I would recommend making a appointment online before going to the store. Even though online they do say that no appointment is needed at this time, when we did do a walk in they told us that we would not be able to try on any dresses. And when we did make an appointment, we were told on our arrival that we could only pick 5 dresses. When dress shopping especially for bridesmaids dresses, it is fundamental that you're able to try on a variety of dresses to figure out what dress all parties like. And only having 5 dresses to pick from between two bridesmaids was not helpful. We tried on the dresses we selected but sadly did not find one that we liked enough to order that day. Right now due to their covid protocol making multiple appointments maybe more realistic. They are following safe covid guidelines and everyone is masked, and they require all customers wear a mask too at this time. read more

They didn't make me pay rush fees but the alternation fees cost MORE THAN THE DAMN DRESS Every time I called asking about my dress i would get a different procedure and like they weren't reassuring and just like that so happy it's unhelpful and patronizing Had such a language barrier with the seamstress that I couldn't communicate what I wanted done. FYI you can't call, it's text only. I got an email sent an email with NO reply. After a week of sending the email Via text I was told too bad I will not be getting my money back. I understand shit happens but have some better customer service skills when dealing with people. We went to David's Bridal and found a beautiful dress for my daughter to change into for the dance portion of her wedding. The initial experience was wonderful, and we were given a rough estimate for alterations before being asked to pay for the dress. However, once we returned to the alteration department, the prices quoted were far higher than expected and the timeline was very different from what we had been told beforehand. Additional charges were also added for things like steaming (we felt it was unnecessary) and "rush" services. We felt misled, as it seemed they waited until we were fully committed to the dress to inflate the costs. What should have been an exciting, happy purchase ended with us feeling deceived. We left with the dress, but unfortunately with a bad impression of the store and its tactics around alterations. Would not go back. For clarity this was the Langley location. read more

The two stars are for the staff as they were nice enough. The real,issue for me was the actual store and merchandise. I guess I thought mistakenly that David's bridal was a high end gown store. Now I do not know anything about the bridal gowns as we were looking for a prom dress. We walked in and were greeted and told to look around. There were only a few racks of prom dresses and to be brutally honest they were cheap, looked cheap and felt cheap. This is not the place if you are looking for a higher end prom dress. I don't mean to sound snobby as I know there are plenty of people who don't have the luxury of spending $500 plus on a dress. And , there may have been some great hidden gems at great prices. My daughter just did not get any good vibes from the dresses and the colours were not what she was looking expecting after visiting many other bridal store. read more

My visit at David's Bridal in Langley BC I took my 3 brides maids to buy their dresses for my wedding. We got there on time for our appointment. We were told our stylist would be with us soon. We were invited to look at the dresss. We looked & found ome possibilities. It took 40 minutes for our stylist to get to us. By thar time we has several dresses picked out. It was just a matter of size. I found the stylist to be almost mute & very distracted. I did not feel like we were important. I'm super disappointed. We did find 3 dresses that we bought. I found the dresses mostly all the same just different colors & sleeves. read more

Should have learned my lesson the first time! I came here with the bride and 3 out of the 6 bridesmaids. This place was chosen because the bridesmaids are all over the place (Kelowna, Nashville, and Toronto) and the bride thought this would be easiest. The 3 of us choose our dresses in less than 30 minutes. The dresses cost $175 (made of cheap polyester). It took us over 45 minutes to pay because the staff member didn't know how to use the register. Seriously. She asked someone to help her, was shown how to do it, and still couldn't figure it out. In total, it took 4 people to help us settle our bills and 45 minutes standing in the line. We all got measured for appropriate dress sizes. My size was considerable larger then normal and when I asked about it, she told me it was easier to take the dress in so they order it on the larger size. My dress is 4 sizes too big! We went mid March, the wedding is the first weekend in June, and I was told that the dress would arrive in mid May. NOTE, they do this to make you panic and so you are forced to get your alterations at their location (which can be up to 4 times the price if you would get it at another alteration place). In mid April, I was told by the bride that some of the dresses had already arrived. I called and was informed that my dress was already there. I asked to have it delivered and my $175 dress came in a bag!! I have 3 weddings this summer, 2 which I am in the wedding party and I refuse to buy my other dress from David's Bridal! read more

