What a pleasant experience in this store --- I came a few days before my ceremony to find some "Bride" stuff I could wear while getting my hair and makeup done. I waited until the last minute so custom stuff was out - I just needed something to get me through and maybe get a few cute getting ready pics. So I wandered in and was pointed to the back of the store by the fitting rooms to browse by the ladies up front. A nice lady who worked there came and asked if I needed help and she stayed to give me her opinion on some of the items - as well as tell me what was popular, what was on sale, and what she'd bought for her daughter's recent wedding. I mentioned I was considering buying some of the black lace "Team Bride" tanks for my two gals and told the lady that my friends were busty - like she was - so she went into the fitting room and tried it on to see how it would fit for me. She was so friendly. I couldn't believe it. I ended up finding some coffee mugs, a "Bride" tote, a zip up sweater and a "Mrs." tank. So it was a win for a last minute shopping trip with a very happy and friendly sales associate. We asked for a catalog since we were waiting and they didn't have one on hand and didn't get one til maybe 10 min after we seen, which was maybe 45 mins. The second we walked in was a bit overwhelmed with the sheer amount of dresses available but Tiffany and Jess (my Wedding Dress Godmothers) found me and helped my find the dress after 6 try ons. I showed them pictures of what I thought I wanted and ended with something completely different and perfect. They were was extremely patient and made sure I know it was only about me and what I wanted. They weren't overbearing and were so genuinely amazing. I go to this store to buy the dresses for my bridesmaids. I find 4 dresses for them and they try it on and they tell me no worries, we will call them each to make sure they are tailored to their fitting. they took measurements and I paid for all 4 dresses. they were supposed to turn the dresses in with the adjustments made. they told me all adjustments will be done by the wedding date. They called one of my bridesmaids to tell her the dress was ready but it was not ready, they then charge my bridesmaid $165.00 for adjustment to the dress so she could have it before the wedding. the adjustments cost more than the actual dress. read more

Ok I'm happy thinking Is solved my problem, my new dress comes, a whole SIZE TOO SMALL, she also gave me a size "L" slip and wrong size strapless backless bra thats useless. Im a plus size bride. 22 in regular clothes... do i really look like i would fit in a size L slip??? Im Beyond tired and frustrated making 2 hour roundtrip drives to get mediocre service and my money wasted. Even with a well off job took me a whole year and a half for these two stores to steal over $2100 of mine. We used David's for our wedding party and for the most part the sales ladies were great. The last time there, Sunday we came in for alterations, shoes and jewelry. My sales person was great. I found shoes and was looking at the jewelry. Both were BOGO and I didn't realize it. I was trying to find a bracelet that matched my necklace and the sales girl said "the shoes you picked are also buy one get one 1/2 off so you will still get the bogo with just the shoes and necklace. I went to pay and it was full price. Meaghan, told me they were not bogo as they were two items. I need 2 jewelry or 2 shoes as it was not mix or match. The signs said nothing about not being able to mix and match and I explained that the sales girl told me they were and would they please honor what was said. She became very rude and said no. After our wedding party bought 8 dresses, 2 pairs of shoes, and 3 pieces of jewelry for our wedding the least they could do is honor the word of their sales person. Our wedding gave them a good profit. I wish I had more time to look for something else cause I hate that I gave them more money. I will not use them ever again as her behavior was uncalled for. I came to this location after the Altamonte location was not willing to help me with an exchange after explaining them my situation which pretty much almost brought me to tears because I was stuck with a dress I paid over $1100 and could not wear . The manager at Altamonte was completely unwilling to even hear why , so I called the Millenia location and the manager , Jennifer , was so helpful , even just on the phone and told me to come in with the dress I needed to exchange and made an appointment for me right away to find the right dress for me . I came in an hour early and they took me in right away ! Alaina helped me find the perfect dress and was so helpful with finding the perfect veil to match the dress to the shoes , and I even ended up getting bridesmaids dresses , all in one trip . After two weeks I got very unprofessional text messages to let me know the dresses were in. No emails, no phone calls, just spam -like messages. During the one hour fitting I had to look and listen to the seamstress chewing her gum like a cow. Impersonal and uninterested. I went last night to shop for my wedding