Don't do it. I purchased a groupon from here months ago and decided to use it today. When I booked the appointment yesterday, the language barrier was very difficult. The receptionist kept yelling "bring cash and don't be late." When I pulled up, the curb appeal was disheartening. I still decided that I wanted to use my groupon. When I went to view my voucher on my phone it had already been redeemed (at 6:38pm when my appointment wasn't until 7:15pm). I pressed on and walked to the spa only to find the disgusting smell and dirty place that lied ahead. With that, I was out of there. $60 down the drain. read more

I was absolutely unhappy and annoyed with my experience here. I purchased a 60 minute massage and 60 minute facial for $69 on Groupon as well as a 60minute hot stone massage for my mother. Upon entering the spa, I felt uneasy because it looked about the size of a shoe box, however once I was escorted to the back, there were about 10 rooms down a long hallway. I was put in a room and told to get undressed and lay on the table. Once I did what I was asked, one of the employees barged in the room telling me I was being moved and quickly grabbed all my things and threw a robe at me. I walked to another room with her, where my mother was waiting. She informed me we would be in the same room (not a huge deal) but the beds were about a foot apart. I finally got myself somewhat comfortable on the table and the woman began my facial. The facial itself was decent, however towards the end the woman began telling my how my skin was dry, had black heads, oily, etc. and proceeded to try and sell me some sort of aqua-mask. I politely declined multiple times yet she persisted and continued to drop the price. I still refused. Meanwhile the room was the first one after the front desk, so the entire time I had to listed to the phone ringing and loud conversations. Once my facial was done, I was asked if I wanted the hot stone massage for an additional $20, which I declined. The therapist began the Swedish massage, which I thought was less than impressive. The massage basically consisted of deep rubbing; the therapist didn't even ask about pressure or anything. I was tense the entire time because I was so annoyed and couldn't wait to leave. We went here this evening for our couples massage which I purchased off of Groupon. The massage itself was good and the people were very friendly. However... Much like the past few reviews, we were laying on the tables and then the therapists come in and start up-selling us on the deep tissue. We agreed for the extra $20 per person but in the end, it was a Good Swedish massage and a very Fair deep tissue massage. Not worth the extra $ at all! If that weren't enough to ruin our experience, the woman who walked in to our room and started talking loudly about 10 minutes before the end of our massage, definitely did! The absolute worst "spa" I have ever been to, that is, If you can even call this place a "spa". The couples massage was supposed to come with chocolate, fruit, and champagne, but the chocolate was 2 Hershey kisses, and the fruit was an orange... AS FOR THE MASSAGES..horrible. My boyfriend was rubbed with stones for the entirety of the deep tissue and the beds felt like rock. The phones kept ringing, plus we had the large TV security monitor IN our room. When we were taken into the room on one of the beds was a try with two "small" cognac glasses, one deformed orange and four Hersey kisses. I wanted to take a picture of the tray to put on social media but I decided against it. This was not my first massage but it was my partners first massage and I wanted it to be special. Do not buy this groupon. It's a terrible spa, with pushy and rude staff. I got the 90 minute Swedish, and they gave me the same spiel I just read from other folks. "It's just a light caress, $15 to upgrade to deep tissue." I did the upgrade and it was basically a Swedish massage at any other decent place. Plus, the room didn't smell great. The massage was terrible, to the point where I never felt fully relaxed. So disappointing. Please, do not waste your money here. There are so many other massage groupons out there!! Oh - and they hit you with the sales tax as you leave. I was charged $8 sales tax on a purchase that was $59. That's 14%!! The tax should have been $4.13 (which is NJ state sales tax of 7%). STAY AWAY! You get what you pay for...I went with a Groupon for a 90 minute Swedish massage. The main area is nice and clean. I was called up to the front desk - I was asked for my Groupon (which was no problem) - then I was sternly advised that the tip and certificate tax was not included. Of course I assumed the gratuity was not included but what the heck is a certificate tax??? I just said fine. The place was empty but for whatever reason they put me in the room right next to the front desk - so for 90 minutes I listened to the ladies speak loudly in their native tongue! They played elevator music in the room - the bedding smelled like fish - the "massage" was nothing more than a gentle rub. I was told that if I wanted "real" massage it would cost more. I was never asked to complete any paperwork - never asked if I had any trouble areas - any concerns, etc. I had to tell her no less than FIVE times to go gentle on my low back. When I was done - I went to the front desk to check out. I was immediately given an envelope with the name "Chelsea" on it and was told that it was "for tip." The worst massage I've ever had! The technician who worked on me was totally inexperienced and had no mastery of the massage techniques that are necessary to RELAX a client. The service here is so difficult. Its impossible to make an appointment and when you do they get it wrong. When you go its like confusion all around and not relaxing. No one speaks English so its so hard to