Despite previous negative reviews I've written about David's Bridal, I was recently asked to be a bridesmaid. It's been years since my previous experiences so I went back, hoping I'd have a better experience. BIG MISTAKE I had an appointment on May 8, 2019 from 4:30pm-6pm to pick out a bridesmaids dress for an upcoming wedding. The lady at the front check in was friendly and encouraged me to look around while she located my consultant. After browsing with my husband and friend for 5-10 minutes, the consultant, Wendy, introduced herself and told me to come get her when I needed a fitting room. Wendy was very frazzled and was helping 2 other clients, while several other employees in the store (at least 3-4) were standing around, fixing hangers, moving boxes etc. I felt very ignored by Wendy. She often walked right past me when I asked a question to help the other client. Keep in mind, I was not a walk in, I had an appointment. She grabbed one alternate size for me for a single dress. I needed alternate sizes for the second and third dress, where my friend, husband and I had to hunt them down ourselves. I inquired about ordering a dress. Wendy checked the warehouse inventory on the computer and said she would let me know. 5 minutes later, she came back, thinking she would have an answer for my question. When I went to approach her, she walked right by me to the other client, ignoring me for probably the 5th time at this point. Wendy was very unhelpful, saying the dress couldn't be ordered in time. She didn't offer any other solution or alternate options. I ended up looking up the dress online and ordered from the US website. The SAME dress in the colour I wanted - the one Wendy said wouldn't be here until mid-September, AFTER the wedding - will be here in 2 weeks. This is not my first negative experience at the David's Bridal in Langley. 5 years ago, my own bridesmaids got their dresses here and it was a complete nightmare. Missing orders, wrong colour, a stain on one dress when it arrived. Absolutely terrible. It's such a shame there are t more bridal stores with a large selection in the lower mainland but I appalled by their terrible customer service. I ended up reluctantly purchasing a different dress for another occasion. It was on clearance. Wendy rang me up, still ignoring me considering her other client was also ready to pay. Then AFTER the transaction, AFTER my credit card went through, AFTER my receipt was handed to me, Wendy told me the dress would be a final sale. Absolutely AMAZING experience looking for a wedding gown! It's hard to contain the excitement of finding THE ONE on my first visit. I await eagerly for it to arrive in April!! A huge shout out to Kate! She was fantastic and so sweet! She understood my concerns from the get-go and knew exactly what kinds of alternative styles to pick out to try on after figuring out what I liked or didn't like about certain dresses. She was super helpful with all my millions of questions, helped keep the vibe calm (yet exciting!), and always checked in to make sure I was comfortable. It's apparently only her second week here! Kate -- if you ever read this, you rock! You provide such a warm, wonderful experience! My family and I were going to wait about a week to think about buying the dress (even though I felt in my heart it was definitely the one!) since it was my first stop and first time looking at/trying on wedding gowns ... but before we were about to leave, Shanaz came to the rescue with some super important information: the dress style was going to be discontinued soon!! The stars really aligned because if it wasn't for Kate and Shanaz, there might have been a huge chance that I wouldn't have been able to find the dress of my dreams. She hadn't even unzipped out of the dress until the alterations woman said, "Can you leave us a review on Google? CAN YOU DO IT NOW???" We also came here for bridesmaid dresses. Our consultant was impatient and pushy. One of the bridesmaids couldn't decide between two dresses and the consultant said there was no point in trying any more dresses because it wouldn't help her make a decision. Uhhhhhh WHAT?! Hello everyone. I recently purchased a dress from this store. My sister and I had a 2 hr appointment on a busy Saturday afternoon. I came into the store knowing the style and cut that I wanted. Diane, our associate, was there to meet us at the door. After discussing what I wanted in a dress, she pointed out some dresses which fit my description and out of maybe 5 to 6 dresses that I tried on, I found a simple V neck lace dress that I liked and ended up buying(later in the week). Throughout my appointment, Diane kept getting pulled away to help out her coworkers but I still felt like she gave us enough help with our choices. She even managed to squeeze my sister in to try a few bridesmaid dresses. I left the store feeling great, knowing I have the dress I want. Before leaving, she took my measurements and informed me about a 7 day pick up policy. I was told that my dress will be ready by May at the earliest. Last Wednesday, March 28th the store left me a voicemail saying my dress was ready for pickup. Since I wasn't available since then til Monday this week, I didn't receive their message til Monday afternoon. I called the store yesterday evening. After being put on hold for at least 10 minutes and just about ready to hang up, Crystal explained to me that Tuesday was the last day for me to pick up my dress and that the store doesn't have extra storage to keep dresses for longer than a week. She was nice enough to pencil me in for Wednesday. I just left the store 20 minutes ago. Diane was at the front desk. She obviously didn't remember me but that's ok. After giving her my info, she left and returned with a tall white bag labelled Davids bridal. Her coworker at that same instant approached her with a lady behind to say, "this is your 630 appointment. Unfortunately, she's very late." Anyway, she hung the bag on a post by the reception desk and without looking at me, pushed a sheet to my direction and said, "sign here." Now, I've only bought one wedding dress in my life so far. I've only gotten engaged once so far so I don't really know what to expect. But correct me if I'm being over the top when I felt a little upset that she didn't even ask me to try on the dress. Instead of signing, I asked her, "can I try on the dress?" She finally looks at me and says, "well, you caaaan. But no one can help you. You can try it on the back there." She made no movement to lead the way or the warmth that she had in her voice last I saw her was gone. At this point I was a bit confused. I mean what is the point of trying it on without an associate to discuss what to alter. She said further, "do you have an alterations appointment?" Alterations can be dealt with at another time I understand. But to not be given the courtesy to try on a piece of clothing I purchased is abysmal. I'm really disappointed with this store. All I can hear in my head is- no one can help you. I guess it's my fault for not bringing a sister or friend but isn't that what associates are there for to lend a bit of help? Without any explanation of what she's asked me to sign, she motioned again towards the piece of paper. No offer to show me the dress or anything. You know? To show me it's the right dress. I left that store with my heart heavy and absolutely turned off by the business. I hope I'm one of the very few who experienced this unfortunate lack of professional customer service. read more