dress. When we walked in, the greeter was helping someone check out, so I signed in and waited patiently. She came over to us and checked me in but said she didn't know who would be helping us but we could start looking while she found someone. I had an appointment for 7:30-9, partly to accommodate my bridal party that came with me, and partly in hopes that it would be pretty empty and we would get more attention. We found a couple of dresses and about fifteen minutes after we checked in, someone came to help us get to a dressing room. I had seven people with me (I know... it's a lot) but other than us there were only a couple of other trying on dresses - another bride and a woman I think was trying on bridesmaid or MOB dresses. My consultant helped me find a couple of additional dresses and then mostly disappeared. I had a friend helping me try the dresses on and then my entourage sitting outside of the dressing room for opinions. When I got down to the two final dresses, it was my friends who made the effort to find a veil or headpiece or belt to try and help me make my final decisions. My consultant would stop by occasionally, but she was more focused on the bridesmaid/MOB customer. I did end up finding my dress, but it was through little help from my consultant. I think I was most disappointed because I made an appointment deliberately when I thought it would be less busy and I would have more attention. I bought my dress from the DB in Altamonte, but the bridesmaids dresses I wanted were only available for try on at this location. I brought in my bridesmaids over two visits. First visit: good. We only had to wait about 10 minutes (we had an appointment), but they allowed us to look at dresses while we waited. Our consultant got rooms for all 4 girls and was very helpful. We were never rushed and 4 girls bought their dresses that night. Second visit: brought 5th bridesmaid, it was much different than our first experience. Despite having an appointment, it was chaotic. Brides everywhere, consultants running around, I'm not sure if they were short staffed but it kind of felt like a free for all. The consultant we only saw once or twice had 3 other girls she was working with. My friend and I just handled it ourselves. We were pulling dresses and I was helping her get in and out of them until she picked her dress out. They couldn't/wouldn't match the sales price as what the other girls paid, so we bought it online since it was cheaper with coupon code there. read more

I honestly don't know where to begin and frankly have no words. In short, I am in the bridal party for my brother's wedding and being asked to participate in the day, that's about where the joy ends. I need something that follows modesty guidelines as well as coverage due to personal preference. When I purchased the dresses (there were 2-one for each of the ceremonies). The sales woman, Daisy, promised that if I bought 2 of each dress (4 total), that alterations could custom make a jacket. When I showed up for the alts appt with all FOUR dresses in hand, there began the nightmare. 5 hours in the store trying to figure out a solution, only to be promised the outcome that has yet come to fruition. I even had a sample of a jacket from a previous bridesmaid dress and left it with the alterations team. This process began in early march. It's now August, I have had multiple appointments and just as we near the finish line, I was told that they are out of fabric so one of the two jackets will be sheer (which defeats the purpose). I still cannot understand how there was enough fabric for the shell of the jacket but not enough lining (which is the same length) to line the jacket. Every time I go to an appointment the situation gets worse and worse. The awful part is that I received a reply from customer service after my initial feedback with a guarantee that this will be made right. Frankly, I regret stepping into the store, have already spent nearly $1k and what is supposed to be my final appointment, today, isn't looking to be promising. If the dresses are as unusable as they were during my last appointment, 5 days ago, I will have the possible misfortune of needing to step out of my siblings wedding because I may not have a dress. We are too close to the wedding date to start over and this is extremely heartbreaking. Shame on the store and the brand for over promising and not only not delivering, but making me feel awful in the process. I got engaged in June and started looking at dresses on the David's Bridal website soon after. My fiancee and I have a date and a couple of venues in mind, but haven't decided on anything yet. However, I was still so excited that I went ahead and made an appointment at David's Bridal. My appointment time was 1:30pm and I got there at 1:15pm. The stylist didn't come see me until 1:40pm. The first thing she asked was the date and venue. When we told her we didn't have an exact date or venue yet, her demeanor changed completely. Her response was, "well what are you here for?". I was taken aback and said I was there to shop for wedding dresses (obviously). She didn't ask