The Sunday after Thanksgiving, and I only paid $73 and change for a room. Not bad at all. It appears that the place has been renovated, because the room looked almost brand new. You could tell it was an older carpet, but it was still very clean. Everything was spotless, there was plenty of light, and plenty of space to charge my gear. The TV had Dish Network with a great picture. The heater kept the room, plenty warm, and. While the bed was a tiny bit firm for my personal choice, I still got a very good nights sleep. There was a desk to work and/or eat at, as well as a fridge and a microwave. Wi-Fi was plenty fast enough to stream video. They have a soda and a snack machine, but they take bills and change only. They don't take cards. Breakfast was very basic, toast, Eggo style waffles, cold cereal, juice, and coffee. Not bad, considering the price.. there are plenty of places nearby if you want something more to eat. There are also a lot of great restaurants in town. Last minute booking resulted in this place. Pros: Decently comfortable bed Sleeping area was newer looking Ample parking Friendly, welcoming front desk person Cons: The bathroom window and ceiling has actual, visible mold on it Everyone in my party woke up slightly stuffy. It was gross. Paper thin walls. Our neighbor had an alarm clock set for 6:00 am. And proceeded to let it go for 15 minutes before turning it off. At one point, I thought it was so loud and clear surely someone in our room has a device in their bag that is going off so I looked for it. Nope. I had a reservation and because I am a traveling healthcare professional, I asked if I could check in a little early and I would check out early. He was very rude and nasty and after some time, told me that the entire hotel was booked, and that I need to 'go find another hotel'. This was after he had already deducted my Wyndham points to cover this stay. I've never been treated in such a rude, nasty and discriminatory manner. Please do not stay at this shit hole of a place (even though the options are few in the area). They do not know how to treat people of color. read more

Had the worst experience there. We got a 2 queen bed hotel room there. We stayed there Saturday night to Sunday morning. We tried watching tv but every few seconds it cut out for split second. After a bit it got really annoying trying to watch something and having it cut in and out like that. Not really a big issue just very annoying- we all ended up watching shows on our smart phones instead. The problem was, we were in a non smoking room (which I believe in California all rooms are non smoking- just looked it up yes it's a state law now). Our room was filled up with cigarette smoke while we all slept. My kid woke up with a sore throat. I woke with a headache and a what the hell is this lingering smoke in the room. Wife wasn't happy she had s headache too and went to say something. Lady at front desk apologized and said, starting with the room next to ours and down are all for smoking. I just realized they are in violation! All should be non smoking now. I just didn't like the fact my kid had to be inhaling 2nd hand smoke. Front desk was pleasant, but did not point out which wing out room was in (unlike most of the walk-up multi-wing/multi-building motels) Room clean, but small and dated Linens were clean and in good condition TL;DR - clean and adequate accommodations, but more in line with a $50-60 a night motel, so I did not think this was worth $90 to $130 per night that we ended up paying. I would say it was "OK" but not great. We enjoyed our stopover in Ukiah, but will probably look for a different place to say if overnight in this area again. read more

***3.5 Stars*** So look, I'm not above staying at a cheap-y hotel when it's fit for a particular situation. I booked this hotel for one night and one night only, so that I could lay my head down until the next morning. Was it the greatest hotel in the world? Nope. Was it the worst? Nope. But, did it fit the bill? You best believe that it did! It started off a little rocky when I first arrived. The first room that they gave me looked like something straight out of a horror movie. Okay, okay... maybe I'm exaggerating just a tad. BUT... that first room was a hot ass mess! I'm talking bugs in the room, stains on the bed, and a bug on the PILLOW! Oh HELL naw! I ran right back downstairs and asked for another room. The lady seemed calm about the situation and assigned me a different room immediately. Things went a lot better the second time around. I did a full inspection of the second room and it appeared to be clean with no signs of bugs or bed stains. The room was spacious and came equipped with a microwave, TV, and a mini fridge. The bathroom was very clean and had great water pressure in the shower. It was hot out in Ukiah, but luckily this room had good conditioning that kept me cool throughout the night. There's a decent sized pool and they also offer a complimentary breakfast of frozen waffles, hard boiled eggs, biscuits & gravy, and cereal. It ain't the best breakfast in the world but hey... it's better than nothin'! Not much seating in the breakfast room, so if you want breakfast, come early or take it up to your room. The wifi signal was excellent! So many times I find that cheap hotels have the worst wifi connection, but there was none of that here. The parking was ample and I didn't have to walk clear across the hotel to find a spot. It was relatively quiet at night and the bed was comfortable, so I was able to get some good rest. You really can't beat the prices here either. Aside from the rocky start, everything else was good. I wouldn't mind staying here again in the future. If you're looking for a cheap and convenient hotel to lay your head down for the night, Days Inn is a pretty good option. read more