The positive is that the dress was beautiful, I managed to buy it and get it altered on a very short timeline, and I looked great in photos, if I may say so myself. The negative. Now, I'm not a very experienced bride, I wasn't one of those people who went to 15 shops to try on dresses, but I've seen enough episodes of Say Yes to the Dress to know a faux pas when I see one. Before we started, I gave them a budget, they brought out 5 or 6 dresses, I tried them all on, and I checked the tag on each dress before I put it on. All the dresses were in my budget or much cheaper, so I thought we had an understanding, and I stopped checking the price tags. So, I find the dress, I'm all excited, we're looking at veils, we're in the 360 mirror room, and then I check the tag, and the dress is 60% over my budget. That's without adding tax or alterations. I was livid. I tried on some cheaper dresses after, but of course nothing looked as nice after finding "the one". So they were like "oh we'll waive the $29 dollar rush fee". Gee, thanks. So of course I ended up buying this dress, and with tax and alterations it was about 70% or 75% over my budget. That's pretty significant. I think these kinds of places think they can get away with this kind of behavior because they don't think they have to worry about return business. But the joke's on them, because these days people have an average of 2-3 marriages a lifetime. Guess where I'm not getting my next dress. read more

Megan was a really nice stylist, she was helpful and very patient - but the manager was really pushy and trying to upsell me constantly. Even though they knew I wanted a flowy, simple, non-white/cream dress for a small beach elopement that I have to walk through the forest to, the manager kept giving the stylist these big, white, elaborate dresses for me to put on that I didn't like and kept pushing them on me. At one point I told them "I don't like these dresses, I'm not comfortable, they're not me. I want a coloured, flowy dress" the manager said "Are you sure you're okay with that?" as if I don't know what I want at my own wedding. A bit disappointed at the upselling and pushiness. Although I really liked Megan, I ended up walking out of there with nothing. :( read more

we had a great experience at David's Bridal yesterday Shopping for my daughter's wedding dress. Liane our consultant was exceptional. My daughter had done some research and had an idea about what she wanted. Liane suggested she try various models. Every one Liane brought her was perfect for her body type but the first one she tried was it. She brought her shoes and blinged it up and we bought it all. all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and encouraging. Their experience shows. They accommodated our party of six. It's very busy and popular so I recommend going early. It becomes crowded but it somehow adds to the experience. And the prices were amazing too. We rang the bell and took group photos. I went with my mom to find the perfect dress for a family wedding. I am part of the bridal party and got my dress from here so I thought I'd be a great idea to take my mom. We got there and asked the associate what size range she thinks my mom should look for or if she had any recommendations for my moms body type. She said everything we have is out there and I have no idea what size she would be. You just have to look. I was SHOCKED at that answer, thanked her and told her we will look ourselves then. She could tell that I was a little upset with that response so she stepped in again and tried to redeem herself and I stopped her and repeated the advise she had given us. She said is something wrong? I am the manager can I help you. I said no, you've already told us to look by ourselves and you cannot help. And we asked someone else to help us. I came in last week with some of my bridesmaids and I had a terrible experience with our sales rep Wendy. She was never around, we had to run around to look for her when we had any questions. She measured my friend and said she was a size 6-8 (she's clearly a 0-2) and in fact all the dresses we picked were huge and she then tried on a 0 which fitted like a glove. Wendy