understand what is going on. They hard sell you to the point where its uncomfortable. I went here about a year ago and was happy to see that having only heard of this place via Groupon, it was very clean, smelled good and had a nice ambiance. The massage was great as well. Very thorough! It took a while for me to go back bc my schedule rarely allows for time to myself to engage but I really wanted some me time so I decided to purchase another Groupon. As the gods smiled upon me I just so happened to have a day without my daughter today so I called to see if by any chance they had an opening and was elated when she said 12:20. I said perfect! I'll take it! She asked what my number was and confused I offered my phone number. She said no your number. I said do u mean my Groupon Voucher number? She said "oh you have a Groupon? We don't have any availability for groupons today." I'm so disappointed because if you're offering the same service, simply discounted with a Groupon, you should have the same availability. I purchased a groupon for a half an hour facial & one hour Swedish massage. Upon arriving at the spa, I was not impressed with the outside view from the street. Once inside, the look and feel of the massage/facial rooms were a bit more to my liking. Over the phone, I was told that my services would be with two different people, this I would later learn was not true. The facial was actually relaxing until I was pressured to purchase a mask due to my oily skin. After much talk of my bad skin I agreed to the less expensive mask. Now, while the mask sat on my face, the same person that did my facial started to massage my legs. I wasn't sure if this was apart of the facial or not. I would soon learn it was not. The same person adjusted the table and began my massage. Needless to say, all she did was some deep rubbing, no kneading, no work on my neck, legs or feet! It was a crappy massage. At the end, they billed me for "tax" which has not been my experience with using Groupons. And aggressively asked about her tip although the massage was NOT tip worthy. I haven't even gone for my massage, don't think I will. As a new mom I was gifted a Groupon. I received it through email and it said no expiration date. A few days before it was due to expire my father in law said to me you have to book your appointment. His Groupon had an expiration on it, my version did not. So I called to book, tell them about my Groupon they say they are all booked up and I'd have to wait till the next week when my Groupon would be expired, how convenient for them. I was told a one hour massage is $120 so I'd be paying the difference of $90. No independently owned massage place is ever booked back to back. Maybe a massage envy but even then it's highly unlikely. I know I was lied to just to get money. I tip very well so they are only losing. Bought a deal for livingsocial for $100 for a 1 hour couples massage including facial. Arrive to see this is their standard price hanging with all the other massages -- that's fine I don't say anything. I read on yelp others getting the same deal got a glass of champagne -- we got nothing like that. Went to the restroom all the way down the hall and all of the massage rooms were open and I could LOOK INTO THE EYES of people getting massages. Very weird, but my hubby and I had our door closed. Throughout the entire massage and facial the ladies were speaking in Chinese very frequently to each other, which of course completely takes you out of the moment. During the facial they both pressed me and my husband to upgrade to mask packages several times. The massage and facials themselves were good, although the massage was back and arms only. The quality of the massage and facial are the only reason I am giving a 2 star rating. The worst part came when it was time to check out. They said they would charge us tax, which I did not argue, although the livingsocial voucher did not state this. They then proceeded to take out a scrap of paper from underneath the cash register that was all hand written, and insist that our actual massage cost was $380, and therefore we had to leave a minimum $40 tip. Now I always tip 20% on the actual price, NOT promotion price, however their website and hanging signs all advertise the price we paid, which would be a $20 tip. My experience here was very displeasing. Upon arrival I waited while the receptionist verified my groupon, she didn't seem too happy to be there. An older woman came out with a younger woman and started to explain that they had false advertised on the the couples Groupon, they did not receive champagne, fruit, and chocolate as promised. The receptionist then said "a couple is a man and a woman, not two women". She insisted on arguing with the women on why they did not count as a couple while the masseuse ushered them to the door after telling her she had to pay the taxes. It was very uncomfortable. "Eek! Methinks not." could not describe this place more. As a great valentine's day gift, my girlfriend got us a valentine's day special massage here through living social. The thinking being that this would be a great spot to get a massage together as we could see my parents afterwards (besides enjoying what we assumed would be a great massage together). We went in to the store to make our appointment - calling on the phone wouldn't work because they wanted us to sign up for a membership or would keeping saying times wouldn't be available. We go in, wait at the front for about 15 minutes with no one (and by no one, I mean she and I were the only ones in the front - no receptionist). We each called, from inside the store, and still no one showed up. Finally someone decided to grace the front of the store and ask us what we wanted. We proceed to book our appointment, again being asked if we are members and saying we