This hotel was cheap, fairly clean, nice staff, and had pool and spa. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. There is a mini fridge in the room. The negatives were paper thin walls and we could hear a bus load of kids all night, the hotel room was poorly stocked, and the breakfast was below average but did include precooked eggs and sausage. read more

My husband, our dog, and I stayed here for 3 nights in mid November. We enjoyed our stay! I chose this hotel since it is dog friendly ($15 per day fee for pets), has a microwave / mini fridge in room, free hot breakfast, away from all the shops in Williams but a very short drive, and the price was right. Our room on the first floor was facing the back so there was less action outside our window with a view of the woodsy area. Parking is also available in the back so we parked our car by our window. We got a king sized bed room which I thought was spacious enough for 2 adults and a 40 lb dog. The bed and pillows were comfy, reclining chair was comfy, TV had HBO movies, microwave and fridge worked fine, heater also heat up the place nicely! Did not use the safe. The bathroom is dated but was clean, hair dryer worked, and shower got warm quick with good water pressure. The walls are pretty thin! You can hear everyone in the hallways. One day when we arrived back to our room, the room directly above us was running a marathon in their room or something.. we let them get it out of their system for an hour and a half before calling the front desk who said they can hear it too. The front desk said they'd call them and the noise finally stopped shortly after. With that being said, we only encountered friendly customer service! The free breakfast served in a dining area consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, pancake maker, oatmeal packets, fruits, juice, coffee. Coffee and tea is available 24/7 in the lobby! For those traveling with their dogs: We walked our dog around the hotel in the parking lot which wraps around the building. It felt safe since the hotel is above the main road. My mom and I visit Williams at least once a year to go to Bearizona! We usually stay overnight and go home the next day. For the last several years, we've stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham in Williams because it's one of very few hotels up there that are super nice and clean! This time around (5/25/23), we brought my grandparents with us to experience Bearizona since they've never been. We reserved 2 rooms (RM 116 & 118), which are next door to each other and adjoined by a door in between the rooms. Both rooms included 2 queen size beds, bathroom, AC unit, hanging rack for clothes, TV/Cable, internet, microwave, refrigerator (no freezer), complimentary coffee/tea, and a table/desk with chair. Our rooms faced the front of the hotel, which we had a nice window view of the Forresty trees! The room and the beds were very clean and the mattresses were memory foam comfy! They provide 3 pillows on each bed, which is always a plus for me because I sleep with multiple pillows. I was very impressed by the restroom and how clean it felt. Complimentary shampoos, conditioners, soaps, and lotions were also provided in the bathrooms. You can tell the staff do an amazing job maintaining the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms! This hotel also comes with a laundry facility, a pool, a gift shop, a lobby/front desk, and complimentary breakfast from 630am-9am. For breakfast, they served eggs, sausage, pancakes, toast, donuts, cereal, yogurt, juices, coffee, and hot chocolate! I had the eggs, sausage, and toast, which all were very tasty! The staff were on point ensuring that food and drinks were readily available for everyone! I highly recommend staying at this hotel during your visit to Williams. It is located less than a mile from the little town of Williams (Route 66), which is nice because it is away from the town, but close enough to walk there (approx. 10 minute walk) or drive (about a 2-3 minute drive). Of the many times my mom and I stayed here, we NEVER had a bad experience. The staff have always been helpful and housekeeping does an excellent job maintaining the cleanliness of the property. Even during Covid, when they had safety precautions, the way they handled their facilities and customers on the property were great! Our grandparents gave this hotel a 5/5 stars! Stayed a night, beautiful snow out there. Easy and friendly check in. The place was better than expected. It was worth the stay. The breakfast was nice. Offered pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages, cereal and toast/bagels/donuts. It's the usual days inn type of breakfast so we weren't expecting extravagant. Pet friendly, 25 a night. We happened to be here during the nice snow which made it even better. The room itself felt good, I see the efforts of trying to update the look. I'm usually skeptical of new places to stay for pit stop, but this was the place for us to rest before visiting Grand Canyon south rim. A really cute and nice motel if your traveling to South Rim Grand Canyon. (drive is 1+ hrs) The rooms & beds were very comfy. Breakfast not so good your better off driving into town. The small town of Williams is just about 5 miles and such a wonderful place to visit. Nice restaurants and many small shops to visit. The train station is located in town that takes you to Grand Canyon however, reservations are required since its an either 1 or 2 day trip. Would definitely stay again. read more

