Great service, very friendly and they let you take all the time you want. There are a large array of glasses frames, but somewhat limited if you are covered by insurance and can only get the cheaper frames. There wasn't a HUGE selection of larger glasses, which I need because I have a very round/wide head, but I can make do. read more

Nichola absolutely hooked it up!! I waited ~30 minutes to be seen but I won't even hold that against them because Nichola, the attendant who checked me out, saved me over $400! I was planning on only getting a pair of glasses and buying contacts from Costco because it is typically cheaper, but during checkout she double checked my insurance and did the math for me to let me know I could get a year's worth of contacts (over $500 retail because I have an astigmatism) AND my glasses would be 60% off per my insurance! um okay???? like heck yes my dude sign me up. went to the doctor back in august, got to the point of trying to buy new prescriptions, found out i needed to have the doctor sign off but he already left, after i had just seen him and he had just given me the prescription. then i was told to wait for them to call me and make a new appointment. almost a month goes by and they finally call me saying i can come in. they only have the trials for my new contacts, we still have to order the full set. i order them, pay for them, they tell me we'll call you when they're here. another month passes no call. i call the store, no one ever answers. i call customer service who then calls the store, no one answers. very disappointed, still don't have my contacts. read more

I love it here. I have been going elsewhere and always felt like it was just salespeople trying to make commission. However, here at Visionworks, I was helped by Louise and by Dr. Kaur. Both are very friendly and knowledgeable and helped me get the best RX and deal on glasses. Will definitely come back here in the future! read more

The customer service here is exceptional! I came in for an appointment on the wrong day and they were able to squeeze me in anyway. The doctor was super efficient and thorough.The staff spent a considerable amount of time helping me pick out the perfect pair of glasses (which were super reasonably priced)! Had a great experience with them in 2018 so I returned at the end of 2019. Saw their doctor & ordered glasses. Explained very clearly that my eyes are very sensitive & certain measurements have to be taken or the lenses will not work for me. Asked him to refer to my records because last years glasses were perfect. He assured me he had done everything necessary. Picked up my new glasses on Friday & was unable to see clearly. Was told to "wear them over the weekend & come back if there is a problem." Well, there is a problem. Had to spend another 2 hours traveling to/from the store plus use sick leave from work because he was too lazy to check the measurements or even make the faintest effort at figuring out what was wrong. How about a little respect for the customer? I've been wearing glasses for 45 years. Do you really think I don't my own eyes & what works for me? Thankfully, Lisa & Nicola figured out the problem fairly quickly. Hopefully, the re-do will work. Still have to spend another 2 hours travel time to pick up the re-do. Very disappointed... read more

I went in there to get contact lenses and learn how to put in contact lenses for both attempts to learn how to put contacts in my eye I got an employee who's name is Desiree A. The first time she told me my eyes are slanted and the second time as I was attempting to put in the contact lens she said to me you have to keep in mind your eyes are chinky. I felt so uncomfortable and angry I really just gave up and wanted to leave. No employee should be talking like that to an Asian person. I called the store manager she said that she can help me the next time she said her eyes are tiny too and that she's really good at helping people put in contact lenses. My eyes are not tiny you have never seen me before, my eye shape is not the problem here it's cause I was nervous putting something in my eye while sitting across someone who was being racist towards me. So I'm never coming back here and I'll learn from a better place to put in contact lenses. read more

