The process started in 2017 when we shopped companies to replace natural grass and we didn't proceed as the pricing was just amazingly high for a very small 460 square feet project. The turf project is now complete because DFW Turf Pro's owner Marc made it so easy. We talked with several other turf companies and were pleased with their product offerings and pricing. We met Marc at the Dallas Home Show where he helped make the decision so easy by answering all of our questions and without hesitating agreed to upgrade the turf at the same price of a middle grade turf. We hired them to install artificial turf in May 2024, and the problems started immediately. We were told they wouldn't start the job due to the heavy rains in the spring--but then, without notice, they showed up and began installation while the ground was still wet. There was no proper oversight of the crew, and our sprinkler system was damaged during the process. Since then, we've had water pooling beneath the turf, fly infestations, and white concrete spots bleeding through the surface. They cut into the turf in places they thought had drainage, but missed the actual drains--covering many drains completely and some half open. Meanwhile, weeds are now popping up--not just around the edges, which we were told might happen, but right through the middle of the yard. So much for low maintenance. The seams are clearly visible and already separating. No staples were used, and the glue is failing badly. One turf professional who reviewed the job said the condition looks more like a five-year-old installation, not one that's barely a year old. We paid for the correct amount of infill, but much of it was removed from the property. Some was brought back later, but no one seemed to know what had happened to it--and they just tossed it around randomly. They also damaged our fence during installation. At one point, the current and former owners came out together to inspect the yard and admitted the turf behind the pool would need to be pulled up and replaced, and the irrigation fixed. They hired someone to repair three sprinkler heads--but instructed him not to fix the turf in that area. So now we have three spots left cut open and sunken in, with big rusty nails sticking up--a real safety risk to our dogs and kids. Despite repeated outreach and even formal letters, we haven't heard a peep from them since. The lack of accountability is beyond disappointing. Multiple reputable turf companies have since assessed the work and all agree: it needs to be completely removed and redone correctly. What should've been a long-lasting, high-quality installation has turned into a year-long headache. We had planned to host family gatherings and a wedding this summer in our backyard, but due to the condition of the turf, that's no longer possible. If you're considering hiring Luxe Blades NTX Pros, please reconsider. Do your research, speak to past clients, and get everything in writing. Our experience has been stressful, expensive, and incredibly frustrating.

I underwent a backyard renovation last year, it was awful, our contractor was rude, dismissive and made my life hell (DO NOT EVER USE DROPTINE CONSTRUCTION). The only silver lining was meeting Julian and using this company for our turf. It was the only part of my renovation that was stress free. Even outside of Julian, anyone we encountered within Luxe Blades was considerate, patient and kind.
