I have to admit, I originally came into this location on January 2nd looking for a wedding dress. The lady that helped me was new and wasn't the best help, of course I didn't know this at the time. I was the only customer in the store and no one else was helping assist her. She picked me out two dresses to try on and kept constantly reminding me she only had 1 hour with me. Needless to say I purchased the last dress I tried on and immediately had buyers remorse! My sister had taken a picture of me in the dress and every time I looked at the picture I cried. No bride should feel like this looking at their wedding dress! I finally told my mother how I felt and we called and spoke with a manger. Here is the GREAT part.....we went back to this location to try additional dresses to exchange. The stylist assigned to me was HOPE, and she is AWESOME!!!! She made my experience wonderful and made me feel like a princess! She took her time, browsed the racks with me, asked my likes and dislikes about different dresses. She had me try on three different dresses, all of which I loved. The dress I ended up purchasing was THE ONE! I could tell by how I smiled and how my parents, sister and Hope lit up seeing me in it. I am so happy and would greatly recommend Hope to anyone! She is definitely a great asset to this store and David's Bridal! Let me also give credit to the store manager, Angel. What an angel she was! She made everything seamless and was very sweet and caring with me! I ended up purchasing two bridesmaids dresses last night because of how great these two are! To be honest, David's Bridal was not where I wanted to get my wedding dress. I envisioned finding the perfect dress at a small intimate boutique bridal shop. After a full day of dress shopping and not being able to find "the one" my best friend suggested we stop by David's Bridal in Mesquite on our way home and see what they have. They were extremely busy when we dropped in (with no appointment) but they said they would try to work us in. We walked around pulling dresses to try on and hoping they could fit us in. Even though they were fully booked, they rearranged and fit me in. Rema, our associate, was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I can not say enough wonderful things about her! She truly went above and beyond. She asked me all about the style of my wedding, wanted to see pictures of the other dresses I had tried on, and really tried to figure out exactly what I wanted. The first dress I tried on was the one. Through the entire process Rema gave us her undivided attention and really wanted to make sure we were happy. She even let us stay even longer waiting for my mom to get there to see the dress AND happily put up with two 15 month old babies playing on the "stage" area. She redeemed an entirely frustrating and depressing day of dress shopping. The store manager even stopped by twice while we were there to check on us and make sure we were satisfied. read more

My daughter purchased her dress at David's Bridal in another city, but the alterations were done at the Town East location in Mesquite, TX. We waited until the very last minute and showed up the first time not knowing we needed an appointment. Maria Minjivar (sp?) was SWAMPED with her appointments, but she took some time to look at my daughter's dress. There were a lot of alterations needed. She got a good look at it, and then scheduled an appointment for us to come back ASAP because at this point we were only 3 weeks away from the wedding! On top of getting married in 3 weeks, the bride was graduating college in 2 weeks - trying to work out picking up the dress and the final fitting was a challenge. When we called to finalize the date, Maria was not in and we found out she was not going to be working on the day we had to pick it up. We went ahead and scheduled the final fitting with someone else, but we were disappointed Maria couldn't be there because we had so much faith in her. However, we never said a word - just scheduled the appointment. I guess the disappointment was clear in our voices because when we came in to try on and pick up the dress, Maria was there! I had an amazing experience today! This is my first time to get married, and Hope made the experience perfect! I arrived to my appointment early and started to browse the dresses. I had only found 1 that caught my eye. Hope then asked me some questions about what I liked and didn't like. She helped me in the dressing room with my undergarments and then gave me the dress I liked to try on. She then suggested a beaded "belt" piece to go with it, and it looked great! She picked out a veil, and I immediately fell in love with the whole outfit! She was very patient and had another employee take pictures of me and my mother. She had 2 more dresses for me to try on to try different styles, but I eventually decided on the first dress. I absolutely love it and all the accessories she chose to go with it! It's like she could read my mind on what I liked! Hope was very friendly, and talked me through the whole process. I was so nervous going into the store, and walking out I felt great knowing I had a dress that was perfect for my wedding at a reasonable price! I would definitely recommend Hope as a wedding dress coordinator! I think the only thing I didn't like is that since they have to order the dress brand new it will take almost 3 months. Last night was my oldest daughters first bridal