Visited Briekers News and Gourmet Café on June 11, 2025. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Despite our friendly attitude, Brandon--who was serving at the cashier desk--was noticeably rude and unwelcoming, treating us as though we were an inconvenience. For a place that presents itself as upscale, such poor customer service was both surprising and unacceptable. That said, the hotel itself is beautiful, and the rest of the staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. The food was decent, but the service at the café left a lasting negative impression.

Gorgeous location at the classic breakers hotel in West Palm Beach. I would highly recommend a visit even if you were not a hotel guest. The architecture alone is worth the visit and the gardens are stunning. This coffee shop and new stand is a really cute location off of the center courtyard in the hotel and has a great selection of pastries and coffee, it also has some wears for a purchase some books, some dishes, and souvenirs. The coffee and the croissant that we ordered was delicious and it was just so serene to sit in the beautiful gardens by the beach. highly recommend 10 out of 10.

Wow, what don't they have here in this housewares and coffee shop? You'll spend some time browsing here. There's so much to look at! Last, but not least, there's a coffee/tea shop on the left side of the store. Very friendly, helpful service when I ordered my Chai Tea! Just a few of the items you'll find here: -Nest candles and home fragrances -Christopher Radko ornaments -SMEG appliances -children's books and games -frames -table linens, linen cocktail napkins -glassware-wine glasses, cocktail glasses -bar ware -unique entertaining supplies -some furniture -candy, gourmet food items

Exceptionally curated gift shop and more. Honestly a feast for the senses. Wonderful espresso and pastries. Lovely spots to enjoy your coffee just outside the shop.

The Coffee shop at The Breakers. Starbuck Prices with better coffee and food selections. They also have bottles of wine and cigars. Located in the shops area with a beautiful outdoor seating either in a courtyard or out by the manicured lawn and scrubs. Great place to start your day.

Great place for sundries and gifts here at The Breakers hotel. They even have a coffee shop and save that serves teas and a variety of coffees. Picked up several nice picture frames today. Very nice and very elegant gift they have here.

The other breakfast options at the resort can get expensive but the Breakers News isn't that bad.

The inspiration for Beresford Manor came from the owners trips to France where they embraced the phrase art de vivre which translates to English as the art of living. The shop opened in 1993 and they have been in business for 30 years in downtown Lake Worth. As soon as you open the door you feel welcomed in both English and French. I came in looking for a birthday gift for a friend who loves lavender. I found the perfect item on a cart filled with bath items made with lavender from Provence. The narrow store is long and there are several rooms of linens, kitchen items, accessories, folding umbrellas, and personal care items from all over France. The melamine serving trays and bright colored placemats were especially pretty. They had a great selection of dish towels too as well as gorgeous fabric and wall paper so you can give your home the French country look. Prices ranged from a few dollars to much more. Service was top notch and friendly. I'll be back to shop for some Christmas presents.

Beautiful layout with themed decor for every occasion you may be pondering. This location is behind the Garden's Mall in Palm Beach Gardens. There is street parking as well as a covered garage. There is a clearance table in the rear of the room... I bought from the main items in the store and scored some napkins and plates for our impromptu soiree. Some items are pretty pricey but you are in an area that 'in theory' can afford the cost. I found the customer service to be fine... but I am also engaging when I walk into a store where people might treat me suspiciously. Which I will point out didn't happen here. Respectfully Reviewed.

There are now 10 Swoozie's locations including this one in Palm Beach Gardens. The store is well organized and has a lot of great gifts items, wrapping, greeting cards and stationary. Everything is invitingly displayed. I love their sweet Halloween decorations and they had an extensive selection of my favorite Scout bags. They had a Florida themed Scout bag that I had never seen before and fell in love with and honestly may have to go back for. They also carry games, children's items, home decor, and kitchen items. The inventory is brand name and can be very pricey. I was interested in a pillow featuring my daughter's college UCF and it was over $200! A decorative dish towel was a more affordable $15.They had many items I have not seen elsewhere and it was fun to explore this store with my girlfriends.

I was in the area on a Saturday afternoon so I took advantage to visit an area I am in love with. This was the first time I noticed the Day by Day Shoppe and the inviting outside made me want to peek in. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Will who it turns out is quite an artist. The store specializes in a mixture of new and used items. It has a vintage vibe that I adore. Will wants to upcycle and encourage people to find a creative new life for items they might otherwise throw away. From used items he creates amazing one of a kind pieces. I ended up purchasing a flower feeder for my garden made from a plate and a vase. I am going to lay bird food on it or fruit for the butterflies. I also bought a darling butterfly girl to hang in the tree above my butterfly garden. My new finds inspired me to go out and finally weed the area. In addition to wonderful accents for your garden, the shop has all kinds of home decor and accessories at very reasonable prices. Items range from just a few dollars to several hundred. I love Will's eye for design. Pot holders and dish towels for your kitchen, jewelry, glassware, china, bags, and tiny hanging gardens for your windows were just some of the items I coveted. I will definitely be back to do some holiday shopping this year. I also have my eye on a certain light fixture that Will created. Another reason to visit the store in addition to the one of a kind items is that Northwood is having a special event to help the Bahamas. The merchants in the area are collecting supplies and donating money to provide relief to the Bahamas. 10 percent of my purchase went to help support the Bahamas. So buy cool things and do good at the same time by shopping Northwood this weekend.
