Okay! So I am a bride to be and my experience with this location was stress free! I am not a bridezilla, so I arrived with an open mind and a ballpark price range as my guide. Mia assisted me, and she was very efficient and thorough! She really helped me narrow my options. The selection varied greatly from very affordable to "OMG who can afford that price??" I think this location in particular was very tidy and organized. Great selection, and efficient service as well as a wide selection of sizes. The bridal consultant was incredibly unprofessional and was pressuring my friend to hurry up from the moment the appointment started. When the bride was getting into the dresses she would disappear and if she was there to help she would leave the door wide open as she was changing. I tried to just slightly close the door to allow the bride some privacy and the consultant yelled at me. Not only did this make the bride uncomfortable, it ruined the aspect of the reveal. During the 2nd appointment, Lisa helped me pick out a dress that was a little different than the style I wanted, but it was a gorgeous and timeless look. When I looked at the price tag, I was amazed because it was well under the $500 budget I was looking for! A few weeks later, when I was holiday shopping for Black Friday, I noticed there were some discounts available on the dress that weren't available earlier. This review is based on my 4+ past visits to this store. The first time was when I tried on some wedding dresses for myself. Happy and excited, I already had an idea of the styles that I liked and saved them on their website so I could easily pull it up. The stylist that I had was helpful and I chose the perfect dress for me- great, I was happy. Several weeks later, I come to pick it up when it arrived at the store. I tried it on and was confused- it was sleeveless which the one I ordered had long sleeves. Turns out my stylist ordered the wrong dress. Ok. Mistakes happen. They reordered it and were about to charge me $30 more. I told them it was their mistake and a manager happens to overhear and didn't charge me anything for the reorder. Ok good. I come back again once the dress arrives, great, it's the correct dress- so I set up an alteration appointment. I go to the appointment and it took over two hours long!! The alteration lady pinned me all up and decided it was wrong and had to do it again- she said she was tired. Over two hours later, I leave. I came back to pick my altered dress, tried it on, and the sleeves were too tight at the armpit. I didn't even gain any weight! I had to get altered again to come back again. I come back once I pick up my dress and it's still not comfortable but it'll do. I want nothing to do with David's Bridal at that point. That is the end of my wedding dress saga. But wait- there's more!! Fast forward a year later (today) I had to go to that store because I am a bridesmaid. I was dreading it but it's the closest David's Bridal to me so I had to go. As I'm walking with an associate who was asking me questions and helping me out, her coworker comes over, looks as me, and asks if I was DoorDash. I'm there looking confused because why would you think that? I'm not holding a big bag or anything, just a small purse. The lady helping me out said no, and her coworker continued to say that if I was, she wanted to see what food she got. I look over to my husband who was there with me and mouth "what the fuck" to him. I don't why she thought that or she was just racist. I felt insulted because I absolutely had no look to myself showing I'm bringing in food. Anyway. I got my dress and got out of there. I hope to never go there again. I went over the weekend for my sister in law's wedding dress fitting and from the beginning the service was sub par. We were told over the phone that the dresses we initially wanted to see during the appointment weren't available to look around and take a picture of the tags but don't pull the dresses off the rack. Then miraculously the dresses we originally wanted to see were available and when I see how this woman dragged the dresses from the racks across the floor and continuously during the experience kept stepping on them I could tell we weren't shopping here. Some dresses even had the lace area across the chest all ripped up. I can see why. The way I would've handled those dresses to take them to the fitting room would've been with care making sure they didn't touch the floor and not step on them. They put us in a dresses area with no riser to stand on and even made a comment about my sister in law's upper body shape instead of making her feel beautiful and confident. I was horrified having been a part of other amazing dress shopping experiences with family and friends, having to experience this. I will never step foot again into a David's Bridal or recommend it to my friends or family. We quickly went to another shop nearby with similarly priced dresses but experience was night and day and we definitely gave them our business. read more