me what styles, color, shape, or fabrics I liked. She just asked if there were any dresses I liked while I was looking around. Consistently throughout the appointment my stylist just walked away to go do something else. During my appointment I even had to put my clothes back on and go pull dresses for myself since she wasn't pulling any dresses that I liked (because she didn't bother to ask me what I liked). I fell in love with a couple of dresses and felt pressured to make a decision that day. She kept telling me that 99% of brides find their dress the first time they go dress shopping. I'm an indecisive person so I knew I probably wasn't going to decide on a dress that day, even if I found the one. We told her this and yet she was still pushy. Overall, not a great experience. The minute she heard that we didn't have a date or venue set, I feel like she checked out and didn't take me seriously. I've been dreaming of my wedding dress since I was a little girl, so yes I was eager to start dress shopping before even having my venue. I don't believe that gives the stylist the right to dismiss me. I made a follow up appointment in store to be courteous but after thinking about how unpleasant my experience was, I cancelled it. I was looking for a bridesmaid dress in lilac color. Honestly, it's not an easy color to find. I have checked Minerva, nothing there attracted my attention plus (which is minus) it takes 6 weeks or so to deliver, I have 4 weeks... So I decided to stop by at David's Bridal. Service was phenomenal from front desk till the management! Madison was helping me to find the right dress, she is a gemstone! She has an eye, she is very polite, nice, attentive, she knows how to listen and accommodate your needs!! She was super nice!! My daughter had been to many "boutique" wedding stores but could not find what she wanted in the timeframe she needed a dress. So, we had to go to david's bridal. We had a very nice experience with sales people, purchasing, and alterations appointments for my daughter's wedding gown. My daughter purchased a dress with a removable train which was attached with silver "hooks" and threaded "eyes" around two-thirds of the waist. As the dress was being altered, I asked the alterations person to ensure the "eyes" were in the proper place and visible so we could properly attach the train at the wedding. AT the wedding, while getting dressed, many of the "eyes" were MISSING, and I had to safety pin the train around her waist. We were in the BAHAMAS and I was SO LUCKY that I threw some safety pins in my bag before traveling!!!! This was a HUGE oversight, and could have ruined her day had not been for my experience as a wedding coordinator years ago. Attention to detail was definitely not a priority at David's Bridal. It was such an odd experience at first because of the masks and all the rules to follow but Alix was very sweet and helpful with everything. Let me start by saying, initially I wasn't happy with David's Bridal Pembroke Pines, Fl location, so when I walked into the Millenia Plaza location, without an appointment, my expectations weren't high! With that being said, my consultant Kelsey, went above and beyond to make sure I found the right dress. She pulled at least a dozen styles, although I only tried on about 5. When I found a dress I wanted but it wasn't completely perfect, Kelsey went to alterations and spoke with Val, who made my perfect wedding dress come to life. Val came over and had me refit the dress with what my alterations would look like and this actually made me CRY! Never thought I would be one of those girls that cries but at that moment I knew it was "THE DRESS". Thank you Kelsey and Val for making this process the least stressful of the whole wedding process! I had an absolutely amazing experience at this store. I made my appointment ahead of time because we were there on a Saturday. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a "congratulations on your engagement," and huge smile. We were there a little early so just browsed until our consultant was ready for us. Our consultant was Andy and he was incredible!!!! He pulled the dresses from my favorites lists first for me to try on, and then once he got a feel for my style he made suggestions he thought I might like. He made the whole experience so easy and fun! He was actually the one that picked the dress out that I chose! Of course the store was busy because it was Saturday but Andy made me feel like I was the only one in there! He wasn't pushy at all and respected my budget and style while at the same time helping me step a little out of my comfort zone with accessories. The sashes and different accessories he suggested I would have never picked for myself, but they all look amazing and I am so glad he made them! I had my mom and a couple friends with me and we all left happy and not stressed out even a little bit! Andy really helped keep things light and kept me from getting too overwhelmed in the beginning! The store manager, Haley, was amazing as well! She came and introduced herself a few minutes into my appointment and checked back a couple