up with someone to look at dresses and even though they were booked they were able to squeeze me in no problem. Tessa is the one who helped me find my dream dress and truly the reason I'm writing this review. She was simply amazing. She went out of her way to make every little last detail perfect. She had two brides at once but truly made me feel like I was the only one; I don't doubt the second bride felt the same way. I walked away without any doubts or regrets and she even stayed an hour after closing to get me squared away. She is a huge asset to this company and I really hope that's acknowledged. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it was ROASTING in there. My mom, who was sitting most of the time was sweating and the mom of the other bride was as well. It's hard to feel pretty trying on dresses when you're back is wet. Maybe some fans, AC, water bottles to offer? read more

TACKY!!!!! I can't even begin to explain my awful experience. Luckily I had gone to Chic and Margonene's prior to David's bridal or I might have never bought a dress. The store is DIRTY. They give you one consultant but double book so you have no help getting on and off the dresses. You feel bad taking the consultant away from the other bride but clearly they don't care. I wandered the store for close to 30 minutes WITH an appointment before someone helped. All the dresses they put me in where way too big so they could push their very expensive altering department. I asked at the Chic how much altering should cost and it is double at Davids. Not to mention they like to put you in their own undergarments so you can buy one more thing. All the designer dresses come with everything built it, but David's just wants to make an extra buck. Who is DAVID? I would love to meet him face to face. I would NEVER buy a dress from here nor would I recommend it to anyone. read more

amazing ladies! i went in with my friend who is a bride and they only had one consultant on duty but it was fine, she had three other brides. she came by just about every minute and answered all of our questions that we had. i was very impressed by her. she had a bride come in 45 minutes late drunk with all of her friends while all of them kept grabbing bridesmaids dresses instead of focusing on the bride. it was like watching someone try to heard kittens! but she maintained her composer and even offered the bride help and she refused. but she kept a smile on her face and kept very professional and answered everyones questions while juggling the whole store. very impressed with the ladies who work there! read more

We visited David's Bridal in October in search of a dress for my daughters wedding, which will be held in July . We were pleasantly surprised as we had heard that the service at this store left a lot to be desired. I called ahead of time to let them know of some special needs of my daughter and they told me that there shouldn't be any problems. The day of our appointment, they paired my daughter with Katelyn, who was absolutely phenomenal! She took time to get to know my daughters needs and her personal taste and made her feel so beautiful and special. In fact, the whole staff that was in the store that evening made it a very wonderful experience for my daughter, myself, and my two daughters-in law who accompanied us. She said yes to the dress that night, ordered it there on the spot, and we were told the dress would be delivered in January 15. It actually was delivered in November 19, in perfect condition. Beautiful Brides DO NOT GET YOUR DRESS here. My daughter ordered her dress $1500.00 March 22nd ( we live 260 miles round trip) 5 weeks later went to pick up my daughters dress she tried on dress it was TRASH missing back button quarter size hole then a bunch of smaller holes two coffee stains and oil on trim. Was told it came from another store was suppose to be brand new REALLY!!! That took 5 weeks I have worked retail 34 years does not take that long store to store. So they ordered a supposely NEW dress and was to have it steamed. 3 times 260 miles to get this dress. Was not NEW or STEAMED and had flaws and black glitter spots!!! Rhayanna did try to help us and said the dress would be steamed and pressed so did the alteration girl.The manager Friday night was more worried about looking in the mirror at herself said oh no steam and pressed is additional 40 dollars and would not be ready for a week before the WEDDING WHAT!! WOW POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, This nightmare is not over YET!!!!! SPECIALLY WHEN YOU PAY FOR A LITTLE BIT OF QUALITY and now we have to have it cleaned and steamed!! Will be taking this further and I would not give a star rating at ALL!!! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!! read more

David's Bridal has some of the absolute WORST customer service I've ever experienced. My wedding is in 11 months and although it is a bit early to shop for my wedding dress, I was excited and decided to go for it. I scheduled my appointment online and brought all 5 of my bridesmaids and my mother. We got there and they didn't have my appointment in the system even though I had the confirmation email in hand. They did manage to schedule it there and let us stay, the least they could do. My personal assistant was fantastic, her name was Becky. I gave her a list of some dresses that I liked when I looked online. They didn't have a single one of those dresses in their store! So we pulled some off the racks that were somewhat similar. She stayed with me the entire time. I was on my 8th or 9th dress and I just wasn't loving any of them. You know the moment a bride has when they think "this is the one!"?! I wasn't having that and I believe if I'm going to be spending hundreds of dollars on a dress that I'm wearing once, I should have that moment. After that 12th dress, the store manager, Sundae (or some absurd, stupid name like that) came over and told my wedding party "we have to hurry this along, your appointment is over" in the rudest possible tone and without a hint of sympathy on her trashy face. Up until that moment, she had been hovering around us a giving glaring, dirty looks to my sister, sister in laws, best friend and my MOTHER! It was wretched. Becky, my personal assistant said she means we'll but whispered to me "we're okay, let's grab another 1 or 2". My little sister, on a hunch, snuck one more in before Sundae could come over and snap at us like a harpy again. On that final dress, after almost giving up, I found "the one" and I had my moment. Sundae was standing there, tapping her foot while I spoke to their head seamstress about alterations, shortening the dress, bustling it and adding straps. She was shooting daggers at me the whole time. Such a bitch! As we're walking out, all of the employees were standing at the front of the store, 2 hours till close with not another soul in the store and Sundae, again without empathy, says "sorry to hurry you up but if I didn't, then you would have never left! Hahaha". No, ma'am, that's not funny. Don't laugh. As a bride, I want my wedding day to be special and you made me feel so much less than that. You should not be around the general public let alone managing a bridal shop. Becky was amazing and if it weren't for the fact that I wanted her to get her commission, then I would absolutely be taking my business elsewhere. Sundae needs to be fired! read more
