Despite this, I was instructed to complete another set. During that final set, I injured my back badly enough that I could not walk afterward. At no point was the exercise stopped, reduced, or modified when I reported pain. I still can't squat, my back isn't fully recovered. Afterward, communication was disappointing. When my husband and I later explained that we needed to pause training due to finances, we received no response. Regardless of certification or experience level, a trainer should prioritize client safety, listen when pain is reported, and communicate professionally. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Update: After posting this review, the trainer contacted me and offered me money to take my review down. Since he can't contact me he reached out to my husband regarding my review. I am adding this update for transparency.

Our substitute instructor, Cristina Arroyos, only brought out 10 foam rollers for a 25‑plus person class she stressed that foam rollers were needed upon my entrance, so I go in the closet frantically looking for in case there were extra at this point I was already 2 min behind , I proceeded to set up a mat for my partner and I .My partner was behind dropping off our children at Kids Club. the moment my partner walked in, she went out of her way and handed him her roller after refusing to give me one. The whole interaction felt disrespectful, unnecessary, and completely avoidable. It honestly made me feel sick to my stomach. This kind of behavior from an instructor is unprofessional and creates a negative environment for the class and I will be avoiding any class that she's at altogether, I encourage EOS to really take a look at this! I would've liked to sign-on to continue a membership here, but due to my job requiring me to travel at different times, it didn't seem like that was a viable option. It's difficult finding gyms that can pause memberships for certain circumstances. (I get it, it's a lot to ask.) There is usually just a handful of people or sometimes you might even have the whole gym to yourself. There's always music playing. I appreciate also that they do play Kpop.
