    Its atrraction at restaurant

Tourists beware. Looks can be deceiving. We stopped at Wild West Junction during our family trip to the Grand Canyon. From the outside, it looked like the perfect spot -- fun Western theme, charming decor -- but from the moment we walked in, things felt off. No greeting, no welcome, just blank stares. We had to ask if they were open, and were told to grab our own menus and seat ourselves. Once we sat outside, the cold energy continued. People nearby kept staring at us like we didn't belong. We were just a family with kids, trying to have a good time -- but we felt judged the entire time. Our server was the only bright spot -- she was polite -- but the food didn't help. My wife's burger was undercooked even though she asked for well done. The mac and cheese was ridiculously salty. Ribs were dry and needed hot sauce to be edible. The fries and tots were the only decent part of the meal. We paid nearly $70 for a disappointing experience and food we barely ate. I still tipped $7 because I'm not going to stoop to the level of how we were made to feel... but honestly, I wish I could get my money back. This place depends on tourism, yet made us feel completely unwelcome. We won't be back. Save your money and go somewhere that actually appreciates your business.

Fun little old fashioned place to stop and stretch your legs. The Saloon has a good variety of food and friendly staff. 1. Get a cup of chili...it's delicious. Not spicy. The whole family likes it and we all have different tastes 2. I got the loaded baked potato without meat and it was delicious and filling. 3. Hubs got some Mac and cheese with brisket and he really enjoyed that. The brisket was a great flavor and not overly Smokey. 4. Daughter got medium rare New York strip and it was the steak she has been craving for a couple weeks. Highly recommend this place.

Visited 2/19/2022 Gave this place a try because it was my lady's birthday and she wanted Prime Rib. Sadly Rods Steak House was closed and this was the only place serving Prime Rib on a Saturday Night. Unfortunately the cook way way way Over-salted everything. Won't be trying The Prime Rib Again. Now for the good. The Fried Shrimp although a bit overpriced was 5 Full Stars and among the Best we have ever had. The MixedDrinks also, Jack & Coke we're done very well. 4 Stars. The real mashed potatoes and the Country Gravy were excellent. Wish I could give this place a better rating but not this round. We will visit again for Appetizers and Cocktails and maybe a Burger A did only give 2 Stars because of the disappointing Prime Rib Dinner. Perhaps the steaks might be better. I sure did Miss Rods Prime Rib and Sautéed Mushrooms. Try Try Again

Children are allowed in this brewhouse, but I found it to not be the most exciting place to bring children. The bar had two arcade-like games (a shooting game and ski-ball). The shooting game was broken but charged us anyway (a manager had to refund us), and the ski-ball was entertaining, but with the amount of kids, and there only being one machine, it was a challenge. I wouldn't call this a sports bar either. There were some TVs but nothing big or to write home about. Come here for a chill time with adults to enjoy conversation and great beer. They have a fairly large merch section in the back, with tons of great shirts and items to take home.

The space still has that nice rustic charm with plenty of seating inside and outside on their nice patio. Ordering, however, has changed. Beers, cocktails, nonalcoholic beverages, cans to-go, and food is all ordered up at the bar. There was 1 lone employee working the bar; taking orders, pouring beers, mixing cocktails, and closing people out at the register. This was so incredibly inefficient, particularly on such a busy day. I stood in line 3 separate times (once to initially order two pints, a second time to order a flight of other beers we wanted to taste, and a final time to purchase two cans to-go and close out my tab); each time in line took between 15-25 minutes. The girl behind the bar was very friendly and she was working as quickly as possible while maintaining a relatively happy attitude, but boy did I feel bad for her. Management really messed this up; someone needed to step in and help. With such a big celebration in town that day, there needed to be a minimum of 3 employees manning the bar to take orders and get drinks. As for the beer itself, as usual it's just average. Great if you're looking for something cold to enjoy, but not memorable if you're a craft beer nerd. We went in knowing what the quality would be, but still wanted to try all the new beers since we hadn't been in a couple of years. We didn't eat while there, but in the past when we have, the food is good. The knock of two stars was simply for the horrible management of orders. I don't know when they decided to get rid of waiters and put all the pressure onto the bartender, but geez what an awful decision that was.

We showed up early to check it out and they do have outdoor seating area that's well lit and clean. It is located in the Grand Canyon Hotel. Sue was our server - she was very nice and attentive. The reason for the 4 star is that I tried ordering 2 items (surf and turf, sirloin) and neither were in stock on a Sunday evening. I ended up getting the tri-tip and it was a little dry. My fiancé got the NY strip and he enjoyed that. We both liked the Brussels sprouts and tomato tortilla soup. The food came out quickly, hot, and a decent portion. We would go back if we're back in town, especially if the dogs are with us!

The servers were nice both times we came (once for breakfast and once for dinner), though things seemed hectic since we arrived pretty close to opening time for dinner. Despite having a reservation, it seemed like a surprise that we showed up just as they were opening. We'd have been *very* happy to eat later, but could not book a reservation for any later, so we assumed that it would be crowded due to the holiday weekend. However, I'm sure the place was not going to get that busy in 90 minutes -- we were the only non-bar customers for almost an hour. It must be some sort of policy to only accept online reservations for specific times. Or, maybe that was the case for the weekend we were in town. After the breakfast that was just OK, I decided not to spend the money on a steak for dinner. The pan fried chicken was good, though the up charge to swap out the collard greens for fries was quite a lot ($4, I think) given that both are the same cost on the sides menu. Maybe the steaks are amazing and I missed out, but there are less expensive, though less fancy, options not too far away. That said, the bar area was pretty full by the time we finished dinner, so maybe that's the way to go.

Fortunately, we were able to find parking downtown. We love Italian food, so we decided to stop in here. The place was clean, and everybody was friendly and helpful. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a quick service type set up You order at the counter, and then they bring your food to you. We asked what the turnaround time was, and the gentleman said about a half an hour. As I mentioned, the entire town was busy, so we decided to stay for lunch. Everything on the menu sounded good, but We decided to split the hog pizza, With. Tomato sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, italian sausage and salami. They use a woodfired oven, which makes for a much higher quality pie.... Our food came at almost exactly a half an hour. It was a very decent sized pizza. The crust was perfect, and it was also a good quality, tomato sauce, with just a little bit of a "tang" to it. They were generous with the cheese and the meats, and you could tell that they were using a very good quality meat. It was an excellent pizza. They had a couple of "Arizona gunslinger" hot sauces is on the table. I didn't care for the red sauce, but I loved the green sauce. It's a jalapeño based sauce, but the jalapeño didn't take over the rest of the sauce. It had a complex slightly sweet flavor, and not too much of a "kick". It said "smokin ' hot" on the bottle, but it wasn't all heat. The complex flavor played very well with the heat I liked it so much, I asked if they sold it in their gift shop, and they said no, but there was a shop a couple of doors down that carries it. I wish I would remember the name of the shop. It was your standard gift shop, but they had a huge selection of hot sauces available I got my bottle, and I'm glad I brought it home. I love this stuff. I hear that you can also buy it in grocery stores around Arizona. The price for the pizza was extremely reasonable, for all we got, and as I mentioned, this place has a gift shop, as well as a full bar. This is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. Thanks.