The front staff was professional and made my check-in easy In addition I needed some help with the TV and their employee Odane was efficient, professional and had extremely good manners. I also left my key inside the room and again Odane was there for my rescue . The back parking lot is right next to a hill/mountain and it was full of snow so all the children and parents were playing and tubing down the hill. The Days Inn was my last hotel after staying in seven different best western and days inn across four states. This hotel is very clean, the staff are fun and excited about talking to customers, the breakfast is well laid out with many choices, and the custodial staff and housekeeping staff are lovely. It was a great stay. I would highly recommend it. It is away from the main part of town and extremely quiet. I saw no problems with any kind of electrical interference as another person referenced in their review. I will say this the following items were served at our breakfast three kinds of bread and English muffins. A toaster that was on constantly. A pancake machine that made two pancakes per order, yogurts, scrambled eggs, and sausage patties, three kinds of cereal, two juices, a milk, machine, a cocoa machine, a coffee machine, fresh fruit, and lots of condiments. The whole time I was at breakfast there was a housekeeper consistently, making sure that the areas were clean, coffee was made, all of the hot foods and bakery items were replenished and all necessary items for making a breakfast were available to the guests. At breakfast, there were about 20 people in a very good size room that allowed for everyone to have a seat. The place was clean. The breakfast free. And there is an indoor pool. Refrigerator and microwave in the room. Free coffee 24/7 in lobby. Free newspaper. What else do you need? And it was cheap! Sure it is dated and not the nicest place as far as amenities go. But they actually cleaned the room between nights. Most places I go to don't offer cleaning between nights, using covid or supply chain as excuses. The staff at the desk were friendly and efficient. My family of 3 would stay here again. read more

Do your own research and confirm this is a huge NO NO close proximity people and pets. Loud guests pacing on the second floor. Very rude staff. Coffee machine disgusting and so was the breakfast. As other reviews pointed out the AC/heater impossible regulate. During the Winter you either wake up in a puddle of sweat or freeze. I did not use the pool so can't comment about that. The Best Western Plus next to this dump is far superior in every way and the City of Williams has numerous Hotels better than this place at lower prices. No security cameras that i could see cover the parking areas. Make sure you don't leave any valuables in your vehicles. It's also "pet friendly" Dogs/Cats. I decided to book this hotel to save some money while doing the Polar Express experience. It was well worth the price. The room was clean - when I pulled back the covers, the sheets were white as snow. The bed was not as comfortable as I would've liked, but it was definitely OK for the two nights we stayed. The room was warm and overall clean - the carpet was a little worn and kind of dirty, but I just wore my slippers around. It seemed like the flat screen TVs were brand new. The breakfast was good - a variety of food which was mostly fresh. The breakfast room was overall clean, though it would have been nice to have a staff turning the tables over more quickly and wiping things down. The pool was amazing - very well taken care of and the hot tub was hot! I didn't interact much with the staff so I don't have much to say about them. The interactions I did have were cordial. We came at Christmas time and the decorations were nice and homey. Definitely recommend! read more

Zero rating! The room is clean and comfortable, give it a 10 for that. When we made our reservations we were not made aware of the fact there is a major construction project going on. We were unable to go from our room to the pool/hot tub without going outside into the cold! Also there were no towels! The "towels" were tub mats!!! Also we will not be able to go to the continental breakfast without going outside to get there. There isn't even a soap holder/shampoo bottle holder in the shower?!?! The manager "Jessica" and her teammate "Leslie" were so unfriendly and unsympathetic that it gave me the chills. Who are these ladies? Do you really want this kind of person to represent your company? I did not see them move from behind the desk in an hour or more. I give your hotel a ZERO rating and I stand by it! We've stayed here a few times since 2019 in both summer and winter months. The hotel during the holiday in decorated with lights and Christmas trees. So fun for the kiddos! It's on the outskirts of Williams and at a great location. It's next to A restaurant and a shell gas station but wouldn't know it from inside your room. Plenty of parking and pretty views into the woods behind the property, even more pretty covered in snow. The property itself is ok for what it is. It's old but it's also not awfully old. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are ok too. I think they are a little small especially if traveling with 3+ people. Both AC and heat work. The AC can be loud for some people but I like the sound of a fan so it doesn't bother us. We really enjoyed it the first couple stays but this last time we were disappointed. The bathroom had an odd smell coming from it and it was definitely feeling and looking outdated. Cracks in the walls and floor don't give a warm welcoming vibe. The rooms are big yes and that's a huge reason we stay here. We travel with a toddler and a special needs child. Big enough for two beds, suitcases and a pack and play if needed plus what we need for our special needs little. It definitely needs some more seating options and maybe a lamp on the desk as well. The breakfast we usually miss since it's only from 6-9. Breakfast usually is until 11 so it would be nice to have the option 6-11 and not feel so over crowded. We have made it to breakfast once in our 4 stays here and I will say the room they serve breakfast in is small and really doesn't have alot of space or seating. No elevators Is a huge downfall. I have a special needs child who can't climb stairs so I always have to request a first level room which they have accommodated every time thankfully. Staff is so friendly and helpful which is a huge bonus to staying in a hotel and why a lot of people return. read more