I came to this store on Monday 2/15/2016 about 1.55 PM to pick up my sons eye glasses. A female staff took care of me and gave me the eye glasses. When I asked her is it possible if I can change the case of the eye glasses with the white color case( because my son favorite color is white, and also when the first time I came to this store I saw there is a white color case). He replied; for that eye glasses only comes with that case. Oh Ok I replied. She didn't provide me with the cloth, so I asked for it. I was thinking if I didn't ask for the cloth maybe she wouldn't give it to me. She seemed like a new staff and she didn't know what she was doing. I was planning to bring my daughter one day to get the eye glasses from this store also. So I used this opportunity while I was in this store to ask the customer service about when my daughter is eligible (because she will use her insurance) for a new pair of eye glasses. When I was talking to the CS, the first female staff who took care of me was starring at me and interrupted and said : She asked me already about the white case. I wasn't happy and felt uncomfortable with what she did. I answered back : I wasn't asking about that. She said oh. Why she was so rude and impolite interrupted my conversation with the CS? She didn't even say sorry with what she did. Before I left the office, I asked the CS: could you please write the vision or the prescription of my son on the card? I told the cs the reason I asked for this because I lost the original prescription.She said( while she was pointing to one of the female optician) : I have to wait for the optician and she will read the eye glasses from the machine. Because the optician was taking care of another customer. I didn't mind to wait. After few minutes the optician was done with the customer. I was hoping she would take care of me. But she went inside to the examination room and the CS came to her and told her. The CS came back and told me that the optician will take care of me shortly. I kept waiting and was hoping wouldn't waiting for so long. When I was waiting, I heard the conversation from the examination room, the optician was talking and laughing so loud and I was wondering who is she talking to. I kept waiting for almost about 15 minutes and I started to lose my patient. I was also worry about the snow that was getting harder and I only put money for 45 minutes parking ( I didn't expect for pick up the eye glasses would take for more than 45 minutes) and also I had another appointment. I didn't understand why on the office hour like this the staffs could waste time for only talking and laughing and let a customer waiting. I asked the CS again: how much longer I still have to wait? The CS went to the examination room again and told them that I was waiting. I was shock when the first time came out from the examination room was a 'GM' named Shantell and followed by the female optician. I was shocked because I couldn't believe why a GM could do such thing talking and laughing so loud. She should give a good example to all the staffs that she is a good leader in that store. While I couldn't believe with was happening. Shantell came to me and asked me with the mean tone, without smile. I am a gm, What can I do for you? She asked me unhappily if my son got the eye exam from here. I told her that he got from the doctor office. She said I can go back to the dr office and asked for the prescription as much as I want. I replied back that I wasn't asking for the prescription, I just asked to write on a card liked I usually got from another optic. She said this is not another optic, this is Visionworks. The tones she answered sound like she challenge me. None of the optic ever gave me hard time when I requested this. I felt very uncomfortable at that time. Finally she told the CS to get my son folder and copy the prescription for me. While the CS was getting the folder, there was a phone ring and Chantell answered the phone. The CS came with the folder and she took out the prescription and I asked her please make a copy for me. She said that I have to wait for the GM again to copy it for me. I waited for a few moments and I didn't know for how long Chantell would stay on the phone and I thought that was ridiculous only make a copy I have to wait for a GM. Finally I left the store and I said it's complicated here. I didn't get the prescription, but I got a lot of disappointment instead.She was so proud with her position as a GM. It's good to be proud with your position if you showed it with a positive attitude and manner. People will highly respect you if you respect your customer and treat them right. She was so arrogant, unprofessional, unwise and the way she handled the situation doesn't represent a gm at all. Or maybe she lacked of experience as a gm. Because of all the trouble I got, I will not come back to this store. I'll share this experience with my family and my friends. read more

I usually wouldn't rate an eyewear store, but I am compelled to because I believe Joe and Reema are beyond exceptional. I was used to being treated like a number at other Davis Vision / Empire Vision locations from past experiences, but every interaction I had with this store exceeded my expectations. Joe was the one I first spoke with. He was super-friendly and answered all my questions to the point where I looked forward to coming to the store. In-person, he is just the best - friendly, very knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humor. Reema helped me identify what I was eligible for based on my insurance and aided me in selecting a great pair of sunglass frames. They truly treated me like their own family. After ordering my glasses, Joe called me when they were ready, and I could see wonderfully out of them. This was also a short-notice order that Joe did his utmost to fulfill. He was reliable and forthcoming throughout the process, which I appreciated, and I can only say I look forward to working with them again! read more
