I can't even begin to example how amazing this location is and their team. We had decided to move up our wedding up a year, so when I first went dress shopping my wedding was 3 months away. I am a very small person, I am an awkward not a 0 but not a 1, and dress shopping for me is always a nightmare. I have nothing negative to say about this place. The alteration team had taken this huge project of my dress and made it seem like it was a simple button sew on. The woman who helped me look and try on dresses was very sweet and also very honest. I was unable to get my size due to the time frame of my wedding, so I had to purchase a size up to make sure it was done in time. I was a nervous wreck, but the alteration team at this location is AMAZING. First, the alteration manager Ollie, herself saw how much work would be needed on my dress and took time to help pin my dress to make it perfect. One employee there deserves a raise, a paid vacation and so much more. She is such an amazing and caring person. Her name is Zarrah, she spent almost over an hour pinning and re-pinning my dress, showing me all the different ways it could be pinned and laid out. She knew all my friends and family are about 7 hours away, so every decision I had to make I was pretty much on my own, she helped me make my dress perfect. She made me feel like this dress was made for me. After speaking to all of my married friends, they all said the dress was the most stressful part of the wedding, I can't relate. My dress shopping and alteration experience has been so great and stress free. I am not a big reviewer but this team needed to be appreciated. They did an amazing job making my dress fit perfectly to me. The alterations were very affordable and very high quality. My consultant Anna was attentive and listened to what I wanted. She brought me dresses that I had picked out and ones she thought I might like and every single dress was under my budget. She didn't pressure me to buy a dress, in fact they told me they would hold the dress while I went home to sleep on it. Also got alternations done, it was a complicated dress and the lady doing alternations did a great job. Also came up with a really beautiful bustle that wasn't your standard french or american. It's a factory...with ridiculous rules. Went with my niece who had liked the consultant and bought her dress there. I went along to buy bridesmaid stuff for my daughter. I went in knowing that it is the McDonalds of the bridal industry, but come on. At McDonanlds you pay for what you get. At David's, a crappy veil is 400.00. And they refused to give us the discount because I wanted to purchase the veil on another day...I had driven 7 hours to go to the shop nearest my neice. I will not be getting the veil there, needless to say. But they could not have cared less about our experience. read more

when I first checked out the reviews on this particular location for davids bridal, I was kinda scared for my appointment today, thinking my first time trying on dresses was going to be a disaster. I walked in with my mom and my sister and saw a group of women, and thought "oh no, Im gonna have no attention on me because they cant handle more than one group at once". No. Not at all. I was greeted with a smile and a laugh by the woman at the front desk, and we were there 20 minutes early. My consultant didnt make us wait, and not only that, but she didnt rush us out either. She told me not to worry about the 90 minute limit. And, she knew from the beginning that I wouldn't be buying anything today. Regardless, she worked hard with me, and I genuinely had a great time with her. She got me dresses that I wanted, and a few that she picked out. She wasn't pushy, or tried to get dresses out of my price budget. Not only that, but a dress I fell in love with but wasn't sure about the top, the whole alterations team came out to see what we could do to make the dress so I felt great in it. I dont think I will end up with that exact dress, but I do know that I will be specifically making a meeting with my consultant for the next time I go in to try on more dresses. I went to David's Bridal for a bridal appointment on a Friday in the morning (I signed up for the first appointment offered in the day). I was greeted warmly and immediately met my consultant, Christina. Christina was friendly. patient, helpful, not pushy and attentive from start to finish, she only left me briefly a few times to assist another appointment and get more dresses for me. Awful recent experience. Overcrowded and not enough workers. Why they would schedule so many appointments at one time is beyond me. I made an appointment WEEKS in advance for my bridesmaids to try on dresses and we lasted 20mins in there before ending the appointment early. I felt bad for brides who were there with their family looking for "the dress" during a time which should be super exciting and intimate. Perhaps Davids prices are more affordable than others, but I would much rather pay a little extra for a more calming and enjoyable experience. Oh and did I mention, none of the dresses properly fit any of my bridesmaids... literally each bridesmaid would have had to pay for alterations with the Vera Wang Bridal Collection, which I find astonishing given the fact that Davids is supposed to be more catering to the average female. I went into David's Bridal expecting to spend a few hours with my friend trying on dresses and ended up being told that I needed an appointment. I was surprised and said I wouldn't need much help but she said it was appointment only because they needed to advise me, and generally help me. Seriously? It sounded like such a cheap sales ploy so we left and ended up at Bridal Belle on W Henrietta. Two sisters own it and I couldn't be happier about the service and attention to detail. Although I probably could have called them, they helped me regardless and on my schedule. Give David's Bridal a miss and try a place that is not just out to make a cheap buck. read more