times throughout. She could clearly tell I was not into digging through the rows and rows of dresses, so quickly brought me back to a fitting room and starting bringing stuff my way. Alix listened to me, didn't try to upsell us, and within five or so dresses, we had the one picked out. It's beautiful, it makes me feel beautiful, and Alix's help made all the difference. This is where I chose to go when I visited my mother and sister to get the experience with them. I truly didn't think I would 1) Find my perfect dress 2) Buy it that day 3) ENjoy the experience. But, I did all of the above. Alix and Laura made me feel special. Yes, Alix had another customer, but the district manager Laura stepped right in to help me. The whole team stepped in and offered suggestions with headpieces and belts! It was magical. I found my dress and I didn't want to take it off! If I could I would be wearing it right now. I have never been a huge fan of David's Bridal, but after a few appointments at other places with no luck I decided to try it. The appointment started out great and our associate grabbed the dresses that I wanted (I had printed out pictures). After about an hour of trying on dresses I was a bit overwhelmed (my fault, but buying a dress is a big decision) and got dressed to go look at dresses myself. I went and walked around and picked some dresses while my bridesmaids looked for dresses for themselves. After returning to the fitting room area my girls started trying on dresses. Most were dirty or zippers didn't work. One of the dresses even had a huge stain around the breast area. As the girls were trying on dresses, the associate kept telling me that I just needed to relax. None of the dresses that we picked had worked, so we went back out to look at bridesmaids dresses. While we were out there, the associate told me if I wanted to try on my other dresses I needed to do it now because my appointment was almost over. I informed her that I had another hour of time because I had scheduled two back to back appointments. She went to double check and when she came back, she said that was correct. At this point I asked if she could pull some dresses for us because we weren't finding anything. The associate told me no, that she did not want to pull anything because we were "too picky". At this point I was not happy. I tried on the few dresses I had picked and then left. I went to another store in the area where I was given excellent customer service and not told no when asked for help or that I was too picky. I definitely will not be back to this location. I am quite disappointed in this location. Maybe it's the fact that it's a popular location (right next to Mall at Milenia) but any experience I have had here has never been quite pleasant. First of all, finding a maternity dress and pretty much impossible anywhere else. Even though they don't have an official maternity line they can pretty much alter anything to fit a preggo belly. The first time I came in was around the summer time when I was only a few months pregnant and needing to find a black bridesmaid dress for an end of October wedding. Pretty simple, huh? Black. However, the first time I came in I was just a walk in. I honestly though only brides needed to put in an appointment but I would suggest that everyone set up appointments because otherwise I feel like I was treated a bit like second place. I had to compete with brides and obviously the brides were more important to the woman who was "helping" me out. She didn't understand that I was 5 months pregnant and uncomfortable with my body and how I looked in a dress and how I would be 8 months pregnant at this wedding and even MORE uncomfortable. She just threw me this awful pregnancy pillow (that wasn't even round!!!) and gave me a few dresses and was back to her precious brides. Meanwhile the pillow made every dress look like a disaster. I was so embarrassed and yet she made me come out and show her the dresses. She would tell me they looked great but I knew they didn't. It's like she wanted me to just be over and done with. So I left.... with no dress. Fast forward to the end September and I came back. I had tried to go to other stores to find maternity dresses but being in your 3rd trimester and finding normal dresses to fit your big belly was just HARD. I ended up finding a dress that was made with stretchy material that actually looked quite lovely on me. However, the size I needed wasn't there and needed to be ordered and I would then pick it up when it came in. The price of this dress was ridiculous but i know they could get away with it because it's a bridal store. Not to mention because of my height it needed alterations so add on another $100 there :( The time came to pick up my dress and they had me try it on to see how the alterations went. However, it wouldn't zip. HOW EMBARRASSING!! We found out it wasn't me... the zipper was broken on my BRAND NEW DRESS. They asked if I could come later in the week to get it and I said no because the wedding was ijn a week and I live an hour away. Plus. I am 8 months pregnant. Just getting in and out of a car was