kept pushing on in store alterations any time we tried a size dress that was too big. How about we order the right size first?? Our appointment was up and Wendy went on to her next appointment. We went to the cashier to purchase the dresses (in the right size after me and my bridesmaids hand picked them ourselves) and the lady at checkout had no idea which dresses nor sizes we needed as Wendy didn't provide them or us with any information about the dresses names/model. We waited a little and then had to go as I had to get to work and couldn't wait any longer so we left without the dresses. I drove 1 hour to get there and 1 hour back. Terrible service. I had changed my app a week in advance and it had to be confirmed with me 3 times. I come into my app and they couldn't find my dress. The first thing the lady said to me was "why are you here?your dress isn't here" That's rude as hell. After looking around, she found my dress in the back but it was not altered. So I had to wait 1.5hrs for it to be done. Not only that, due to my bigger busts fitting into the type of dress I has bought, the fitting did not sit well with my body shape. The same lady had the audacity to ask me if I gained weight! What kind of customer service is this? Completely shit. To end it all off, I was not happy with the alterations made. I had an extremely disheartening and unprofessional experience at Langley David's Bridal this past February when I visited to find my wedding dress with my girlfriend. My sales person (Lisa) told me that all the dresses I picked out to try were 20% off if I purchased the dress the same day. I picked out a dress that I fell in love with and went ahead with ordering it. When I asked Lisa to confirm if the dress was 20% off like she said, I was told yes and that the discount was $250 in value. After the payment was made, I looked at the final receipt (I also purchased a veil and the cleaning package ), I did not see an original sales price or the discount amount. I went back to Lisa and asked her how the sales price was calculated and she wouldn't tell me. She kept telling me that what I paid was correct. She wouldn't make eye contact and then went to grab her manager without explaining further. When the manger came back, they both told me to stop making a scene and told me that the discount was not 20% off and that was that. I was really upset at that point and told them that Lisa had been advertising it as otherwise up till the point of my purchase. The manager conceded that that was the case but insisted that they didn't do anything wrong in a condescending tone. I was so upset that I left and asked my girlfriend to come back into the store to talk to them. I told her what happened and she said that she saw Lisa not being able to find the tag on the dress when we were waiting earlier for them to order it. We went back into be store and around this time other customers started entering the store. My girlfriend told them that we are not going to talk to them about the mistake they made but to show us that they ordered the correct dress. Because other customers could hear us, the sales manager attitude completely changed. Lisa did not say a thing . The manager showed us the screen where they placed the ordered and we asked to take a picture of the tag from the dress. The manager apologized and followed us out to the car to offer a small discount for alteration. I got a call recently that the dress is ready for pick up. And the person told me that I had to tell them which day it would be picked up the same day that she called me. Because I don't live in BC, I said I need to check with my girlfriend who would be picking it up on my behalf and she didn't care. She said I had to let her know today and wouldn't tell me why. I was completely confused ..My girlfriend picked it up last week and told me that the dress was not steamed. She asked them why and they said they will steam whne alternation is done, which means they don't even steam the dress if we don't need alterations ? I highly recommend against this bridal store.. it is just incredible the kind of service you receive after your make a purchase. Not worth whatever saving. read more