My daughter chose David's specifically because her attendants are in different states and she thought this would be easier for everyone, my daughter selected her dress and , unbeknownst to her, the sales rep ordered a smaller size even though the size she tried on fit her largest area well. When it came time for fitting, her entire chest was exposed seamstress told her "you knew what you were getting when you picked this dress out". My daughter was in tears and the seamstress was telling her to deal with it. Fortunately I had pictures showing how the original dress fit and we had to get the manager involved. Seamstress huffed and puffed and gave us to someone else for the fitting. Daughter didnt get the dress she wanted because they had to rig an insert for modesty. Awful experience! I visited David's Bridal over the past two Saturdays and was able to say yes to the dress!! While my first visit was overwhelming as it was my first time trying on/looking at wedding dresses, my second visit was so much smoother. A 9am Saturday appointment was perfect since it is also prom season and the store was much busier as the day went on. I was also blessed to have Tiffany as my consultant on my second visit; she was absolutely incredible! She was helpful in allowing me to try on dresses from the previous visit, as well as pull some other designs. Once I was pretty confident in my decision, she whispered to me, "Let's go put on YOUR dress." It was even more magical as I put back on the dress that I ultimately chose. It's the little things From there, she helped with shoes, envisioning bridesmaid dress colors, and how to style my hair with a gorgeous hair clip. It didn't seem to matter to her that the dress I chose was being discontinued, thus a much more affordable option. I was treated like a princess for every moment that she helped me. I had a black tie event and the dress I had for the event decided not to fit the evening before. In a panic, I booked an appointment online the night before the event at David's Bridal desperate to find a gown. The online appointment system was very easy to navigate and I highly recommend doing this before coming in. From the first impression with the hostess to my consultant, everyone was so warm, hospitable, and welcoming. There was no judgment about the situation and they all genuinely wanted to help me find a dress. I believe my consultant's name was Olivia. She was so kind and understanding. She helped me try on several different dresses and understood the environment of the event. In the end, I found the perfect dress and accessories to match! I'm so thankful for her hospitality. Horrible, uncomfortable experience. First of all we had an appointment. Went in we were not greeted by anyone. So, went up to a podium and were told to look at dresses, while we wait for the consultant (who was late) Not which dresses or where to look. We began looking at Clearance dresses (They were the only ones with sizes shown). Finally, our consultant came. We showed her 2 dresses (on clearance). She pulled them to try on. That was it! She never asked about a particular style or anything. The one dress was dirty and out of shape. The other was torn. We were not particularly looking for a clearance dress. Especially, a dirty, ripped one. Our consultant never pulled a dress. Never even accompanied us to look at them. At one point, my Mom was looking for more (not clearances) dresses. Another consultant came to her and told her she couldn't look at those, they were theirs to pull by sizes. However, our consultant never pulled one. So, in actuality we had only two dresses to choose from. It was a terrible waste of time, we left extremely discouraged. Don't waste your time with David's Bridal. Yesterday I came in for my first ever bridal consultation with two friends. My consultant was Olivia and she seemed quiet at first but from there on it became apparent she just didn't care much about helping me find something nice. Maybe she was having a bad day or something but we all felt she did very little to enhance the experience. Besides dresses I chose beforehand to try she gave me two others that were completely unflattering and falling apart (had holes, runs in the fabric, the bottom of one was turning gray/brown). I am not sure why these are allowed on the salesfloor. On the first dress, she asked how I would rate it 1-10 and added a belt but then she never asked that about any other dress or spoke unless spoken to the rest of the consultation? She did add two veils to other dresses which were beautiful veils but did not match the dresses. I thought maybe my expectations were just too high but the bridal consultant right beside us was so great with her bride asking what she could do to help, how she liked the dresses, letting her know what was working, etc. Being that Olivia is a salesperson this was very odd to everyone in my party and we were not happy with the service. However, everyone else in the shop was super friendly including the host at the front. **It was not an issue because I had friends to help but do keep in mind that currently due to Covid-19 the consultants cannot come into the dressing room to help you with difficult dresses/zipping up.** read more

