Eric the carpenter spent about one day a week at this project, regularly left a mess, did not complete assigned tasks. We paid someone else to complete his work. We are dealing with product issues still--on our own. I would never recommend Cox Kitchen and Bath.

But, a hinge on one of the cabinet doors broke. I went to the showroom with the broken hinge and Allison, the next generation of the family helped me. She warned that she would have to do some research on the hinge, and would have Quality Cabinets send me a replacement. Less than two weeks later a box arrived with not, one, not two, but six replacement hinges, in case another broke. Talk about going above and beyond- Cox Kitchens is the best.

It's like the best hometown hardware or car parts store that has been around for decades - they've seen it all, and are happy to help. The College Park / Laurel / Beltsville / Hyattsville area is really lucky to have a plumbing shop like this in business. Fergusons stores often refer customers to T.M. O'Donnell much like a primary care doctor would refer a patient to a specialist. Unlike a medical procedure, you can just go to the specialist first (T.M. O'Donnell) and get the parts and any info you need on the first trip! Remember to bring cash if you only need a small part or two, as they prefer to only accept credit cards for purchases over $10.

I was sold a graphite stringy substance in its place, but still had a leak. I went to Ferguson's plumbing supply and they had the whole spigot, but they referred me to TM O'Donnell. They even gave me a printed paper with directions on how to get there from Ferguson's. I went to this shop and was greated by 3 friendly men. The one that took care of me looked for the washer but did not have the exact size. He did get me a graphite ring washer. He stated if the spigot was still leaking from the handle, the problem was likely farther down the rod and to come back with the rod if it does. He was right. He did not charge for the graphite washer by the way. So I took the rod back to the shop. He replaced the end piece which also seemed to have a washer which was eroded/torn. I paid $6.43 for the piece. And it fixed the job. No more leaky handle. Now I can set my house to timer to water my wife's plants and grass. Definitely, would come back to this store. They are a wholesale distributor and seem to have a lot in their shop. If they dont have it, they can probably get it for you.

I had kept the original sample and when I got the actual floor I laid out a few pieces to check the color....seemed okay. After the floor was installed I noticed raised bumps on the entire floor and it looked dirty. The owner came out and tested the floor and said it was probably grout haze and suggested a cleaner. The cleaner didn't change the bumps or haze. Over the next 3 months we have been back and forth with the owner a few times, a rep even came by and said she couldn't see a problem despite the difference from the original sample to what I received that I showed her. She claimed she saw not problem. I contacted the owner via text and explained the experience and was never answered. I had suggested that the tile was possibly defective in my note. I was aware there might be a health problem in his family so I let a month go by and still never heard back. I called again this week and said I just wanted to find a solution even if it was other tile cleaners to try. He would never address/admit or take responsibility for the tile looking defective. Despite knowing I have an example of original sample and what was delivered. I think it is not good business to not stand by your product. I have since had another local company look at the sample and installed floor and they agree the tile is defective but Atlas has just dismissed the whole thing. Now I have a floor that is not what I purchased and was told it was not their problem. The other issue with the company is you do not stick with the same sales person through the selling process. This results in one person not taking responsibility for your purchase. I experienced just a bunch of people pointing fingers at each other and not taking responsibility for the sale to their customer. I would never recommend this company.

He makes every component by hand and finishes them with a water based laquer in the custom color of your choice. They are actually very nice cabinets. Communication was very good for months as the project progressed. Multiple site visits, responding promptly to questions, getting all of the specs for appliances, etc... Things seemed to be progressing very well. Then delivery day approached. The cabinet boxes were delivered, but only about 50% of the doors and drawers. I'm missing all of the shelves, roll out trays, and about half of the drawers and doors. I was assured that the remaining parts would follow shortly, and foolishly made a second partial payment. Then everything changed. No response to calls or emails. Silence. After my counter surfaces were installed and the other aspects of the project essentially finished, Koenig Cabinetry cut off all communication and says they have gone out of business. The cabinets were paid in full incrementally and i'm having to find someone else to finish the work at considerable expense. This will cost my working class family thousands of dollars in losses. I'm sharing this in the hope that I save someone else from a similar fate. I'm trying to figure out how to recover. These same folks also operate as KOENIG PAINTING and FINISH CARPENTRY in Baltimore.
