Pork belly, Sausage, Chicken, bbq beans over Mac and cheese, Coleslaw, Brews. 3 meat dinner with two sides.

Tried a new BBQ restaurant tonight. The Dawg House was full at 5 pm but we managed to get a small table. Ordering was easy from their menu. The nice lady that took our order was very friendly and was great to work with. We had the pork belly, sausage, and chicken dinner with 2 sides. Our coleslaw and the bbq beans and Mac and cheese tasted excellent. The chicken was kind of dry but the sausage had great flavor as well as the pork belly. The pork belly was tasty but we wanted more fat on the strips we received. The bbq sauce was average but their shake on seasoning was very good. The brews on tap, local rotational beers, were fresh and crisp. The restaurant was clean but the restrooms were not. We will return for a couple more meals, and a couple tap brews.

We went to the Dawg House for our 20-year reunion. Our group literally took over the restaurant, but the staff was very accommodating and the service was great! The Dawg House gives that back porch chill vibe. There is a variety of beer, wine, and food to try. The food was really good! Definitely give this place a try if you find yourself driving through or visiting Okanogan/Omak.

Great Food!! Stop, GO THERE! You won't be sorry. Rolling through town and was looking for some food that wasn't fast food. Ordered a brisket salad, a side of Mac and cheese along with a peanutbutter stout and a guava beer. Mmmm. The salad was delicious. The brisket was flavorful, the dressing was good and the side of slaw was such a nice surprise. You could actually see the fresh herbs in the slaw. They also had a huge selection of beers on tap. Only regret... is that I passed on the cheese cake. Was happy to support a mom and pop style restaurant. So, if you're debating this stop vs the taco truck that is right smack dab next to their smoker.... GO FOR THE BBQ!

Recycle a building, add some friendly folks behind the counter making an excellent pork sandwich, and you have a winner. Great use of my $10, truly!

We came for an early early dinner (kids!) so we could walk in and there were open tables but by the time we left, the place was full! As the name of the restaurant says it's a bakery as well. They showcase the different breads in their bread bar. More about that later. Let me warn you... the portions are large! I got the spinach lasagna ($23.50) which came with a salad and the bread bar. When I got the salad I was shocked to see a huge, almost entree sized salad. The lasagna had ricotta, spinach layers smothered in Alfredo sauce. It was delish but I think they can go a lot less on the sauce. It was buttery, almost too buttery as well. But it was dang good! So that bread bar... if you love bread like I do, you'll be in carb heaven. They feature different kinds of bread baked that day- there was the usual French bread but they had flavors like rosemary, garlic, black pepper and the most unusual - curry cranberry. Don't be afraid to try the different flavors. The cranberry curry ended up being my favorite. Behind the bar is where you can find the different kinds of butter and olive oil. If you want balsamic vinegar, you'll need to ask your server. Sadly I gorged on the bread and couldn't eat my meal. My daughter ordered the HALF order of Seafood Louie ($20.80). When it came to the table, we burst out laughing because the thing was full entree sized where we come from. It was chock full of fried calamari, huge grilled prawns, little bay shrimp and an egg. She had a hard time finding a starting place to take the first bite without it spilling over. She really like the thousand island dressing too. My suggestion is to get it on the side to add as you work your way down. Mussels & Clams ($15.50) was also a hit- big and plump and the broth went perfectly with bread. The kids buttered noodles ($5.75) were good but it was kind of swimming in butter. They could've used half the amount. But the noodles were nice and al dente. Service was great and very accommodating- a big shout out to Jesus! FYI, a tip of 18% is automatically added to the bill with option to add. If we're ever back in Omak, we're definitely returning! Actually we did come back the next morning to buy the bread but unfortunately we were there before they opened.

Not a bad place to enjoy sandwiches for lunch. Good service…read moreA bit pricey but fair selection of different sandwiches

There are several reasons for this, but for the purposes of this review, I won't include them here. Suffice to say, you should also make that one of your rules. But this particular subway restaurant does a nice job. It's clean, literally shares a parking lot with my favorite hotel in town, and they have pretty fresh ingredients. The kid working behind the counter does a nice job, and the vibe of the place is laid-back like the greater community Omak, WA in which it is located. The usual offerings are here, although I get the feeling that when I order a sandwich here and ask for something like say, spinach... They actually put some on the sandwich. Other places will put three individual leaves of spinach on there, and act like they've done me a favor. Which is to say, when you order a sandwich here you get what you pay for... A sandwich. There are definitely many worse subway restaurants in this country. This is probably one of the better ones. I've done my share of driving and road tripping, and can confidently say this place knows what they're doing.