exhausting. So they decided to change it right then and there. They had me go "walk around" for an hour while they fixed it. Yeah right. I just went to my car and turned on the A/C and napped. In the end we went through THREE zippers until it was finally fixed. And they never offered anything for my waiting. Not even a cup of water. My experience in the store was NOT bad. My mom flew to Florida for a few days in early February, so we thought we could go try on and order my bridesmaid's dress for my sister's wedding in New Jersey. We went to this store without an appointment, they were happy to pull the chosen style and size, and let me try it on without a problem. We went to order the dress at the front of the store and were very clear about what we wanted (and were paying for!) We were told that it was an extra $15 to have this dress shipped to my parents house in New Jersey. It would be shipped to the Millenia store for a quality assessment, and then to their house. Fine. Fine. Perfect. That didn't happen. The Millenia store called me about two weeks after we placed the order that my dress was ready, in-store for pick up. I told the girl that no, we paid for it to be shipped to my parents' home in New Jersey. I gave her the address again, and she confirmed it was the one they had on file anyway. Fine. Today is March 13, nearly a month after we purchased that dress - and we have not seen that dress. My mom called the Millenia store TODAY and we were informed that the dress has been sitting there... WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN SHIPPED TO NJ! They are shipping it TOMORROW. Nearly a month later!!!!!!! This whole experience has been miserable for a time that is supposed to be exciting for my sister and our family. I hope the Millenia store follows directions for their other customers because they did not follow them for me. We should not be calling the store over and over and over again in order to get a dress shipped when it should've just been shipped from the store to its final destination. :( read more

I am giving this place one star only because of the sweet lady that checked me in. Aside from that my experience was terrible and it deserves a zero out of five stars. I feel like I was not made a priority since I mentioned I had already gotten my wedding dress elsewhere and was looking for bridesmaid dresses. The first thing the associate that was paired with me said was the she had a bride she was helping and that I could pick out some styles to try on. Not only did I have no assistance selecting any styles but I was left to my own devices to try on the dresses. Some of the styles were too big on me and I had to find some clips myself (and clip them onto the dress MYSELF) to actually see what how the dress would fit properly. This is not the customer's job!! If I hadn't found the sales associate, she wouldn't have known if I had left the store or was still in the back struggling with a dress. Be more attentive with your customer service David's Bridal. I had an amazing experience at this location! I wouldn't recommend the davids bridal in springhill bc it's small and the staff was pushy. I had no complaints at all about this location. They were amazing!! I think I saw Nicole and she was very helpful and patient with me and the bridesmaids. I was very happy that I chose davids bridal. I recommend them. I found my bridal shoes on sale for $15 and had them dyed to match the bridesmaids dresses.. I only spent $20 including the dye for them. They came back really fast too! I'd say within a month or so. read more

It's one year later and I remain incredibly in awe of my experience with David's bridal for my wedding day. In fact.... my husband and I eloped last year. This year, on our first anniversary, we are having the "BIG" day with family and friends in a traditional, all out affair! I had my heart set on a one of a king Maggie Sottero dress from another salon, but when I went back to buy it - it was gone :-( My wedding party is from all over the country and we had already begun the process of buying gowns from David's. My bridal consultant saw how disappointed i was over 'losing' my dream dress... and began the gentle search for something not to replace it... but a new, fresh idea. She was kind, warm, supportive and genuinely interested in helping me recreate a vision for this day. Wow! Wendy... I cannot say enough thank you's for caring for me in such a beautiful way. I LOVE the new vision, the perfect dress for my winter wedding and am absolutely thrilled with David's the second time around. This is a different wedding with different needs and stresses... I didn't have an appointment, came in looking for a dress for a very elegant wedding and was seen quickly and was paired with Cassie. She was a gem and helped me pick out a bunch of dresses and dealt with me texting my husband back and forth about what he liked on me too (always need a second opinion). She was so kind and helpful. I normally hate clothes shopping of any kind because I am plus size and find it discouraging, but Cassie was so sweet and made it so memorable. read more
