Really good burritos! Hole in the wall. Very short detour from highway. I am always looking for alternatives to fast food while driving up and down the State. This is now pinned on my list!

Stopped in after a short visit to Bakersfield on my way back to LA. Daughter and I each ordered burritos and ended up taking one home they were so big. Chile Colorado wet and carne asada wow. Chips and salsa too. It's a market a restaurant a deli everything you could ever want. Will be sure to stop by here again clean and friendly

***EAT HERE***So this place is right off of the Frwy and kind of in the middle of no where. But if you are a foodie that won't scare or stop you from trying it! The little cocina is inside of the market. We ordered the Chile Verde wet burrito and 3 Carne Asada soft tacos with authentic rice and beans. The beans needed some seasoning and where kind of bland but homemade. The Chili Verde burrito was huge and packed with big chunks of fresh, tender pork! The Verde sauce had good flavor but for me, it could have had some more spice. The Carne Asada was well seasoned and grilled to perfection! The corn tortillas were handmade and soft. Throw in the white onions and cilantro and OH YES!! HOT chips and homemade pico de gallo set this meal off!! You can also ask for the spicy salsa if that's how you roll. We got an extra large Jaicama that is made without powder! The ladies in the cocina are very sweet and eager to please. The whole meal cost us $16. They didn't have tamales ready when I went. The establishment and the bathroom is clean. If you are on the 99 stop in. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

Always busy but easy access right off the 99 South. Nice owners and great food!!

I had high hopes for the breakfast burritos here, but was met with raw potato chunks and 90% beans.

The carne asada here is incredibly flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned. It always turns out so delicious on the grill that I find myself wishing I could pack some up and bring it all the way back to Los Angeles with me! My dad absolutely loves grilling whenever we come to visit, and without fail, this is the only market we buy our carne asada from. It's become a family tradition at this point, and every cookout is something we all look forward to. Beyond the amazing meat selection, the market itself is clean, organized, and easy to shop. Everything is neatly stocked, making it simple to find what you need without feeling overwhelmed. The employees are always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help, which makes the experience even better. Whether you're stopping by for their famous carne asada or just picking up groceries, this is a neighborhood market that's definitely worth visiting. It's easy to see why my family has remained loyal customers, and I'll always look forward to coming back every time I'm in Bakersfield.

I'll definitely be making the trip back to this exact location because of how well I was treated!

Okay! why does free lunch hit different every single time?!…read moreI attended a professional development training and they surprised us with these lunch boxes! Yay! Tell me why I was immediately in love. The moment I opened it, I was greeted with a thick, generously stacked turkey sandwich that looked like it meant business. We're talking layers on layers of tender, juicy turkey, piled high with that crisp, freshly shredded lettuce that gives the perfect crunch in every bite. Even writing about it makes my mouth water all over again! The bread? Soft, fresh, and just the right amount of pillowy to hold it all together without falling apart. As if the sandwich wasn't already the star of the show, the box came fully loaded with a chocolate chip cookie,, a bag of chips for that salty crunch moment, and a little sampler of macaroni salad that was slathered in Italian dressing. So tasty! Honestly? Mouthwatering from start to finish. Whoever put these boxes together understood the assignment! (Haha) This is definitely a must try when hungry!

Since finding out about this location, we have visited this place a few times now. I really love the old school feel to this sandwich spot. You can either dine in or order your sandwich to go. Caesar's is hit and miss for me. Once in a great while it's one of the best sandwiches I've had and sometimes it's just okay. One thing I do know for sure is that I keep coming back because they have "that" clam chowder. My only complaint is that they are pricey and you can get a superior sandwich from other places. Parking is a little bit crazy during lunch time. Staff is always super nice here and the lines go pretty quick. I don't know if they have more than the 2 locations I know of. This location is not as fancy as the one on Brimhall, but their sandwiches are just as good.

I also love their giant sandwiches for parties! They have family take and bake meals, the garlic chicken is so good! Recommend adding it to your easy week day meal rotation! They also have my favorite clam chowder, maybe favorite even over Splash I recommend online ordering so you don't have to wait, their service is quick but they can get busy! Speaking of obsessions, Caesar's in general remains one for me and my whole family. My family loves when the group text says,"I'm getting Caesar's on the way home. Send your orders in now". A sure fire way of being the family favorite for the night. The folks serving the delicious food are still nice as can be. The prices are still astonishingly affordable. I almost always grab my sandwich and lasagna to go, but the interior is so cute I hope to make time to sit and enjoy my meal there in the near future.

The Western Burger was the burger was cooked rare to my liking the onion rings were big And flavorful by themselves, the cheese was absolutely some of sharpest Cheddar I've had at a restaurant, overall, one of the best burgers I've had in the valley, and paired perfectly with the sweet potato fries, which were very good but a little soft for my liking maybe next time I'll ask for them a little crispier. We also tried the loaded tuna croissant and the pastrami ,salad combo which my wife raved about both stating that the dehydrated brussel sprouts in the salad was something she wanted me to prepare at home for her my daughter liked the tuna salad but decided to take out some of the Cranberries which she said were absolutely fresh as they were very tart, both entrees were extremely tasty and prepared with super fresh ingredients. Lastly, shout out to Jasmine, shes an absolute gem of a person. Even though the restaurant was busy inside, she was incredibly attentive, professional, and had the warmest attitude. She nailed the suggestions made sure absolutely everything came out perfectly without missing a beat. this place has great vibes, great cooks who prepare great food, and great service. We will definitely be back!