What a pleasant surprise. With such an amazing rate, I was expecting a very humble stay. I was. Wrong. The rooms were nice, comfy, and very clean. Overall positive experience. It was in a quiet area all by itself, except for the gas station right next door but as far as I'm concerned, that's a plus. Since it had a little convenience store inside, you can get snacks and drinks within walking distance if need be. Theres a pool separated by glass in front of the reception area. The receptionist was nice. I wish she would have told me that if I had have checked in, via Yelp, I would have received 10% off my stay. Other than that, there was nothing remarkable about the place. Hotel was a little more expensive than I would have liked ($164), but I'm ultimately glad I stayed here. After some daily five hour drives over the previous week I decided that I wanted to only drive a short distance between Flagstaff and Vegas. My King room was perfect for my needs. This isn't a Hyatt or anything and so the bathroom isn't going to be tastefully designed or expansive (and there was a slightly weird smell in my room when I first got there), but if you can get past all those things you might be used to at other hotel chains, I found this to suit my needs out of a room I was looking for at the time. Clean facilities, spacious room, lots of television channels, internet worked fine. Found the soft bed very comfortable. Breakfast was a little cramped with so many people in such a small space so I didn't partake. Saw a few families using what seemed to be a pretty expansive pool when I checked in. The location was a pleasant surprise: basically in the middle of a forest (beautiful trees!), near a Shell gas station, and yards away from a very tasty Mexican restaurant (recommend the huevos rancheros). read more

We stayed one night and it was horrible. The bed was too soft, the heater wouldn't turn off so you either had to freeze or burn up. When we tried to contact the front desk, no one answered and the prompt asked you to put in a code. Upon checking out, the person at the desk didn't seem to care. The breakfast consisted of fake scrambled eggs, undercooked sausage, the biscuits were extremely hard and the gravy was watery. We are still here - it's clean enough and decent however it was freezing in our room and there was no thermostat to adjust the temp. You are given basically two sheets and no blanket. It snowed last night and there was zero plowing of the lot and we were told it wouldn't happen until much later. When we asked for a shovel the two very disinterested woman at the desk did a small search and said they didn't have one! It's upper elevation there is a shovel somewhere! We had such a great stay thanks to the night shift employee Nathan. We were driving 7 hours through the night and wasn't going to be arriving at Days inn until 5am. The plan was just to stay the night and the next day continue our drive to Wisconsin. However due to distance learning the kids still had school so we would have to wait to get on the road until they were finished. I called Days inn and Nathan answered, as I told him my concerns about the time of our arrival and the kids needing WiFi to finish school. He was able to make special accommodations for us. Instead of the usual check in anytime after 3pm and check out by 12pm. He arranged it so that our check in time was 4am and check out time 4pm. This allow my husband and I to get rest after driving all night and the kids have a room with WiFi to there school work. Thank you so much Nathan!! read more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during my daughters spring break. Ty at the front desk was awesome. Excellent customer service. He referred us to the Mexican restaurant next door and gave us a flyer for 10 percent off. The servings are Huge! My daughters cheese enchiladas were really good and my chicken tacos were also good. My son chose chicken nachos and they were good as well. My husband had a carne asada burrito and that was not so good. I don't understand the negative reviews about the hotels breakfast. We all thought it was great! Scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, bagels, toast, fruit etc. Enough selection to make everyone in your group happy. Everything was fresh and tasted great. The spa was out of order during our stay which was a bummer because it was cold and snowing outside and having that up and running would have been a huge plus for us. Things happen though and we understand that. Our room was dated and our shower was not clean. Dust and grime along the top. My husband and my kids slept great. They said the beds were very comfortable. I hardly slept at all and found the beds very uncomfortable. The hotel was nice and quiet. We didn't have any problems with loud neighbors or anything of the sort. It was nice the hotel and had washers and dryers but we didn't need to use them. This place is right off the highway. The room is clean. It's carpeted though, which I didn't realize. I should have brought slippers. I wish the blankets are thicker or have extra blankets available. There is a unit a/c and heater, like the old style. It works though! The staff are nice. Breakfast was included. It was scrambled eggs, pork sausages, pancake, bagels, oatmeal, coffee and tea. I think their eggs and sausages are good. I've been to other hotels where their sausages were boiled rather than fried or baked. There was also 24/7 coffee and hot chocolate. This is nice especially during the time we were there it was snowing. The walls are thin though. You can hear everything. Our stay would have been nice but children on the second floor kept running and jumping and making all these loud noises. I mean how can you expect any guests to get some rest if you have families who allow this kind of behavior? Stayed overnight after going on the Polar Express and off to Grand Canyon National Park South Rim the next day. Gotta have the free continental breakfast along with it. Nothing like hot coffee and a pastry to start the morning. Its good and it gets fuel into everyone without having to go anywhere and its FREE, I mean PC: Complementary. Even though there is a familiar chain diner restaurant across the parking lot. One of best parts was that they also have a heated indoor pool and hot tub. Although we didn't get to utilize them, some other kids were up bright and early already swimming in it and enjoying themselves. But the most amazing thing was waking up and looking out the window to a scene that is covered all in white from all the snowfall the previous night. Almost a foot of snow had blanketed everything.