appt. From the moment we walked in we were treated wonderfully. Hope was our consultant, and she was great. We started by talking about the wedding and then showing her what my daughter was interested in. From that point Hope told us to relax and enjoy the show as she tries on dresses. The first dress was my favorite but it wasn't my daughters but Hope showed how the alterations, vail, and even jewelry can change the look of a dress. She is very knowledgeable and super helpful! My daughter picked dress #3, & when she came out in it we all cried! Once she decided on "the"dress it was time to talk business! Hope gave me the financial options and we decided to try and apply for a David's cc. I wasn't confident in my credit but Hope encouraged me to be positive. As it turns out I was approved, and Hope leaned over to me and whispered, "see its destiny". As I looked at my oldest daughter in the most beautiful wedding dress I started to cry (again) I agreed & said "we're buying a wedding dress!" It was truly a beautiful moment for us both. I had a great experience with Britney at David's Bridal. I went on a weekday as I didn't want it to be too crowded. There were only two other people trying on dresses, which was awesome. My mom and I perused the dresses a few minutes before my appointment. Britney came over and introduced herself as the manager. She asked what I was looking for and my budget - I told her and she gave me some suggestions that fit was I was looking for. I was supposed to have a different consultant once my appointment actually started, but Britney ended up helping me the whole time, dressing room and all! She was a blast to work with and helped me find an amazing dress that was within my budget! She gave me her honest opinion and wasn't pushy at all, which had been my previous experience as a bridesmaid/friend of the bride. I chose not to do alterations at the store. It was going to cost almost as much as I paid for the dress. Going to get that done elsewhere if needed (most likely just a hem). Thank you so much for your help Britney! read more

Ms. Rema was so helpful and kind. My mom , maid of honor and my self were very delighted with the superstar customer service provided by her. She shows passion in making sure brides enjoy every moment of their experience. she was interested in making me happy verses making a sale. Not only did I try on some of my favorites she picked out some for me to also try on. If I did not like an dress she ask what it was about the dress I did not like and provided information on how the dress could be alter. I love the whole experience and because of her I felt comfortable buying my dress. I said Yes to the dress and cant wait till my spring wedding. Rema deserves a promotion and her own store. She is one of the many reasons I would recommend David bridal to any of my friends and family. I cant wait til November to get my bridesmaids fitted and see Rema again. I want to first start off by saying I am not a bride, but the ladies here made me feel so special. I shared with the office manager that I read on google their reviews and they were horrible. I was very skeptical of going to this location but it was the closest to my house. When I walked in I was greeted by the office manager, she confirmed my appt and told me how long I'd have to wait and pointed me to dresses I would be looking at after showing her pics from their online catalog. Here comes the good part: my dress specialist was Remah. She was professional, sweet, and went above and beyond to find dresses for me. She could tell when I didn't like a dress and she went to help me find others. She even took photos for me and helped me FaceTime a friend for his approval of my dress. Her professionalism was above a 10!!!! I ended up finding the perfect dress in my size and walked out of the store feeling great as if I was a future bride. You guys are great!!! This location did not even know what I had experienced at the other store and they were very helpful on a busy Saturday before they even knew what happened. It was only after I looked at Bridal shoes and accesories that I explained the bad experience I had at the North Dallas location. They were amazing in correcting an issue I had with the other store by helping me get a dress exchanged and shipped quickly and remained professional about my experience with the other store. I had an amazing experience this past weekend at David's Bridal in Mesquite, TX. I purchased a gown the week before and after having it in my closet for a week I realized that it was not the dress. I came back to the store and the management team was extremely helpful with this issue. They were very polite and offered that I get another dress for the same value or higher. Soon after, I set up my second appointment. I arrived and received a warm welcome. My consultant was Amanda M. and she was absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful and patient. In attempting to make a decision between two gowns, Amanda did not mind helping me as I got in and out of both dresses. She really wanted to make sure that I said Yes to the dress I absolutely loved. In the end, that is exactly what happened. I said Yes to the most beautiful dress. If you can, get a consultation with Amanda...she's great! read more