I had a great experience! Alix was amazing, I walked in on my own just for the fun of it when I starting looking for my wedding dress. I wanted to try on a strapless dress to see how I looked in one. Even though I did not have an appointment Alix took the time and allowed me to try on dress, which turned out to be the one!!!!! Then when it came time foe alterations Fernanda was amazing, I was worried about now wearing my strapless dress, well no worries with Fernanda she altered the dress perfectly and I had no worries walking down the isle! I had a wonderful experience with David's Bridal with Tiffany S. And Marialba R. I went to another bridal shop before David's but I wasn't 100% on the dresses there and the lady seemed like she was trying to make commission and wasn't really listening to what I was looking for in a dress and they were too expensive. Honestly when I started looking at the dresses on that racks at David's I started having doubts but once I started trying them on I found a few that I really liked. I liked how they helped me rate the dresses and used process of elimination. Then I found the one. And it has pockets! She heard me mention pockets and that sealed the deal for me first. . After getting all of my bridesmaids dresses, I went back in just to look at all the dresses online to make sure that everything looked OK for my wedding in December. Come to find out we were misled while there picking out the bridesmaids dresses for three of my ladies, two of the girls got one fabric one of the girls got a different fabric so I ended up in total with five girls and one type of fabric one girl in a different type of fabric. When I called, they first tried to blame me saying that we were aware of the difference. I said that that is NOT accurate as I was there and my only requests were same color, same fabric, and that the girls could pick out whatever style they wanted. Their consultant was the one that messed up and now I'm having to pay the difference in the dresses, AND THE ARRIVAL TIME FOR THE DRESS IS 10 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING. They can not do anything to help rectify their mistake, or expedite the order which is extremely disappointing. I also had my online order for my groomsmen's ties get pushed back to my wedding date and all they could do was cancel the order entirely. It's really disappointing after they messed up the girl dress which we had budgeted for because I used the consultant and thought that they knew which dresses would be in the same fabric and would be able to get us what we needed and now I have added stress of hoping the correct dress comes in time. read more

I have heard you really need to have an appointment here or it's almost impossible to get help. Well, I did not know that going in, so I didn't have an appointment. I also didn't have a problem getting help any of the times I went in and I was always able to get help from the same person (I wish I could remember her name). I went in searching for a Mother of the Bride dress as my oldest daughter was getting married. I'm a plus-size woman, so I didn't have high hopes about finding anything. I was wrong! The lady helping me was able to pull at least 10 beautiful dresses in my size for me to try on. If you need help in the dressing room, and most women do with these types of dresses, they are more than willing to give it. I was one of the people who needed help in making sure everything was tucked in and zipped, etc. This is not a good time to be shy, people. If you need help, then they are gonna see all your goodies... it just is what it is. But, I will say this, the lady helping me was very friendly, polite, and professional. She even excused herself when she was helping tuck things (ok, let's just say the word... boobies) in. Because I have such large boobies, she was even able to find me a bra to help tuck them in even more. I was shocked they had strapless bras in my size. I'm not going to tell my bra size, but you ladies who are over a DDD know what I'm talking about when I say it's hard to find a bra! There were three dresses I absolutely fell in love with and it was very hard to narrow it down to just one. If I could give them zero stars I would. We went to the Orlando location and the SA was very rude and rushed us. We were scheduled for bridesmaids dress and a reception dress for the bride. There was another party there at the same time as us (both parties had the same appointment times). The SA said we only got one hour to shop which didn't give us enough time (even though the bride clearly indicated we'd be shopping for bridesmaids dresses and reception dresses when she called to book the appointment) to look at bridesmaid dresses and the reception dress for the bride. When our hour was up the other party was still being attended too and still looking at dresses. Not sure if race played a role as my party was Latina and the other was white ( but it definitely felt that way). Day of the wedding my zipper broke and I had to be sowed into my dress. $200 down the drain! By your dresses somewhere else and save yourself the headache. read more