This was probably one of my best experiences with trying on dresses. I had booked an appointment to try on prom dresses last week and it went great. When I first arrived I was a little overwhelmed by all of the fancy dresses but after meeting with a stylist and going over things I felt comfortable wearing we selected a few dresses to try on. While looking through the racks, if I was unsure about if I liked the dress or not, the stylist would put it back and move on to a different one. Her main priority wasn't to just make a sale but to help me find a dress that I would be comfortable and confident in. If you are looking for any formal dress or bridal gown I suggest looking here. I had the worst experience at David's Bridal! The person on the phone who booked my appointment told me they had sizes in store up to 28 and they didn't they only had up to 24. I guess there was a walk in at the same time which the sales person offered to take during my appointment as well. The lady didn't offer any help to get the dresses on or to fix the back so I can envision what it would look like. She only showed up at the end when she wanted me to buy something. I didn't understand her instructions when picking dresses and she brought my picks for dresses to the other woman. I cried. It was my first experience and it was horrible. I left there and went to a small business in Vancouver who had Plus Size dresses right after that appointment and I found the dress and bought it the same day. I would not recommend this store for Plus Size women after my experience! read more

first things first - my overall experience was positive! I found a couple dresses that I liked and while neither of them are the one it really helped me narrow my search. the gal that helped me out was helpful and pleasant, I was her first bride ever so I could tell she was nervous but she did her absolute best. her manager was nice and kept checking in to make sure everything was going okay. just a few things that I wasn't too keen on - I was excited to go here because online they have a decent selection of short dresses. in store, they only had one kind. Also, I made my appointment 3 months in advance, then the day before they tell me they changed their hours and I would lose 30 mins of my appointment. had they contacted me earlier I could have arranged to do it a different day with my mom and friends who were coming with me. in the end, I think if you go into David's with a "let's have some fun" attitude you can get past some of the things other commenters have disliked! read more

