    3/8/2021-Update to my previous review…read more I have been contacted by the new Management in regards to my concerns. I am happy to say that all is being addressed and a resolution has also been provided. The new management team of Valiant Residential Management have came in during some of the most trying times for the current tenants but they have expressed that they are all committed to working with the current residents on providing timely repairs and services as quickly as possible.   Unknown to the residents of the Lakeside community, the entire new Valiant Residential Management team have been working 7 days a week in order to establish a ongoing plan that will address the urgent residents needs that will in turn establish a better connection to communicate with ALL residents of the Lakeside community. I felt assured that the Valiant Residential Management team's current number one goal is to resolve the URGENT issues of ALL the residents of Lakeside Community.  I look forward to the great postive plans that The Valiant Residential Management has in store for the Lakeside community.

    We live at a valiant property and have not had a good experience. All they say anytime we complain…read moreis they took over a property and are "fixing the bandaids" from previous management. However, as residents, it's been worse in communication and getting things fixed than ever since October. I really wanted & tried to like Morada Plano. The location and overall look of the property are what initially sold me, but the day-to-day experience of actually living here has been incredibly frustrating. The biggest issue is the consistent lack of timely maintenance and follow-through. My kitchen faucet had extremely low water pressure for almost a full year. I reported it multiple times and was repeatedly told that everything was "working as intended" or "fine," when it clearly wasn't. It finally got fixed last week, but only after months and months of pushing. Even then, the maintenance man said "if that isn't strong enough we'll put in a pressure washer." Surely he was joking but he was annoyed that I kept complaining. You couldn't even rinse the sink properly. But again, that seems to be the pattern here, things don't get addressed until they've been a problem for far too long. The elevators are another MAJOR and ongoing issue. There are two elevators for building B and only 1 for building A. They are frequently out of service. (Around 8 times in a year) At this time, both elevators are down at the same time, and this isn't a one-off situation, it's happened repeatedly. If you live on an upper floor, this isn't just inconvenient, it completely disrupts your daily routine. We live on the top floor so it's 6-8 flights of stairs from the parking garage. Security and access have also been inconsistent. The garage is now secured, but that took nearly a year to happen despite ongoing concerns. Before that, it was fully open, which raised serious safety issues and there were several theft issues. Key fob systems don't work so the entire building is frequently open to anyone who wants to go to any floor. Lots of door knocking from religious or sales people. The overall upkeep of the property does not match what is advertised. Common areas don't feel consistently maintained, and there's a noticeable lack of attention to detail. The "resident events" are also underwhelming and feel more like an afterthought than an actual effort to build community. Offering things like burritos cut in half might check a box, but it doesn't reflect the level of quality you'd expect based on how the property is marketed. Jeremiah is friendly but he can't even interact at events because they host them during working hours and he's giving tours. The other employee says he's not a people person. What's most frustrating is the pattern across all of this: delayed responses, minimal urgency, and fixes that only happen after repeated follow-up. There is potential here, but the execution, especially when it comes to maintenance, management, and consistency, just isn't where it should be. We've had 4 property managers since October. If you're considering Morada, I would STRONGLY recommend looking closely at recent resident experiences, not just the marketing. Living here has meant dealing with ongoing inconveniences that really add up over time. Not tenant recommended for sure. Positive reviews are from people who toured and were asked to leave a 5 star review. Any resident who posts negative ones will be asked to remove it.

    Ever since they switched over to these property managers our apartment complex has been TERRIBLE!…read moreThe office staff have horrible attitudes, never answer the phone, go on lunch at 12pm and won't open the office until after 5pm, and they pack their things to leave and go home for the day at 5:30. I have been trying to pay my rent since the beginning of the month but every time I walk to the office there's a sign that says "closed for lunch". I call throughout the day but never get an answer, i've sent emails and still haven't received any responses. The last day I attempted to pay my rent before I gave up I looked at the sign but the windows were opened so i decided to knock but no one came to the door so i went to check my mailbox and saw someone moving so i looked in and recorded the lady sitting on the couch watching tv and knocked again. She looked at me and turned away and i continued to knock until the head manager came and told me they're closed for lunch. I tried telling her I just wanted to give her the money order for my rent so i won't get a notice to vacate but she over talked me and wouldn't accept the money order. I asked the maintenance man if he knew the time they come off lunch break but he said he doesn't know because they take hours and hours and he needed some keys out of the office to fix on a unit but he wasn't able to get inside either. I also have pictures of the trash cans overflowing with trash all around it covering some of the parking lot yet, they still make us pay trash fees. There's trash all over the complex that they let sit for days before someone picks it up. They sent some guy out for pest control but he only came and sprayed behind my fridge and left. Ever since he sprayed ive been seeing roaches and he hasn't came back but we have pest control fees as well. I am highly unsatisfied and contemplating breaking my lease. Would NOT recommend anyone moving into the luna apartments!
