I've visited this vision works twice so far and each time was very pleasant and professional. Their facility is modern and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Most importantly, you're not waiting a long time to get assisted. The doctors are detailed in the examination and the outcome of your results. They have a nice, big selection of eyeglasses to choose. I've used my insurance for my glasses but I have heard other customers talk about coupons they had which is good to know for future references. Went here about a month or two ago (meant to write a review then but forgot). Very friendly, straight to the point, no problems. Glasses are were supposed to come in within 2 weeks, got them in 1 week. Went to go pick them up, they make sure I liked them and that I could see properly. I didn't want to give any stars but being that I have to to, to make the review go through I have to add one sadly. I'm gonna start off with the receptionist... they answer the phone like they aren't happy to be there and two they don't know what the hell they are talking about. In March I made a order for glasses and have been getting a run around and it's basically may. Not only that the manage is rude as fuck! Instead of apologizing for the receptionist that wasn't properly trained, he rather raise his voice and cut me off. Honestly I don't recommend this eye glass place to nobody . read more

After begrudgingly dragging myself to get a much needed eye exam and new prescription, I planned to be in and out of the store by buying glasses online from home. I haven't found the process of picking glasses, getting fitted etc. in competitor stores all that helpful for me in the past. Thankfully, however I found myself staying at Visionworks in Rosedale, Queens NY for a few hours as I was 1) greeted, checked in and pre-screened by efficient and personable professionals upon arrival, 2) provided with a thorough, clear eye exam by Dr. Lasker, and 3) patiently and expertly guided to select a diverse set of new glasses by Ian, that finally meet the needs and desires I've given up on in past experiences. Thanks all, I think you've helped remove a lot of the dread I clearly associated with these visits before today. Went in just to ask if they accepted my insurance. They said yes, he asked where I work and he looked everything up for me. Tiffany explained my vision plan in detail (you would think I should've known this, but I didn't). Tiffany & Ken helped me choose my glasses. It was Ken birthday and the end of his shift, and he was still helping pick out glasses. Tiffany was so patient I had a mountain of glasses on her desk & kept changing my mind. She just kept saying it's ok and we would go look at more glasses. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Once I finally chose my 2 pairs, I explained I've been getting headaches & my eyes had been hurting because my prescription changed, and she said she would put a rush order on my glasses. Told her I had to be in class by 7pm. She made sure ahe waa finished in time for me to make it to my class. Both Tiffany & Ken went above and beyond. read more

Went there for glasses. On the estimated day I was going to get the glasses I saw my status swapped to pending. I called to asked if there was a new date and that if there was a way to expedite the glasses I was told I would get a call back later in the day on what happened. I called the next day to see if there was an update I was told there was no record of me calling to expedite but they will do it that apparently my glasses got mixed up in shipping. The day after that I called asking for the manager where he told me that the glasses had an error at the lab and were remaking them. I gave it a couple days and since I didn't receive an update I went to the store to cancel and get a refund. After I went to the Costco nearby they had my glasses ready 4 days after I ordered them. I am still waiting on my refund from them. The people there are great and doing what they can but the service of what they are told to do is horrible. read more

Had the most awesome customer service at this visionworks location. I had never used them before but with the BOGO half off I had to give it a try. From the temperature checks at the door, to the nicest optometrist who answered every question as we talked about the show friends, to Jeff who made sure we chose the best glasses, everything was outstanding. VisionWorks easily tops their competitors with customer service, price and state of the art equipment. They carry a large selection of eyewear for the entire family. They are clean, friendly and won't have you waiting around to be served. I went to Cohen's Fashion Optical in Green Acres Mall. They were overpriced and them heffers were very unprofessional and rude. I never pay someone for i professionalism and rudeness so I took my money and happy self to VisionWorks in 5 towns. I walked into the VisionWorks in Rosedale last minute looking to see a doctor and hopefully order a new pair of contact lenses before leaving for vacation. Ian was super accommodating. His service was expeditious and he was very pleasant. He helped schedule an appointment and order my lenses just in time. Dr. Lasker was also very nice. My daughter needed an "emergency" pair of glasses after hers broke while she was away. I happened upon Visionworks somewhat accidentally and WOW am I glad I did! I purchased 2 pairs of glasses for her at an AMAZING price and IAN was SUPER HELPFUL! He helped me figure out her size, and really guided me while getting her something without her being present! Her rx glasses were ready THAT EVENING and I was able to send them out to her the next morning. THANK YOU IAN and Visionworks! We will definitely see you for our next pair! read more

On two separate occasions I went into this store, to inquire about getting glasses and both times, the girls at the front desk were less than pleasant. They barely open their mouths to speak and do not know how to engage in a professional manner with potential customers! I am so tired of trying to patronize certain establishments when the customer service is subpar, at best....so I won't. I will happily take my business and my money elsewhere and would implore anyone reading this review, to do the same. There are so many people without jobs, that would be grateful to be working and a lot more pleasant. Get over yourselves! read more
