DO NOT GET A REPAIR HERE! 0 STARS…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience at The Phone Guys in Everett. I cracked the screen on my iPhone 16, which had absolutely zero issues before the repair. I had used third-party repair shops for previous iPhones without a problem, so I assumed spending $200 to replace the screen here would be perfectly fine. I was very wrong. I went in on a Sunday and paid $200 for the screen repair. That night, everything seemed fine. Then the problems started the very next day. My screen began randomly turning bright purple, yellow, and green**, almost like there was a filter over the entire display. The phone also started ghost-touching, typing things on its own, and randomly turning itself off. Again, I had none of these problems whatsoever before The Phone Guys worked on my phone. By Wednesday morning, the screen wouldn't even turn on. The phone would vibrate and make notification sounds, but the display was completely black. I brought it back to The Phone Guys, and they supposedly "fixed it." I went about my day, only for the phone to completely shut off again that same Wednesday night. I went back Thursday. Same issue. I went back again Friday. Same issue. At this point, I was incredibly frustrated. The employee who was dealing with my phone did not seem to have a clear explanation for what was happening. Initially, I was told they would order another screen at no charge, but the conversation then shifted toward suggesting that I had somehow caused the problems myself. I was told my phone had "bad software," despite the fact that the phone had worked perfectly until immediately after their screen repair. What made this experience even more upsetting was the lack of accountability. Instead of acknowledging that something could have gone wrong during the repair, I felt like the responsibility was being pushed back onto me. I was also told to lie to Apple and tell them that I had not received service from a third-party repair shop. That was extremely concerning and completely unacceptable to me. I eventually went to Apple because I needed a functioning phone. Apple was able to repair it, but it cost me another $300. So I am now out $500 total because I needed a cracked screen repaired. I returned to The Phone Guys again on Sunday with my receipts and documentation showing what happened. I asked them to compensate me for the additional cost I incurred after their repair. They refused, saying they needed the original screen -- which Apple had already disposed of. I understand that things can go wrong with electronics. What I cannot accept is paying $200 for a repair, immediately developing serious problems that did not exist beforehand, repeatedly returning to the same shop for help, and then being told that the problem was somehow my fault -- followed by a refusal to take responsibility for the additional $300 I had to spend getting my phone working again. If you need your iPhone repaired, I strongly recommend considering Apple directly rather than taking the risk I did. Saving money on the initial repair was absolutely not worth it in my experience. The entire situation has been incredibly frustrating, expensive, and upsetting. I feel like I paid this business to fix my phone and instead ended up paying $500 to deal with the consequences. The Phone Guys- if you are reading this, I would still like to be compensated for the additional $300 I had to spend. If you change your mind and want to resolve this, you can contact me at rileyhood998@gmail.com .

Seems like ither complains were amde against her as well so we are not the first once. Coming into the store for warranty exchange was a huge mistake. She questioned us and called us liers, at the end of the whole thing she cancelled our phone that was reciebed in their store for warranty exchange. Yes my husband was irrate on hiw she treated us and being without working phone for 4 days he walked pissed off at her as she cancelled the order and wouldn't do warranty exchange. Then i walked out of the store, and went back in few minutes to try talking to her nicely. Well it ended up being her telling me i am not welcome to the store and to get out. I called customer service and I made sure I had my phone on speaker when i went back in... They heard everything and how she was treating me and they agreed she was rude and then some. I filed complaint against her through tmobile customer service as well as through Assurant company. I come from working in customer service snd that is not how you treat your customers who have been with tmobile for almost 10 years now. This time this Russian or Ukrainian lady Olesya its not going to get away how she treated us, nor should she be working in customer service there was a younger guy with her as well. This happened couple days ago and I do not recommend this store to anyone please go to Tmobile experience store where they will treat you like a human. Worst customer service I ever received from a human in a long time. I would like for General manager to call me at 208.404.5200 for any questions, I will be contacting corporate and filing complaint as well. Just because she is store manager it doesn't mean she can treat people like she treated us.

Not only that, but Verizon support will lie about anything to keep your service and then like some more and not follow through on what they say. After we switched, we had these problems. They promised credits, a booster, and after multiple calls and promises, we had no choice but to switch as they do not follow through. At the end, we decided we needed to switch and contacted Verizon to understand the costs involved. They told us it would cost $240 to buy out one of our phones, the other nothing. When we went to cancel though, they said that was wrong and would not honor what their folks said before, even if we had it in writing, and the price we would need to pay would be $1000 more. I contacted them a few times and the last person I talked to said, "You no longer have service with us, we do not need to escalate or do anything for you..." in asking to resolve my issue. How there theft works is, say you pre pay $120 on your pay in advance account and your monthly bill is $60. You change carriers and there is $60 still pre paid on your account. They do not refund the $60 back to the original payment method, they keep it. Verizon acts so unaware this is happening.

After switching, my bill jumped to nearly $300 with multiple add-ons and services I never clearly agreed to, including home internet that has been unreliable from day one. The home internet service constantly drops in and out, making it difficult to work and use basic online services. What's most frustrating is that I feel like I was sold services I didn't actually need, and the final cost was nowhere near what was presented when I signed up. This experience feels misleading and extremely disappointing. I went in expecting honest information and left with a much higher bill and worse service than before. I would strongly advise anyone considering switching to carefully review every line item and not rely on verbal promises alone. I am actively seeking resolution and considering filing formal complaints if this issue isn't corrected. This situation needs accountability and better transparency for customers.