I was intimidated to try on wedding dresses and to work with a stylist but my experience working with Amanda Morrison at David's Bridal-Mesquite was excellent. Amanda introduced me to new styles and found the right fit for my body. She listened to my wish list and found several options that checked every box. I also appreciated that Amanda knew when to give me privacy and when to step in. Additionally, she made sure I was not overwhelmed by keeping the dressing room neat and limiting the number of dresses hanging around me. We started with just a few and added and took away as we went. She was encouraging, professional, personable, and knowledgeable. I found the right dress and rang the bell. I was in this location on 3/09/15 and I have to say that Hope was great! She allowed us to look around at all of the beautiful dresses and pick out our favorites and was spot on when I told her what I was looking for! Her knowledge of the dresses was incredibly helpful and I actually said yes to a dress within an hour with her help! She herself is an absolute sweetheart and made my wedding dress shopping experience one to remember! The manager there was also incredibly sweet and a joy to be around! I will agree with other reviews when they say that the alterations department is a different ball game... When I was making the appointment with Irma she seemed short and acted as though I was an inconvenience. My associate Rema was the absolute SWEETEST!!!! She was very knowledgeable and honest. Her honesty and genuine sweet personality and behavior was what made decide to go ahead and get the extra package! Had it not been for her extremely outstanding customer service I would have purchased the dress and maybe the veil only. On Friday night May the 5th 2017 with exactly one hour and half before store closing my daughter had a complete bridal melt down and her wedding was the next day. Bottom Line she needed a whole new dress urgently. Our sales associate was Empriss and I can not say enough kind words about her. When arrived my daughter was still in tears. Empriss was so compassionate and caring and calmed my sweet daughter almost immediately . She brought in all the dresses she thought my daughter would adore. We found the perfect one! She looked amazing in it. The customer service was amazing and truly I can not say enough about the sweet lady named Empriss. The staff is awesome! All of them are really nice and attentive. I had already bought my dress two months ago at the David's in North Dallas, but all of a sudden I felt it was not the "one". So I went there and told them and they treated me so right, Claudia helped me a lot, like Oh my God! She knew exactly what I was looking for, giving me advices and without pressuring me or nothing, on the contrary, I loved her because she made me feel so comfortable and familiar so it wasn't hard for me to feel a good vibe, and I ended up getting my dream dress thanks to her! I had a wonderful experience at David's Bridal at the Mesquite location. I scheduled an appointment for 11:00 AM Sunday morning. There were not a lot of other people in the store which was a plus. The staff was very friendly. Rema assisted me throughout my appointment and she was awesome! She helped get me into all of the dresses and pulled some beautiful ones for me to try on. She was very sweet and helped me to feel very comfortable at the appointment. Thanks to Rema, we were able to find a beautiful dress on sale within my budget. I was very pleased with this visit and would recommend requesting Rema to assist with any future bride's appointment. I feel that she was essential to making it such a great experience. read more

I had a wonderful experience here with Hope! As soon as we walked into the fitting room she made sure that I knew she would only listen to me and bring me dresses that I wanted to try on. She didn't let the opinions of the others with me get in the way. The second dress she brought me was the one and she helped me find all of the accessories. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it for any one else. I would recommend going on a weekday instead of a weekend. I went on a Monday and there was only one other customer trying on wedding dresses. I had personalized attention and found the perfect dress. Even one of the managers came over to help me out! We had scheduled an appointment during the week so it wasn't very busy. They were running behind but our consultant still came over and introduced herself. She definitely made up for us having to wait and was very professional. I would highly suggest using Hope. She listened to what I asked and had a great eye for pulling dresses with the things I was looking for. My only complaint is that I was torn between 3 dresses and people kept coming over and taking them off the racks. I understand not wanting a bride to have 15 dresses at once but I would have preferred to keep my favorites close to help make a decision. THis is an absolutely WONDERFUL place to work with. Our family had a special situation to work around and they were more than accomodating. My daughter's best friend had been killed in an accident several years ago and her mother is one of my good friends. She would never be able to experience wedding dress shopping for her daughter, So we invited her to go with us. My daughter had already found her dress along with Carla's help, and had it fitted and is picking it up. But we had scheduled a day with this friend and David's bridal and Melissa, one of the mgrs. made the day just like it was the first time. We all cried and it was the best day ever.