Three David's bridal dresses later and I wore my original.... I bought my dress in 2019 at David's Bridal in Salt Lake City Utah. Insert Covid and repeated wedding cancellations which helped spur a brand new 20 lbs to be added to my body. When I went to my fitting in 2021, my fears were confirmed. My dress didn't pass my hips. The bridal consultant was so kind and helpful and assured me that everything was going to be just perfect. She immediately got into action and helped cheer me up by finding another breathtaking wedding gown and a comfortable reception dress so I would be able to dance into the night. Insert KETO. 20 lb weight loss and viola..... I was able to fit into my original dress. (The one I had dreamed of for years) My original dress made my day more special and beautiful than I could have imagined! Thank u David's Bridal Orlando! You made my day all the more special. Bought a dress with a stain because I love it. The staff told me to take it to the laundry that they will take either off. Took it to the dry cleaners to wash it and the dress by the bust started to get unsew. I didn't even wear it... my wedding was December 27. I've visited this location several times in the past for other weddings and a couple recently for my bestie's upcoming wedding. We visited once to look for the bride's dress and then most recently to shop for bridesmaid dresses. The store is adequate. There are a lot of different choices in a wide range of prices. The discount area is tough since those are pretty much as is and can't be special ordered. It works okay for a bride if she finds one she likes, but for bridesmaids it's pretty tough to find the same style/color to accommodate multiple people of various sizes. Customer service is lacking. Not sure if it's a case of understaffing or not. The people that work there are all pretty nice, but they disappear a lot leaving you to your own devices when looking for items or trying them on. I don't mind it because there's usually a friend to help with zipping and I don't feel pressured by a salesperson, but some people might want more personal attention which is understandable for such an important purchase. Overall, it's definitely worth checking out due to the options and the decent chance of finding an affordable dress. She started with the color my daughter wanted, brought out all of the styles that came in that color, so her sister could try them on, and within a short time we had the perfect dress!! Last Sunday 7/9 Me and my sister went in in a Sunday after brunch to look for my wedding dress. Unfortunately, we were told we did not need an appointment so we just walked in. We waited a few minutes before being greeted by a lady who was clearly eating. After that she proceeded to tell us we can only pick from the front 2 racks because we didn't have an appointment, which is understandable. We said let's just look since I already had something in mind. Surprisingly my sister found just the dress I wanted in my size. They got me and my sister my own dressing room which was nice but I did not feel like we were getting taken care of, AT ALL. I tried it in and knew it was the one. We had to ask for a veil unlike the other woman that we're getting taken care of. At the end of the day I bought the dress but felt like my experience was taken from me. Other woman were ringing bells, getting their pictures taken with the "I found the dress" sign and I had to ask a worker to take mine. Very unprofessional location. I work for a corporate company and would never have anyone feel any less just because they weren't aware they didn't need an appointment, specially when It clearly was not busy! I went here again for the second time to narrow my two dress choices to 1 with my Maid of Honor/ Bestie. My 2nd experience was just as horrible if not worse then my 1st! I got the same rude and disrespectful stylist who was unprofessional rude and nasty and very unhelpful. As My MOH and I were trying to decide between the two dresses she never gave an opinion or even try to help me in anyway. She barged in on my as I was getting dressed without even knocking. She just stood there as we were talking about the dress choices like she didn't care and didn't want to be there. I wanted a sort of combo of the two dresses that I loved and my MOH was asking if they had a dress that fit what we're looking for and she just ignored her. She was so bad and unhelpful that another's worker ended up coming up and trying to help us as she just stood there just like my last visit. In the end as I was switching back into my 1st dress with some help from the other employee to add something to it to give it what i was looking for, as the rude worker was lacing me up she said "This on is better you don't look as fat in this" mind you this was the 1st time she's said more then like 3 words to me and THIS is what she choose to say! I was dumbfounded and just wanted to cry at this point but I said "yea" and just walked out. I picked my dress but decided not to buy it that day cause of my horrible experience. Now I'm just very disappointed and not confident due to her making both my visits so horrible. Everyone was sent to help not having a clue of what was happening. They came back with the stain removed. I received absolutely NO apology ("I apologize for the inconvenience") would have been nice. They didn't care that someone was relying on us to get the right dress for HER wedding on Her most special day. No accommodations!! I walked out with a wet almost $200 dress and they could care less.
