Avoid this company at all costs. Jennifer is one of the most unprofessional, rude, and arrogant people I've ever dealt with. From the moment I asked a simple question, she talked to me like I was stupid and acted like she was doing me a favor just by responding. No customer service skills, no patience, no respect. And the work? Absolutely awful. My yard looked worse after they "treated" it. Weeds were still everywhere, and whatever they sprayed didn't seem to do anything at all. It looked like they just showed up, halfheartedly did the job, and left without a care. When I brought it up, Jennifer got defensive instead of trying to make it right. No apology, no solution, just attitude. What's even more laughable is that they BRAG on their Facebook page about having no employees. When a company goes from having a team to suddenly being proud of having no one, it usually means something went wrong. high turnover, poor management, or bad work culture. And when there's no staff, there's no quality control, no accountability, and no consistency. Just one person doing everything, cutting corners, and blaming the customer when things go wrong. Which explains why things are the way they are now. I strongly warn anyone thinking about hiring this company: don't. You'll waste your money, your time, and end up with a yard full of weeds and a headache from dealing with Jennifer. Go with literally anyone else. read more

This company enhanced my lawn, and their pricing is very fair! After replacing a main water line in the front and using an above ground pool for one season in the back, my bare yard desperately needed treatment. Armadillos also destroyed my yard due to grub worms (caught on video). I researched to find the right company for treatment - America's Best Lawncare. The first time they came over for a quote, the owner Jason spent more than 30 minutes with me talking through options and helping me understand each process (as well as things I could do myself to save money). Thanks to this company's treatments, I no longer have grub worms nor weeds in my yard. My grass is growing like normal and looking good. I also purchased the 8 step treatment plan, which is an especially amazing deal for first time customers. I always appreciate the immediate responses from this company (phone and email) and their detailed instructions after each visit. Whether you are home or not, they always leave a note on your door with what to do/not do after treatment, including how much to water and by when. I never have to worry about them coming over; they are quick and efficient! I highly recommend them to make your grass look amazing. read more

I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your lawncare. America's Best Lawncare really did a poor job on our lawn. We let them know approximately nine months into our most recent year of service we were not happy and wanted to cancel. Since we prepaid, they refused to refund the balance of our money. Okay, fine, that's reasonable. This kind of thing occasionally happens right? Sometimes you hit a home run with contractors, other times you strikeout. When you miss on one, you just write off the money and move on. But then approximately three months later, and despite us being quite clear we were done with their company, they hit us *again* with a $669 auto-renewal charge once the year was up. We called the company the very next day (before they came out to do another treatment) and asked them to refund our money as we did not want to use their service anymore. The owner refused, claiming that even though none of their guys had yet come out for service, they had "already bought the chemicals" for our "next seven treatments." Palpably absurd. So that left us with two options: (A) continuing with America's Best Lawncare for another year and watching our lawn continue its steady calamitous decline under their care, or (B) eating the almost $700 bucks and hiring a different company that both does good work, and deals fairly--and honestly--with its customers. For us, it was a pretty easy decision to go with Option B. I'll say that again: we'd rather pay twice than allow America's Best Lawncare to work on our lawn anymore. Anyway, there are no shortages of companies in the metroplex who do this kind of work. Please, please take my advice ... and keep scrolling. read more

We had the same experience as another review about billing. We were charged in October 23 for 2024 service. In May of 2024 we were charged again with saying we had 2 treatments left. The website shows how the treatments are broken down which goes into winter for a yearly service. Multiple treatments are being done at once, which is not what's described. This also happened to someone else we know, and we let our other friends know to watch their account. Very bad accounting practices and I would never recommend. We were refunded but after many emails back and forth. read more

This business has shady billing practices. After being quoted and prepaying for the annual 8 treatments come to find out you are only paying for 8 months and get billed every 8 months not for a full years worth of service. Each year the billing cycle changes and you end up paying a lot more than what was quoted. The woman Jennifer is very argumentative, unfriendly and dismissive. I'd rather do business with a company who is transparent about their prices and nice to its customer. read more