The owner is a scumbag ,the place is filthy, the sheets did not look clean and we found bedbugs, also my daughter and who was pregnant at the time and her 1 yr old with her was waiting for a cab and it was 30 min late the creep that owns it kept her 150 deposite, she is a single Mom these guys also were caught price gouging during fires. I'm not racist but if these people want to become American citizens they need to learn how we do things. All the motels they buy end up full of cockroaches and bedbugs. Think twice before you stay at any local Motel in Ukiah, you are better off camping or sleeping in your car. We stayed for one night and it was very clean quiet. The staff was really nice at check in and check out.

I do not recommend. I checked in and checked out within a matter of 10 minutes. There are full time residents of the hotel who appeared to be on meth. Upon check in, my car immediately became the topic of conversation with one of them. It left me with such a bad taste, I decided to use my street smarts and not remain in the hotel. In the brief time I spent there, the room was decent enough, but not worth risking the safety of my family. I decided to eat my $118 and leave town for something where our safety or the threat of having my car stolen was not a possibility. It's disappointing that the hotel allows sketchy people to live there. Personally, I'd stay away from Ukiah if you want a hassle free safe time with your family. read more

Rolling into the parking lot in a Tesla I felt like, well, if this car doesn't get broken into tonight I will have won. The whole feel of the place was a lack of safety and smorgasbord of partying. I was there on a Monday night! The parking lot is shared with a couple of restaurants which seems to attract loitering teenagers and tattoo faced young adults. I'm not sure if this is what made me feel unsafe, but I told myself that this actually made the place safer, because there would be more people around to witness my car being vandalized. I did like that the whole parking lot was lined with the kind of bright lights that would make any baseball field or wal-matt Supercenter proud. A homeless man approached me while I was checking in and asked to use my phone. Maybe I should have let him, "I said I'm sorry I'm not comfortable with that." With some guilt in my face I made eye contact with the fruity smelling girl checking me in, and she made a look like "hey, do you feel safe right now?" And I made a look like "I do not feel safe right now." She then let me in the safer confines of the front office and we continued our check-in process which went smoothly from there. From the inside wafted the vague odor of cheese, feet, or maybe mold. There are some stinky places where you lay there and your nose gets used to it and you don't smell it anymore. Not here, the smell had such a pungent complexity; layers hung in the air. Sometimes I would turn over in bed and say "hmmm is that urine?" The look of the place was adequate, not at all visually alarming at least in the interior. It did have a slight institutional feel. As a person who has lived in many institutions the many layers of cheap paint and complete disregard for edges and fixtures in the way, coupled with that bare plumbing prison toilet gave it away. The bathroom offered an extremely neon light, the kind that makes your face look like an age progression of yourself. On the wall hung what clearly used to be a gloves dispenser repurposed as a tissue dispenser (the box is the same size). At this point I felt really grateful for reliably hot water, which was in ample supply. The final nail in the coffin for Days inn Ukiah was that you could hear every nearby person. I considered myself lucky to have gotten an end room, conveniently tucked in a corner with the least neighbors possible. I had a little dog with me who likes to boof when he hears stomping or most any movement. Needless to say whenever someone would get out of their car or move about upstairs it was audible and he would boof away. I'm a very light sleeper so it's hard to say whether I would have slept without him, but dans or sans the dog, there was not sleep to be had. Oh, the wifi was no good, which is why I stayed here in the first place. I went and worked at McDonald's the next day. I left for the next leg of my road trip grateful that I would never again stay at the Days Inn Ukiah, and that it would serve as a beacon of hope that at least I wasn't sleeping there, whatever bad place I might currently be. So why two stars? Because they offered an adequate place to sleep with a bathtub, a decent bed, and my car did not get broken into. If you have the choice and you would like working internet, don't stay here. read more