should get a membership. We tell them we have a livingsocial deal, and they take one of our phones to see the deal (this tidbit is VERY IMPORTANT). After finally booking a time for a month in advance, we felt satisfied and left. Fast forward to the day before the appointment, exactly 18 hours prior. My girlfriend gets a call saying the appointment has been giving to someone else because they didnt have our living social number. Now, this begs 2 very important questions: 1. Why in the hell did they take our phone and look at the living social deal for? 2. How can you give up an appointment, simply because you don't have a living social number?!?! You clearly know it is a living social deal, and you clearly know we made an appointment. Common sense dictates that the customer would bring in said living social deal and we would re-present the number. Or, if you wanted to put in some legwork, you could possibly ask for that number when you called saying that you decided to cancel the appointment. Word to the wise, and everyone else who is not as wise (like the people associated with this establishment): Never, and I mean NEVER, EVER do business here. Don't send someone here even if they are your worst enemy. I am currently looking into contacting the BBB (Better Business Bureau) about taking action against them, especially since this appears to be quite the theme from the reviews. When I called to make the appointment they would not take us together because of the groupon, but if we did not use it, we could go together. We did do this but now I still had to use my groupon. This was a complete failure of customer service. I called 5 days ago and spoke to Bobo, and scheduled an appointment for today at noon for a 90 minute couples massage and facial. We arrived promptly on time, and we were told that there was no appointment on the schedule for us today, and we were requested to come back in 2 hours. We were just in town from NYC for the day and had other things scheduled for later in the day, so we couldn't make it back at the requested time. We argued back and forth for 10 minutes about it, even showing the call log of the date and time that we called to make the appointment as proof, but the woman behind the counter wouldn't relent. She stated that Bobo doesn't speak good English. (Neither did she,apparently.). But I digress. It is not the customers' fault that the company is letting someone incompetent answer the phone! As a matter of fact, I even had Bobo read back the appointment to make sure we had everything correct! We were planning to use a gift certificate that was given to us to pay for the appointment, and as we were very upset that we couldn't be accommodated, we requested a full refund. All of a sudden, there opened up availability immediately for one person to have a 30 minute facial now, and then the massage to follow would be couples, and then the other person would get their 30 minute facial AFTER, meaning the time would be extended by 30 minutes. Mind you, it was supposed to be a 45 minute massage and 45 minute facial, so each were being shortened by 15 minutes! Now, there is no free parking close by, so we had to feed the meter. When we asked for change of a dollar to put more money into the meter, they said they couldn't open the register to give change! Not only were we cheated out of 30 minutes of facial time, but they couldn't even make change??? I didn't ask for free money for the meter! Totally sub quality massages/facials due to them being rushed in, and just poor quality service all around. Not to mention that they were giving us a hard up-sell the entire time we were on the massage tables, and then had the audacity to try to sell us another certificate to come back again. They should have offered us a free facial for the 30 minute discrepancy that we had, let alone they were upset at the fact we only left a $10 tip each. First of all, it was a constant upsell- during the facial for the collagen mask and after the facial by the woman at the reception desk trying to get me to buy products. I know that the woman who did my facial did not do all of the required extractions as I had not had a facial in approx 6 months and 2 months later at another spa, the person did a ton of extractions. When I called to make the appointment, they said that they were completely booked for months, but then back-pedaled and got me an appointment for 3 weeks out. I was the only person when I went there. They kept me waiting for a good 15 minutes, then proceeded to massage my face for 20 minutes. When I asked if that was the facial, she said yes and that if I wanted a mask, it's an additional $20 (this was supposedly a special because it was typically $60). The first time I went there, I had a facial and they gave me the Groupon price (and asked me not to buy from Groupon, they said I should pay at their place and it would be cheaper) I had a facial and the person doing my facial told me that I need a microdermabrasion session and that it costs $150 but she will give it to me for $50. I said I don't want to do it but she was pushing me to buy the service too much to the point where I had to say yes just so I would enjoy the facial. When it was time to pay, the receptionist gave me an offer to buy I believe 9 sessions and get 1 free. I said no thanks. Then she said: if you think you don't deserve to buy 10 sessions for yourself, then buy at least 5 sessions. What kind of a language is that? SO RUDE. I said no thank you. She kept pushing me to buy it, I said no and I left. I liked my skin throughout the day but I had massive breakout the day after, and I don't get breakouts very often. Next Visit, THE WORST!! I went there because the facial was affordable ($39) and I thought I had breakouts the last visit because of the sun or something. So I wanted to try them again, I