Disappointed was how I left David's Bridal... I purchased my wedding dress there and the first impression was great... Right up until I had to purchase my garment bag for my $1700 dress! You think they would throw in a free garment bag? Fast forward to picking up my dress. I was so excited! The gals brought me my dress and didn't bring me the crinoline I had purchased with the dress. When I asked them where it was, they accused me of already picking it up. I had to convince them and show them my receipt multiple times to get the crinoline that I had paid for! I was also not given the garment bag I had once again paid for and had to haggle with the sales gals, once again having to provide my receipt to prove I had paid for the garment bag! Unbelievable! I did have a good first experience when trying on dresses so not all is lost here... It's just when you deal with being accused of not paying for your garment bag on such a huge purchase it leaves a funny taste in your mouth.. Tip for David's Bridal: provide free garment bags! So hey, the famous David's Bridal just opened up in Langley (Nov. 30/12) at the RioCan Langley Centre, just in time for me! After being disappointed in how the styles looked in the Burlington, WA store, I figured I'd try a few different ones here. I called about a week before they opened, but their computers hadn't arrived yet, so they told me to call a couple of days later. When I did, it was surprisingly fairly easy to get an appointment on opening day, even though I expected it to be pretty busy. The staffperson who helped me was so sweet - I think I was her first customer, haha. She was so young and fresh, and hadn't been disillusioned by crazyass bridezillas yet. After giving me a tour of the store (they also have prom dresses, bridesmaid gowns, mother of the bride gowns, shoes, and accessories), she determined what kinds of dresses I had in mind, picked a few out, and assigned me a change room. Then she measured me, and brought a bustier + slip to wear under the dresses. I mostly tried on Vera Wang's White line (it's like her budget line), and while they looked amazing on the model in their catalogue, sadly, they did not translate well on me. The details were great, and uniquely designed, but for some reason, it did not flow in the same way, or the quality did not quite look the same. That's not David's fault though, as it's hard to tell from a catalogue what will look good on you. Anyway, I didn't walk out with a dress, but I do like that there are so many styles here. Seems like they have something for everyone - just not me! I do suggest looking at the website before coming in for an appointment, as it gets overwhelming because they have so many dresses. Another thing - I felt that since it was really busy and there were two other brides there as well as a couple of girls looking for prom dresses (along with their families/friends), I didn't really get to have a feel for what the dresses looked on me because a lot of the mirror space was taken up by everyone else. The change area should also have those circular platforms like other bridal places so dresses will look better on instead of bunching up on the floor. read more

My gf (the bride) made the appointment for Thanksgiving day and I was surprised that they were open. I mean, it was a good thing as that was the only day the bridal party could get together. Our appt was for 4PM and we arrived on time. One of the hostess gave us an ipad to choose dresses we wanted to try on when we got there..but it was a late start. We didn't actually get to try on the dresses until 430PM because the representative was late in coming out and told us we would have to cut the appt short as she has a 530PM coming in. We had to basically be done by 5:15PM. I won't lie, I felt rushed but whatever I guess. Call it my lucky day but I found the perfect bridesmaid dress for me on my first try. The other 2 ladies had to try one a few before finding their perfect dress but all in all, I think everyone was happy with their choices. Although we managed to find a dress for each of us, I thought there would be more styles for corresponding fabrics. What they had were nice, but I think with the amount of body types nowadays they would provide more choices for people to choose from. Basically, here is a breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros -Aside from the bridesmaid dresses and other party gowns, I was impressed by the amount of styles they had for wedding dresses -The ability to feel and touch the dresses itself. Sometimes looking at photos or a poster does not do the dress justice in real life Cons -Staff wasn't very helpful in my opinion in terms of promoting their products. We were also looking at shoes and I didn't even know there was a promotion of BOGO Half Off for shoes until I followed them on instagram. A sale could have been made initially for shoes if they had gave us this information. -Feeling rushed during our appointment At the end of the day, we did order the dresses from them and I personally would check them out when I get married..but I didn't think it was SUPERB. read more