We had a very good experience here. The front desk guy was kind, professional and accommodating. The room was very clean, spacious, had a refrigerator, shower water pressure was good, the bed was super comfortable, the A/C worked great. One lightbulb was out, the bed spread was dated, the carpet could use a shampoo but for the price this was a great value. I have paid more at Motel 6 for so much less. The WiFi was great so we watched our favorite Netflix show on my laptop. It was pretty quiet. We forgot our pillows and they were really good about looking into it and I'm waiting to see if housekeeping has them but if they do they are going to send them back to us. Not perfect, not fancy but clean and comfortable and again, for the price it was much better than we expected. The room was clean and the price was reasonable for Memorial Day weekend, which is why this place gets 2 stars. I also appreciate that they are giving out breakfast kits since CA still has continental breakfast closed. Now for the bad, the beds were poorly made, bottom sheets just thrown on and not tucked in. My sons twin bed only had one sheet, folded in half so he had to crawl in like a sleeping bag. This is after they called and tried to convince to change rooms to 2 queens with no explanation (we had a king bed with a twin). We didn't want the smaller bed as we wanted a good nights sleep, despite us being clear there were 3 of us in the room they only gave us 2 sets of towels. We made it work, but when 3 people book a room there should be 3 sets of towels. The WiFi was incredibly slow, we were able to do anything on it. Lastly none of us slept well because of the noise! The room next to us was playing music until 11PM with loud base, and started again at 6AM waking us all up! He was also smoking in the room with the door cracked, disgusting. Hotel staff needs to enforce smoking and noise rules. I tried to stop by the front to address this problems, but the lobby is closed. They have a public phone outside you are supposed to pick up and use to talk to them, which I am not doing during COVID times. Also no one was behind the window. If you are traveling with a family avoid this place, it's not family friendly. If you are young and looking to party all night it's probably fine. read more

My daughter had to make a long drive alone. She was given a gift Mastercard for expenses on her drive. She stopped at the Ukiah Days Inn at the end of a longs days drive on 10/24/22. The person checking her in refused to accept the MC saying they don't accept gift cards. He was rude, aggressive and when she tried to talk about it he threatened to not let her stay at all. She finally was checked in but he HAND WROTE a statement that "she was aware they didn't accept gift cars..." and MADE HER SIGN IT. What type of service is this? Since when do you not accept MC...of any type. She called me upset and distressed. I would like corporate speak to this employee about their customer service, this is unacceptable behavior and I will NEVER use your hotels again (used to be my favorite) and will encourage my family and followers to do the same. Days Inn knows what's up. Conveniently located right by solid Ukiah hangouts and with ample parking spots, Days Inn is a wonderful affordable option if you happen to be in the area. My friend and I split a room here and we each paid about $40 dollars each. The room was big, with two comfortable full beds, with soft sheets and large fluffy pillows. The toiletries were decent and the shower was clean. Check-in was easy and the lobby was very accessible if we had any questions. One of the highlights was the refreshing pool, with a plethora of seats - perfect for late night cocktail making and gossip sessions. If I happened to be in the area again (and trust me Vichy is well worth making the trip make up here for) I wouldn't hesitate to book a repeat stay here. Trust. read more

Our air conditioner didn't work but maintenance came fast and fixed whatever problem it was. The tv did not work the nice woman from the front desk fix it but if you turn off the tv and turn it on again it does not work she had to bring up a remote from the front desk to fix it. With all the Covid problems we decided not to have her back in the room as she did not wear a mask. So this place is not very fancy. Its an acceptable place to stay if you just plan on sleeping in your room at night and need a place to shower. That being said, our room did look like it had been recently renovated and was not bad looking at first glance. The blow dryer in our room did not work, and even though our room was non-smoking it smelled faintly of smoke and was very stuffy the whole two nights we were there. The light smoke smell is probably my biggest gripe about this place. There are a lot of bugs all over Ukiah, and a couple did get into the room but nothing crazy. There is cable TV and a microwave plus a mini fridge in the room as well, which was nice. Also a small coffee/hot water maker. Overall this place was ok, if you aren't super picky about things its fine. read more