really wanted to love the place! When I went to the room I asked the person doing the facial to do a microdermabrasion session with the facial, she looked to my skin and said: Your skin is very thin and dry, microdermabrasion is not good for you. I will scrub your face and use a mask that will be better for your skin, it will be included in the facial price you don't have to pay more. I felt so good that she was honest and really wanted to help me enhance my skin. She left for a bit, then came back, she said: I'll scrub your face and give you the mask for $40. I was confused, she JUST said it was INCLUDED with the facial price!! I said no thank you I'm a student and I am on a budget. She then started saying: I'll give you a microdermabrasion session for $40 if you want it. I said: you just said it is not good for my skin? She said: I will apply a mask it will be better. She then starting pushing the service in my throat and asking me, do you want to do it? Do you want to do it? It is a good price, you want to do it? Ok you only pay $30, good price, you want to do it? It was SO ANNOYING!! And I felt bad saying NO too many times. I agreed to do the microdermabrasion just to enjoy what is left of my miserable facial (although she initially said microdermabrasion is bad for my skin!!). She left the room immediately and brought the device and used it on my face. She finished the facial which was mediocre. I left to pay and I was not happy at all. I tipped below %10 and she said: I'm sorry you HAVE TO TIP at least %10 because we gave you a discounted price!! I was shocked and appalled by her words. She said: %10 is $10, and I paid her $8 cash and I said: I don't have any more cash, I will pay the rest ($2) with my credit card. She said: no, pay the rest in your next visit. I said: I might not come back again, I will pay the rest of the tip now. She charged me the price with tax PLUS 10 DOLLARS TIP from my credit card, although I already paid her $8 !!! And when I went home, I realized that %10 of my bill was only about $7, not $10 as she said!!! I WAS BASICALLY RIPPED OFF, TREATED HORRIBILY, FOR A VERY MIDIOCRE SERVICE. I see some bad experiences on yelp. I bought my 90 min massage from Groupon before researching the business. No issues with scheduling. The place is very clean and well taken care of. Im not a veteran in the massage industry but I have had a bunch. I was happy with my massage. I wasn't blown away but I certainly had a really nice experience. My 3 star rating seems kinda low so ill give an audible strong 3 star rating. Prices seemed reasonable. A 90 min Swedish would cost $115. The receptionist told me I could not, but rather than going to another spa I decided to stick with them anyway even if it was overpriced. I ended up treating a couple of mom's to a massage on mother's day. A few moms liked their experience and some did not. After it was done, I tipped everyone's masseuse $7 for a one hour massage, whether they were good or bad. Once I handed the money over, the girls looked at my money like it was missing something and the receptionist told me that they usually expect $10 for every hour because they don't get paid well (obviously not my problem because she is the one who is paying them- but nevermind that point). I only had that amount of cash on me so I had nothing else to give, so as she awkwardly/demandingly stared at us for a tip. Finally one of the moms found some extra cash to ensure everyone got a $10 tip. Not only was it inappropriate but it was awkward. Here I was treating them and this establishment ruined it by bullying us for a tip. The word tip means "a GIFT or a sum of money tendered for a service performed or anticipated." Nowhere in that definition does it mean mandatory! I will not be back There are other spas and day spa that can deliver better service. read more

I had a 90 minute Swedish massage, thanks to Groupon making it affordable. I called a week ahead and had no problems getting an appointment. I arrived and was offered an upsell, but declined. The Spa was clean and I was taken in on time. "Betty" did a great massage, really relaxing. The 'sales tax' they charged ($15 on a $130 pre-discounted service) seemed high, but overall, it was worth the time spent there. read more

Awful service-in fact, the shoulder massage was so bad, I went home and immediately applied Ben Gay. The actual reflexology treatment was unprofessional and whatever "mild relaxation" I felt was gone once the girl used a crappy towel to scrub the lotion off my legs. They literally burned for 20 minutes. After all this, they had the nerve to tell me I should tip more (which I did just to get the hell out of there) even though I was already tipping 18% on the actual cost of treatment versus the Groupon cost I paid. DO NOT waste your money or time. Maybe their other services are better but this one sucked. Bad. read more

I bought a groupon. I called and left my info they never called me back. A few days later I caught a live person who booked me the following week. The place is clean! Thats a priority to me. Bring your own oil to avoid bacteria. I had a thick Asian masseuse work on me. BEWARE HERE! She kept going on my head and scrunching up my hair. I have long hair and she was knotting it up badly. I told her to please stop but somehow she went back to my hair again. When I went home half of MY HAIR BROKE OFF!!! I was livid so keep them away from your head! An unsmiling manager is yelling in Chinese at the workers non stop like an angry chiahuahua. I went and bought a package of services, for a good price compared to other spas. The next time I got reflexology. It was great. The operator was pleasant enough and did a good job. My next appt is for a body massage. For the price not bad but be assertive if they do things you dont like! SPEAK UP! read more
