I don't ever leave any reviews online but I just mainly do not want any other customer to experience the same as I did from this store.. I came in to the store to place an order for specific dress I checked prior to my visit online. I visited the store so I could check the size and no other reasons. They took my order and I paid. They said that the estimate arrival is 30 days later. Many days passed, I realized that it has been 32 days since I visited this store. I assumed the dress is at the store so I called. Then I was told that the dress was not available at warehouse and the store received the notification from corporate the day I contacted with them. I just could not buy the story. Later the day, another manager called me back saying the corporate does not respond directly to the customer and they have to solve the issues within the store. It was true, I contacted with corporate of David Bridal and they pretty much passed the case back to the store manager. She called me back telling me that the person who was in charged for inventory was on vacation and there was no wired communication to follow up my case. This is wedding business they are running and they are doing things manually with false IT system to notify customer in advance. It is so risky to buy a wedding related dress from this store since there is a date I needed to work with. The manager tried to make me happy with solving the problem with willing to give me additional 20% of any other dress that they can pull out from their rack. I was surprised that they would still like to charge for other dress. I know this was mistake that they made but after hearing so much excuses, I lost my interests to work again with them. It was definitely poor management of this store and the skills of handling customer services. There are many bridal business out there..David Bridal is one of major big corporate business, specially their head quarter is letting handles store to deal with problems. Everything that could've gone wrong while trying to get my hands on a specific pair of shoes, went wrong. The manager, Marlana, was very apologetic, reassuring & I believe she did the absolute most she could've possibly done for me. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all but because of Marlana - I would've given 5 stars. The only reason I'm leaving 4 is because of my experience with Ashley's nasty attitude over the phone. We received very short notice that my daughter's high school would be hosting a prom. David's Bridal was our first stop and I'm so glad we went there. They had a wonderful selection and I was able to set an appointment for a 30 minute consultation. Shannon was so attentive and offered some really great options for my daughter. She never rushed us, even though we went over the 30 minutes, and was happy to help us look for options in different sizes and colors. 5 stars to the Alteration team!! Especially Ursula (sorry if I misspell her name) but she made me and my mom feel so comfortable and worked on both of our dresses so quickly. My dress was not DB dress, but she still manage to work so fast and knew exactly what needed to be done. She also made us feel so welcome and was always so positive and ready to work even when we were there so late, goes to show how passionate she is. Even though I was happy to pick up my bridal dress, I will surly miss Ursula and the alteration team! When I came in I was greeted right away and Ayda was the one who helped me look for gowns to try on. Kori also helped as well!! These ladies are AMAAAAZZZINNNGG!! I tried on dresses at a different location (buffalo, ny) and was treated terribly several times to a point where I never wanted to give David's any of my business. But I made an appointment anyway at this location and tried on about 7 dresses. I had a girl named Marina. (I think) she was perfect and so sweet! I LOVE my dress. She was so accommodating and even remembered me when I came back a few weeks later to pick up some thing I had on hold. My appointment was scheduled 30 minutes before because we had been trying on dresses all day and couldn't find anything, finally we gave up and decided to head to David's bridal. And although I needed the dress within a month and had a difficult size to find Beth was patient and did a great job in juggling both me and another appointment. Having heard that to avoid DB like a plague due to rude and/or pushy sales ladies, I was hesitant to even step into the facility. (I was forced against my will to come here to try on bridesmaid dresses.) To my surprise the ladies on the sales floor were very friendly and helpful. Honestly when I first went to try on bridesmaid dresses I was underwhelmed. I needed to find one I liked from the Vera Wang collection and a lot of the dresses were missing common sizes like 2,4,&6 to try on so I was limited to a few. I found one I was happy with and tried on the 6 which was huge, dropped to the 4 and it was still large however there was no two so the lady helping me grabbed a zero. I was unaware when I put it in and it fit great. I learned it was a zero when I went to buy the dress and she repeated the dress and the size out loud. I was taken back and asked if she was sure and we looked at the dress and sure enough it was a zero. It made me nervous to buy a dress in that size but I didn't have the two to compare it so I went with it. I went in today to pick it up and the lady suggested I try it on before I leave. I agreed and when she was placing the dress in the dressing room she said "oh, you ordered a zero" and then proceeded to look me up and down with a shocked look on her face. I told her how the other sizes were large and the zero fit fine yet I didn't have the two to compare. I ignored her rudeness and tried on the dress, which I was able to zip up without help, however could not get the clasp on my own. The dress fit great and it was beautiful. The lady comes over to me and asks when the wedding is and I told her March. She then says "Oh... if you eat too much over the holidays this won't fit" Honestly I was too shocked to respond and just changed out of the dress and left. Let's just say my self confidence was shook after this encounter which I believe to be totally inappropriate. I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more