My friends and I were on a road trip and needed a cheap place to stay for the night, so we booked a room here. We arrived around 2 AM and left around 9 AM. We were exhausted once we got there and immediately went to bed. A week after our trip, I had a $300 charge from Days Inn Ukiah on my credit card. I called and spoke to the manager Nick Bhula. He explained to me that the $300 was a damage charge for a broken TV. I then explained to him that we did not touch or turn on the TV and asked if it could have possibly been broken before or after our stay. The only response Mr. Bhula could give me was that we were the last to book the room, therefore it must have been us who broke the TV. Mr. Bhula then became unreasonable on the phone and started interrupting every sentence of mine and promised he would immediately send me a picture of the broken TV - which he never did. I have been trying to dispute this charge for two months now through my credit card company and Wyndham Customer Care. This has now turned into a situation where it is my word against his. Wyndham Customer Care has reported to me that the only way the charge can be removed is from Days Inn Ukiah - which is controlled by Mr. Bhula. If this was the last hotel in the world I would still prefer to sleep outside than to ever stay at this hotel or any Wyndham property. Mr. Bhula noticed an easy and helpless target to scam $300 out of... don't let the next victim be you. read more

Had to have it run because they leave the pool area lights on all night so you have to close the window shutters for darkness in the room. As we were leaving the first morning my wife said we were out of the room for cleaning to the staff cleaning the next door room. Came back at 7PM, room was not touched !! For check out, the office said we won't need to come to the office, just leave the card keys in the room. It took several requests before they would print a final check out receipt ! read more

Cons: A bit noisy, bathroom was a bit worn and the tub had some hairs from prior guests. Stupid room light wouldn't turn off completely at night so I had to throw clothes over it. Minimal seating in breakfast room. For $69 a night on a holiday weekend, I thought it was a great value. Would stay again. Tip: ask for a room on the 2nd floor. This spot deserves a high rating in it's category of a cheapo motel in a small town. Keep in mind I am not comparing this to any luxury hotels. But for the price paid this is as good as a motel gets! This place suited our needs perfectly. The owner/staff at the hotel were super extra kind and helpful. The room was as clean as can be (and I am a super weirdo hotel room germaphobe), albeit outdated but at least the outdated style was entertaining to say the least! They allow dogs for an extra 10 dollar charge. It was right in the middle of town and super close to downtown Ukiah. They serve continental breakfast that got the job done, AND it was the cheapest place in town. Based on the reviews of hotels around Ukiah it seems like I scored by picking the Ukiah Days Inn. Our friends were getting married in nearby Hopland and we decided to get a room so we didn't have to make the long drive back and forth. This place was by far the cheapest. I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be pretty nice. We checked in pretty late and then checked out the next morning, but overall, everything was fine. The parking lot is very spacious. The room was pretty clean... no complaints there. The pool looks super nice, but too bad we didn't have any time to enjoy it. In terms of a motel experience, I've definitely had way worse. If I ever find myself in the area again for whatever reason, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

It's not terribly exciting. upstairs really smelled of smoke when we arrived and we were instantly turned off from staying but thankfully it cleared up. Maybe just a rouge smoker. On the cleanliness front it's "mehh" as well. Its wasn't dirty but my wife did find a few hairs on the sheets during her inspection. Their "breakfast" which at these places is usually foul, was actually ok. self serve waffles were a hit with my little girl. Mom had to walk away to attend child while I waited for my credit card to be returned Room was in a corner - completely empty hotel except for three cars, all pushed into the same furthest corner from Registration Got luggage in. Moldy, dank smell from the get go. Stepped outside to car to stand and smoke. Next door room sprung open and lady walked out "you have a dog!!" I saw said I had two and that's why we're at this place. followed by her screaming "YOU CANNOT SMOKE OUT HERE. I HAVE TO SHUT MY WINDOWS". I was by my car, not her door. Horrible craftsmanship whoever worked on this place. Spider webs on the ceiling. But hey, if you're stuck in the middle of this nowhere ass area and want to just spend the 130$ on a bed, shower, and toilet to desperately get off the road, it will work. Just don't expect to be impressed. Btw the complimentary breakfast consists of bad coffee, carbonated orange juice, biscuits and questionable gravy, English muffins/toast, hard boiled eggs, and cereal.