Shop around before you buy. We found a beautiful dress for my daughtres senior Ball there at Davids Bridal. Because they have a no refund policy we didn't purchase it right away even though the consultant stated it was the last one and that they couldn't hold it. David's Bridal is a very nice place to go when it came to dresses. When it comes the employees not so much they had to special order my wedding dress because I lost some weight and they didn't carry my size in the store. So I go the call my dress was in so I went to pick it up and I tried it on. Well TALK about body shame the sales lady told me to lose more weight and went on to tell me what I should and should not eat. Yes I am a women of size by I have a medical condition and her words hurt. So what should have been the best day ever turned out bad. So now I come home to a wedding dress I hate. Over all they lost my business. I just hope she gets a better look at life. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This is the third time I've been to David's and the second time I've had Amanda. The first time we went was for my girls bridesmaid dresses. Amanda did not help my girls at all, forced 5 girls into one room, 6 including my mother and we had an appointment. She then continued to tell one of my girls that her dress would zip when she had the right size, when in fact she was measured it was her exact size. She was not attentive at all, nor did she care about my girls or myself. The second time I went back was to see one of the girls in a bridesmaid dress who wasn't able to make it to the first time. Not one single associate helped her, luckily her mom and I were with her to find the dress and order it. Today was the last time I went back to get my flower girls dress where we again, had Amanda. The only thing she did was point us to the direction of the flower girls dresses and post my name on a door. She didn't once help us or stop to ask how things were going. At the end of the visit I had one of my girls with me from the previous visits and she wanted to pick up her bridesmaid dress that had come in. Little did we know all of my girls dresses came in and half of them weren't notified. They then proceeded to tell me some of my girls were passed the pick up deadline, in which I had to take all the dresses home with me. David's bridal is an absolute joke and I am beyond disgusted with my experience there. read more

went into davids bridal on Monday. I did find a dress no thanks to them...i brought my mom, grandma and 2 friends. I showed for my noon appointment very excited as I've heard lots of great things. This was also the week of their sale which I understand can get crazy. A few minutes into appointent i notice my "stylist" (an older lady I won't mention name as multiple ladies on yelp have called her out already) is helping not 1 but 2 other girls at the same time. Finally I tell her my budget which was rather small to which her face told me everything she was thinking...not a great start. So I tell her what i like and what I'm thinking. She gave me a very limited 3 racks to choose off. At this point I'm only half hr in and extremely defeated. She seems to be getting agitated as i don't like any of the "sale samples" she did finally pull some out side my budget that were very nice and closer to what I wanted. However I find out later after that she was very snippy with my family and also wouldn't even bring a dress to me my grandma had picked out (this made me angry). Finally AFTER our appointment ready to leave With no dress, getting told "make another appointment" my mom hits the clearance rack. The stylist was less than enthused to see me roaming around for a small dressing room to try on ONE more 5 mins AFTER my appointment ended. Crazy thing....we found the most perfect dress on the planet for less than half my budget that almost matched my pics exactly. I would have never seen it if I'd stuck to their stylist. My daughter had an appointment for Bridal on a weeknight at 7:30-9:00. After asking the standard questions she proceeded to pull some gowns for my daughter to try. She told me to "go on in and help her" and she would "be back" This was her pattern most of the night. My daughter tried about 6 gowns on but didn't fall in love with any. Towards the end we pulled gowns ourselves that we figured out were more her style. She tried a couple and then at 8:30 the salesperson said to her in the dressing room "I hope you are not going to keep me here all night. You only have time to try one more. You can always come back in March" When she told me this on the way home I thought that was very unprofessional. Why make an appointment until 9:00 if in fact they stop you from trying on at 8:30? Standard is an hour and a half appointment everywhere. We had gone to 2 place prior to David's in the past 2 weeks and not once did we feel rushed or that we were annoying the salesperson. My daughter was very polite and kind even when she did not like something. Needless to say we will not be returning because of that experience. And we may have returned there to try more at a later date as the prices and selection were reasonable. Don't waste your time here as we were made to feel like we were wasting theirs. read more