They carry great name brands like White Vera Wang at very affordable prices. I made an appointment a day before and no problem came in and was shocked at the large selection of dresses. The bride had a list of dresses for me to try on. The consultant took me to a change room and measured me. After I tried on several dresses, the lady helped me get in and out of the dresses. I was in and out in less then 30 minutes. I didn't feel pressured to buy. They had my stuff on file incase I decide to purchase some thing, and even took a picture of me with one of the dresses I liked so I can send it to the bride who is in Winnipeg. The experience picking a dress at David's is so easy! When me and my party arrived we were offered an Ipad where we could browse all the dress styles and were asked to bookmark the ones I wanted to try. I loved this cause I had already scoured their site and knew which ones I wanted. It is also way easier to choose from a picture then when digging through the racks. The fitting rooms are barely big enough to get into the poofier dresses but I hardly consider this a flaw since I was not expecting the luxury boutique experience. Our consultant was quite helpful and when suggested the dress I ended up falling in love with based on the ones we already selected. If you decide on a dress it is tradition to do a "bell ceremony" which I found very uncomfortable but that's just me. David's has many advantages, it is a literal one stop shop for your wedding wear. They got bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses as prices that won't burst your budget, they also have a selection of any accessories you would need from veils to undergarments. I also love that they work with Moore's and offer the same colors so if you buy your bridesmaid dresses at David's and mens wear at Moore's you know the colors will be a perfect match! I also loved that they did not pressure me to purchase the dress right away, I was only expecting to pay a deposit but they wanted full payment so they were fine that I was gonna pay and order later. read more

My sister and I went to David's Bridal. We didn't have an appointment. We walked in and started looking around. In the 10 minutes we were there, no one greeted us and we had already 4 dresses in hand. We even went up to the register to get some attention and the 2 sales clerks were talking to each other, stopped and looked at us and proceeded with their conversation as if we weren't there. I was just about to say let's leave when one of the clerks who saw us and didn't say anything earlier, asked if we wanted to try the dresses on. My sister then said " well I didn't plan on just walking around the store with the dresses. We 've been here 10 minutes and no one has said a word. It also wasn't busy. ". Then the clerk asked if we made an appointment. Finally she put my sister ( MOH) in a fitting room. She put on one of the convertible dresses and didn't know how to wrap it. We had to ask the clerk to show us how it works after just standing there dumbfounded. Also the prices on the website and information between us/cdn were inconsistent. Then we finally came back and the manager promised to take care of us. 9 dresses are being ordered from there and months later the service is still horrible. I get a call saying that the dresses have arrived and that the items need to be picked up within 5 days. My bridesmaid called twice because she was on hold over 8 minutes each call. When she finally got through my bridesmaid told the clerk said when she was coming to pick up the dress . The clerk just said ok and hung up. She didn't even ask for her name. I also took another bridesmaid to order her dress in Toronto and it was the exact same disappointing experience. We had an appointment and we were kept waiting. No one asked for our name nor cared. I had to go back up again and ask if we were being taken care of. My bridesmaid also came in to pick up my veil and it was completely wrinkled. They simply don't even care about proper presentation or care for the garment. Also some of the other dresses came in and whoever left the voicemail didn't specify who's dresses came in. I called back to ask and she insisted some of them were already picked up. She even gave me the wrong sizes for the wrong people. Also the up sell on alterations is a sham. Our clerk convinced all the girls to get a size larger because the samples "stretch". One of my bridesmaids picked up the dress and it is certainly loose. Looser than the original size she had tried on. Of course it's common that most dresses need alterations but this was ridiculous. For a place that's supposed to be convenient, the service and attention to detail and the customer is just awful. Overall the customer experience is a huge disappointment. Had I known it was going to be this much of a shit show I would have taken my business elsewhere without question. The prices are not competitive and they just don't care. Hire more staff and management and train them properly . This is unacceptable. read more

David's Bridal management team has contacted me to immediately rectify this situation. I am happy to see their effort in trying to fix this situation, and their concern with my happiness and resolve. I take my dress back on Saturday to be fixed. I will post the results. read more

We came in to look at bridesmaids dresses for my sisters wedding and we could not have been more disappointed with the selection and quality of the dresses at David's Bridal. Our "consultant" (using the term lightly) clearly didn't have the experience to really help us other than bringing in sizes. We asked for a few new criteria as the appointment progressed, with no change to the styles brought to us. Everything was ill-fitting and ill-proportioned. About 30 minutes into the 1.5 hour appointment we had realized there clearly was not anything there for us and ended the experience right then and there. Save yourself the trip and spend the extra $40 on a dress that has some quality to it. read more