I would highly highly recommend you think twice about ever shopping at David's Bridal. Yes, their prices are cheap - but for a reason. Their customer service is absolutely terrible. I bought all 5 of my bridesmaid dresses here (and only b/c they had the specific dress I wanted) as well as my flower girl dress. We spent well over $1000 in the store. My mom bought a dress right off the rack that was only $99. She ended up changing her mind, so we tried to take the dress back to the store. When we first got there, the lady at the front desk gave us serious attitude and said we needed to speak with the manager. The manager came out and was EXTREMELY RUDE and really did not care whatsoever about trying to help us. After examining the dress for about half a second (the tags were on and it was never even taken out of the bag), she clearly realized that there was nothing wrong with the dress, so she used what I'm assuming is their "go-to" excuse that "the dress has a scent to it." "Although it's a very nice scent, I could never in good conscience sell this dress to someone b/c they might have skin allergies". Now, I totally understand the whole skin allergy thing, b/c THAT'S MY MOTHER!! We do not use ANYTHING scented, nor do either of us or anyone in her household use anything with fragrance. So here's why this is even worse. There were about 15 more dresses that were exactly the same as my mom's dress hanging on the rack. What if someone tried on one of those dresses in the store and was wearing perfume? Then what? Would they take all of those dresses off the rack, b/c in good conscience they couldn't sell them?? Doesn't make any sense, right? So after spending over $1000 at David's Bridal - they would do NOTHING to help us out and let us return a $99 dress. Really really disappointed in the staff at this location and I'm really just shocked at how we were treated. Wedding's are extremely expensive and every little bit helps. So once again - I would think twice before visiting this store. read more

Amazing!! I came here three times and all three times I left with a huge smile and with an experience that was wonderful. The first time, I went looking for the dress of my dreams with some ideas in mind. I was paired with Lorie who was so kind and such a good listener and was able to figure out what I wanted through my rambling of ideas. We both set out into the store looking for dresses and what she came back with were just what I was looking for. Unfortunately the dresses themselves weren't "The Dress," but she didn't stray off too much from what I was looking for. And if she did, I welcomed them, because she was just trying to broaden my horizons, but wasn't pushy AT ALL, was totally accepting of my dismissing of dresses she picked for me. Ultimately my mom found the dress I ended up buying - last one in my size on the sales rack. It was quite tight, but I could still fit in it, but I wasn't able to sit and because of how the spaghetti straps were I couldn't raise my arms up too high. That's when Ole the seamstress stepped in. She was so confident that no problem she could let the dress out an inch and a quarter. I came back two more times for my fittings. The first fitting appointment Ole listened to my concerns and worked with me on what I wanted fixed. (The dress also was cleaned for the 2nd visit which was great too, since it was sitting on the rack for a while before I first tried it on.) The 3rd visit I had was the final fitting and it fit LIKE A GLOVE. It was PERFECT. Ole worked her magic and the work she did was SO amazing. I could sit comfortably, the straps were loosened but didn't look loose, and the dress looked brand-new. I am SO happy and SO relieved that David's Bridal was able to help me find the dress of my dreams and make it fit me PERFECTLY. I will definitely recommend this particular store and these particular employees to my friends who will be needing a dress in the future. THANK YOU! read more
